I stayed here last year and again this week. I have a Class B motorhome. It is a nice RV park with a very clean restroom, Hot showers, and I am always appreciative of an electrical hookup. The people are friendly and helpful. I will stay here again anytime I am in this area.

We've stayed there twice, and each time when we've arrived during posted office hours, the office has been closed. This time, the space we were assigned wasn't big enough for us, and it took several phone calls while waiting in the RV outside the office to get a live body. At the end of a trip, this can be very frustrating and stressful. Once I got a live body we solved the issue quickly.

We didn't have a reservation and we had to make an emergency stop due to bad weather ahead and me being exhausted from driving all day. They had the perfect spot for us to lay low from the storm. We love this KOA as it's been one of our regular stops on our winter vacation to Arizona.

We were traveling through Nevada and needed a place to stay at the last minute and the front desk lady was so nice and took our reservation while we were on the road. Nice, quiet and clean cabin. We will stay again soon!

Bathrooms & showers were absolutely the best. If you select one of the extra large pull throughs you will be about a 1/4 mile walk to the bathrooms. No biggy I guess, unless its winter and your trying not to use on board shower/toliet. Not a killer but wifi is listed as high speed star link but we were never able to log in, even with help. Cooler didn't work. Staff was outstanding and friendly.

Just a one night stop along the way south to AZ. We were a late arrival and a packet of information was there outside the office for us. Very thorough and complete. WiFi was not very good. A little muddy where we attached to the hook-ups. Could use a little more gravel in that area would have been helpful. The stars at night were spectacular!

I rented a cabin for 6 days but checked out 3days early due to a change in my schedule. The accommodations were much better than I expected. Hopefully I get a credit for the days that were not used. Host was pleasant and very accommodating.

Awesome KOA! Easy check-in, nice large rv site for our rig, Very well maintained, clean and nicely landscaped. The staff were very polite as well. We will be back!

Awesome stay at the Ely KOA! The deluxe tent sites had a bit of traffic not to mention it was cold that weekend, so we upgraded to deluxe cabin and we’re very happy. We did that nice clean and warm fully outfitted kitchen! will be back around at some point!

Check in was quick and pleasant with our reservation site easy to find. Rest rooms and showers way above average. Only minus was the unlevel front to rear site, Front wheels off the ground to get level. Lots of close trails to walk our dog and “us”.

We made this reservation back in April and was unable to use it. The office staff recommended to move the reservation later in the year which she did. Everything was ready for us when we got there. No problems at all. This is not the first time we have stayed here and we plan on staying here again next time we come through Ely. Thanks!

Summer 2022. This park is average for a KOA Journey. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of big trees in much of the park. Clean restrooms and showers (although the showers REALLY need 2-3 large hooks for towels and clothes). Good water pressure. Decently stocked camp store. Great views to the east and north. The park definitely needs some TLC though. Lots of dead branches on trees and even several dead/dying trees. Concerned wind could break off dead branches and damage rig. Gravel/rock could use a refresh in some areas. Planting more trees in some areas would definitely help the curb appeal not to mention shade for campers. Spots on the highway 50 side (where they are expanding the park) could really use some trees to replace the dead/dying and missing trees. Lots of potential for the park. Would come back but definitely would consider other places also. Convenient place to camp when visiting the Nevada Northern Railway Museum and rail yard.
