General Campground Information

Fire Rules

For a complete list of fire safety rules, please click here. Due to city ordinance, not all sites are allowed to have fire pits, please be sure to reserve a fire pit site or contact the office to reserve one for your camping experience.

Minimum Age

There must be a responsible person 21 years or older to register your site and there must be a responsible person over the age of 21 staying on the site for the entire stay.

Pet Policy

Dallas KOA is pet-friendly! We offer two dog parks; one for our larger four-legged friends, and one for our smaller four-legged friends. We also have pet friendly cabin accommodations available.
We comply with the City of Arlington pet ordinance, which states that all animals be on leash and no animal is to be leashed or tethered outside unattended, also no more than three dogs per site/accommodation will be allowed. We encourage you to utilize our spacious dog parks your furry friend can roam and run.

Check in/out times

Check-in time is 3:00pm
Check-out time is Noon

Quiet Hours

Our quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During non-quiet times, please be respectful of your neighboring campers. Excessive drinking, noise and foul language will not be allowed.

Office Hours

Our office is open from 8am-5pm daily.

Visitor Policy

Visitors to your registered site must pay $5.00 per person fee. Guests 5 years old and under are free, however we have a max of 6 visitors per site. Please have your guests check in at the office prior to going to your site. Visiting hours end at 10:00 pm.

Pool Hours

The pool is open 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
Pool may close during inclement weather.
Due to COVID 19 policies and precautions, we ask that guests maintain social distancing as well as respecting the 50% occupancy at the pool at any given time.  This allows for 16 people in the pool and 16 people on the pool deck at one time.

Meet Your Hosts

Ted Stevens

Welcome your Dallas Arlington KOA's host, Ted Stevens!

Ted spent 30 years as an insurance company VP before retiring in 2015. He hit the road in his motor home with his mini dachshund, Cece, first exploring the west from the Dakotas to San Diego.  He his first work kamper job in the summer of 2016 at the Saco/Old Orchard Beach KOA in Saco, ME.  Then went on to work at Oceanside KOA in Bar Harbor, ME and Virginia Beach KOA.  In between summers with KOA, he enjoyed spending time enjoying his lifelong passion, skiing. Working in the ski school for Vail Resorts in Breckenridge, CO and Park City, UT was a dream come true.  In October 2018 he went full time working for KOA as the Assistant Manager at the Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks KOA Resort, soon after being promoted to Operations Manager in January 2020 which solidified his knowledge running campgrounds.  He enjoys travel and thrives on change! He has visited 32 countries, has lived in nine states, and has been to every state except Arkansas. If you see Ted around the campground, be sure to say hi and let him know what fine state you're visiting from!
