Stayed overnight in a tent spot. Tent sites are very small, and very close together. Our site did not have a picnic table, and the nearby site that did had very little space for a tent. Firewood bundles did not include sufficient kindling to easily get a fire started, especially in the damp conditions which existed at the time. I would not recommend this location for tent camping.

The owner was so sweet and welcoming! I did have to call the cops Sunday morning around 830-9 because a man in a red SUV with a large white Huxley was screaming profanities as his wife and throwing his camping gear in the dumpster. I was worried for the dog and woman’s safety.

Everything was clean, well organized and well run. Having cats and kittens near the office was a wonderful plus. Made me miss my cats less while traveling.

Great location for our annual Memorial Day trip! The Ice cream social on Saturday night is a nice touch. Plumbing could use some updating, but functional.

The laundry room was dirty and several cats lived there. We could not use it. The tent sites are rather small and really close to each other. The wifi was good. The bathrooms are a little bit old but clean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Well the cats don't "live there" but we did have a stray outdoor cat show up and being the animal lover I am I did take her babies in until they go to homes.

Very nice place. Clean, well-lit without being too bright, quiet, had the requisite train nearby (it's not camping without hearing one) nice folks in office. Gave it a 4 because the tent sites didn't seem to be level enough, and it was tricky for me to figure out how to park. So glad I arrived in the daylight! Loved the space between sites, and the tent area being sort of close to the rest room.

Great location and it looks like they try to appeal to all types of travelers…but….there are permanent residences of broken down trailers, what appears to be non running motor homes on the property. By the time we did a little walk around, we were disenchanted. The women’s bathroom smelled like backed up sewage. Very sad, but do not feel we got our money’s worth.

We only have 5 monthly campers, out of the 60 sites and they all run and work just fine :) the womens bathroom has an issue when people do not flush accordingly. we are on city sewer but it needs to reach the main at the highway, a couple flushes takes care of the issue. but people don't flush enoug

Stayed in the tent area. We did not use any hookups. The site was perfect, the people are great. It is a wonderful campground.

We had stayed at this campground several times in the past, as it's in a convenient location after a day's travel from our home. This time was no different, the campground was as usual clean, quiet, and offering a number of amenities. We enjoyed our night of tent camping and were happy to have visited this familiar location once more.

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
