Friendly staff. Nice secluded area. Bathrooms and showers need work. Missing tiles, not real clean. Trains every 3 hours all night blasting their horns. We finally got up and left at 4am.

the train sits back about 1.5 miles behind the campground, but yes they do go by and nothing I can control :)

The people were very kind and friendly so why the low rating? The bathrooms need updating, the office was dark and unkept with a vacuum in the middle of the room with the cord extended. The washers and dryers are only available when the office is opened. It is okay place to stop if just for overnight. They do not escort to site or pick up trash.

I would have rated 10 and 5, but the hourly trains and multiple alarms from 1st responders (2x’s overnight and 2x’s the next morning) did not nothing to help my wife sleep peacefully. I, on the other hand, slept like a baby. This is no fault of the KOA; they were friendly and efficient, the sites were nice, fairly level and well shaded. The picnic tables could use some attention.

Loved the trees. Sites nicely spaced. We didn't have children nor pets this time so those areas were not used but seemed adequate.

This is a “rustic” journey campground. It is well positioned for trips we take, and the owner is a really great person. I can’t say enough about her. I’ve been staying here regularly for over a decade. It’s usually stop and then keep going, but I always feel welcome.

Nice campground for overnight stay. My only complaint was the owners dog barking everytime someone walked or drove by. Very annoying.

We love it here. The front office is covered in beautiful plants and my kids love the cats. This place is well kept up, clean. The pool is beautiful. Spots are always tidy and the playground is nice.

I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. But our stay was nice, the camp sites were clean and well kept, it was quiet and enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly. The only thing I would like to have had was a better variety of foods and supplies in the store, and perhaps organized activities, crafts or games. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wou

Site 39 is VERY undeveloped. Had to raise the trailer 6” on water/electric side to level the trailer. And for $60 per night, I expect better!

Clean, great amenities, nice sized lots, no overhanging low trees, pleasantly small like I prefer. Peaceful and worry-free camping.

We spent one nite here on our way to SD, and two nites on our way home. Nice campground; the sites have many trees and are quite pretty. Some highway noise and a train in the distance, but not too distracting. We needed some boards under the left side of our 5th wheel, but we came prepared!

Phone calls never returned, for the money not worth the price, sewer cap connection broken off at the ground. Access into the campground basically one lane and awkward.

Office staff was professional. Grounds needs tidied up. Doors, screens windows laying around. Dog run fence needs repair .

A little bit tight for 40 foot and over Class A motorhomes. Lovely tree canopy. Clean pool. Friendly staff. No satellite due to trees.

Treed campground with gravel leveled spots. Friendly staff. Shaded pet area and room to walk your dog away from campsites. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Showers could use a little updating.

The campground itself was terrific. Well kept. Fairly quiet. The campsite we were in was not very level. And the customer service was lacking. We called to get a reservation and had to leave a message. Never received a call back so reserved online. Called again to make sure all was good and again had to leave a message and never got a call back.

The check in lady was very nice. We had plans at another campground but they had to cancel because they had no water or electricity from the storm. So this koa was very nice of them to have a full hookup site for us just for one night. The place is very well taken care of. Loved seeing the cats and dog when we checked in.

Great location, you travel about a quarter mile off the main road which makes it a quiet, peaceful campground, making it feel like you are miles from anything but there you are like a hidden oasis. We were a late arrival but our reservation was completed and an intuitive map guided us to our site after dark. We did not get a chance to try it but the pool looked clean!
