Understand you had just opened for season but 1st thing we saw when in campground going to site. Was an old run down non maintained trailer and car next to clubhouse. In a site. Also get sites mowed and weed trimmed before opening

Hello :) The trailer is a camper we are in the process of gutting and restoring (inside has already been gutted) then the outside new siding. You could have asked me :) As far as mowing, it has been done since we opened,however it has rained every day the past 10 days so have made mowing difficult

People were great and helpful. Site needed grass cut and spray for bugs.

Yes they mowing has been hard since we have had rain almost every day the past 2 weeks! we can't stand the long grass either :(

We found this KOA expensive with no cable and WiFi that didn’t work well. Had to wait till last evening to have our extremely long grass cut. Many old run down trailers permanently parked here. Nice staff but someone with cat allergies should stay away at least 7 in the office. This park could be a nice park if it was better maintained.

Bathroom has plumbing issues. In the men’s room one of the two toilets didn’t flush and the shower sprayed everywhere. But the real problem is the very young kids whizzing around unsupervised on bicycles, not watching for traffic. One kid was on an electric bike that was extremely low and each day we were there he scooted in front of us from nowhere. We were lucky not to hit him.

We love coming here! We love the shop with all the kitties, it’s peaceful yet right off the highway, the kids have so much open space to play!

We have been stopping overnight on our way down south for 4 years and on our way back north. This time had a little trouble with our surge protector ground fault error but plugged into 50 Amp and not 30 Amp okay. Next year on our way back north may stay for a few days. Nice fenced in dog area.

Not impressed, loud music well after midnight and no one to monitor. Looks like an abandoned trailer park made into a KOA, office, no one there just cats. Many permanent campers that I am guessing have not n been towed out of there in years

Loud music? I wish you would have mentioned that to the office,we would have addressed the camper it was coming from!! abandoned campers? we have 3 people that store their campers on sites and live in surrounding states and camp on weekends in the summers. and 2 that we are in process of remodeling

I was able to reserve a site last minute and they accommodated me close to the restroom. The campground is quiet and relaxing, easy to locate and drive into. The restroom was very clean and well kept which is very important for me. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. I would recommend this KOA for any camper. I had drive thru and full hookup. I was a very happy camper. Thank you

Owner is very nice! While camping here in 2023, we found out my father passed away in the middle of the night. We packed up our camper first thing in the morning to go be with family and called...She offered to credit our stay for a future visit. I showed in 2024 and she remembered me and honored her word. We like this campground very much and love it's proximity to 2 very great state parks.

No cable, office building shabby, pool in poor shape. Site was convenient. Level. Land shaping was well groomed. Easy in and out.

Shower curtains could be lowered with hooks so curtain would fall inside shower stall to help keep as much water from getting on floor

The spaces were okay, bathrooms were okay, pool was not in service yet. People behind the desk were great.

I found myself living in my camper because I left my life in Michigan to be with my sister as she was on hospice with cancer. I ended up staying here for over a week. The staff was fantastic, Cowboy, Jamie, and Dakota were the nicest and most helpful people, and they were patient and worked with us. Very down to earth. They are animal lovers which was great for me. They were always available, the camp was always clean and landscaped nice. The store was stocked and has lots of fun things in it, including essential oils. The pool was freshly painted and well maintained. It was a little sad for us to have to leave, definitely will be bringing the kids back!
