The campground was clean and comfortable. The online reservations were good. However, we had to make a change in schedule and cancel one night. The instructions for canceling only gave the option of a phone call to the campground. I left numerous voice mails, and texts, but the response only came in a text after the 48 hour deadline to cancel. please answer your phone. thanks for the refund.

A little disorganized. On verge of needing some improvements. Bathhouse had inadequate ventilation - no windows. No strong fans.

Sites are tight. Pool was closed in summer. Staff is friendly and it is a pretty place.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you had read the sign on the office door AND the pool gate door you would have seen the pool was closed for 2 days to do a minor repair.

Grounds were well maintained. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Facilities were clean. Very relaxing. Will likely stay there again!

Easy Check in and Check out, the people that work there are very friendly. Beautiful sites as they were adding fresh mulch, sod and lime stone to some of the sites. Very shaded, nice pull through spots for bigger rigs. Nice dog park and play area for the kids. Pool was refreshing and close enough to Turkey Run and Shades We will be back and have spread the word to our friends.

An older gentleman with a white beard was extremely rude, yelled at us for parking on the grass instead of on gravel behind the cabin. This is our 12th KOA cabin rental. We’ve parked on grass (at another location), no issues. I know every campground has own rules. He could have simply talked to us. We will NOT be staying at this campground again.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Site was shaded and adequate, but was not very level (i.e. required jacks to lift motorhome wheels off ground in order to level). There appeared to be several long term residents who did not control their dogs from barking after quiet hours, which made for a long night. Campground was okay, but it would not be my first choice if staying in the area again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I wish you would have talked to office staff. The dogs barking on the site next to you was only here for 2 weeks. Their check out date was yesterday the 24th and they pulled out. They had 3 German Shepherds, but were not long term.

When my 2 granddaughters were petting the dog in the office, one of the workers told them that the dog they were petting peed in his mouth. Then he told them that if he didn’t get a hug everyday from the dog (he pointed to a carved statue of big foot or something) and said he would look like that in the morning running around naked. Who says that…to anyone??? At 1AM, we heard 5 gunshots.

Nice campground. This was our second visit. But they do have a problem in the women's bathroom. There is a rather strong sewer smell that needs attention.

Have stayed many times. This time was as good as we are used to: welcoming Staff, well-maintained grounds, comfortable spaces.

Everything was great. Just the other campers who left their dog unattended and it barked for hours nonstop. But thanks for doing what you could. Shame on those dog owners.

Disappointing KOA, bathrooms very out dated, extremely dirty, and the floor in the showers are unsafe. It felt like there were long term RV campers staying there. A lot of loud campers and didn’t respect the quiet time hours. I would only recommend it for RV travelers that have their own showers in their RV’s. On a positive note the staff was amazing, friendly, and kind!

Had an easy check in. Had our favorite site. Pool was not open, but it had been cool. Did not have a jumping pillow like other KOA's we have stayed at. Front desk is very friendly. Had ice cream socials two nights and free donuts and coffee two mornings. This KOA is just not as nice as many we have stayed at.Overall , had a good time.

We were in a 41 ft Class A & thought the place was nice. The lady was super nice and loved her kitties. The only feedback is the turns are a little tight making limbs scrape the sides. I feel the limbs need to be trimmed up 14 ft and away from roads. No one likes their RV scratched when it’s preventable.

Worst KOA I have ever seen. The office was disgusting, cat and dog urine on the floor, half eaten potato on the counter, smelled terrible. Very old permanent rvs in park falling apart, owners dogs barking 24/7. Bathrooms were filthy with leaking shower pipes spraying the ceiling. Would not stay here again.

cat and dog urine on the floor? I don't see anything at all like that. half eaten potato was my dinner getting ate in between customers sorry that offended you. as far as permanent campers we have 5 of them and their campers are not falling apart however some of them are older.

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
