Good location for access to Indianapolis and local Crawfordsville attractions like the rotary jail and General Wallace house. The campground is clean with a friendly staff. I would caution people with huge rigs that the travel lanes are narrow with many trees, some with low branches.

The campsites and grounds were nice, level and lots of trees. The staff member we interacted with was quite nice and the location is good. The negative was the office/registration area. We walked in to a rather cluttered office to be greeted by 8 free roaming cats and a dog. The area was quite cluttered and there were rubber bins stacked high in the laundry. Both those areas were uninviting!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The rubber bins, were food storage containers that got dropped off and en route to the storage closet :) our office dog is Romeo and he greets everyone since he was 12 weeks old, he is now 7 years old :) he will always be our office greeter

Absolutely beautiful facilities, you have a great treasure in this park and it's plain to see you realize it. It was nice to see the pool open later than many other parks. Very nice location for closeness to many things to see and do. It was like a private forest in the heart of town! I couldn't hang out in the store with you as I have bad cat allergy, but it was clear the kitties are loved.

I am not sure how this is a KOA. When arriving the entrance to the office was very junky. The office reeked of cat litter box. I could barely breathe in the short time it took us to check-in. The site was okay but the bathrooms also were very bad.

Very friendly front staff Heavily wooded sites A watch out, entry/exit road has a dip I watched a 42 foot fifth wheel drag it’s rear end leaving the park My 45ft Class A towing a Jeep was ok leaving. Still the asphalt shows a lot of “gauges”

One of the nicest KOAs we have found. Stayed an extra night to enjoy it. Nice pond and nature trail. Dogs loved the puppy enclosure. The site is nice and shaded off at the edge of the campground. Will stay here again when we pass this way.

Just 1 night, would love to stay longer. This campground is adorable ! Lots of fun and unique vegetation and plants, excellent tree and shrub coverage with excellent grooming.

Very nice managers there. Went above and beyond. Only complaint we had was there's no fishing. But had a great stay.

Lovely, friendly hardworking owner. Park is always clean and quiet. Sites are mostly level and need very little to get level. We have stayed a few times and never regret it.

Some observations: The people were very nice. I switched sites when we first arrived because our sewer connection was too high. The next site had useable connections and was more level. There were some obviously abandoned campers in the campground. They did not have enough trash dumpster capacity for the very busy Labor Day weekend.

Thank You for the observations I wish you would have came to talk to me, the 3 campers that look empty 2 of them are up for sale so display for people to view them. and 1 of them is storage he lives in Chicago and camps in it once or twice a month. As for dumpster it gets emptied evvery Fri and Mons

4 stars due to the amount of mosquitos. We have stayed at many KOA campgrounds and this was, by far, the worst mosquito run-in we've had. Also, the amount of animals in the camp store felt a little unsanitary. The grounds were good for camping, just not 5 stars. Thank you for your friendliness during our stay!

This campground is amazing! Everything is kept so nice, newly graveled parking spots, well maintained lawn & flower beds, bathroom/shower house so clean. We love this campground!! Even with a super late arrival, they made everything so easy!

I will never stay at this KOA again, and that also goes with the Friends that were traveling with us as they felt the same way.

Wow. all because YOU made the mistake of NOT booking a full hookup with sewer site. Your wife came down to office and apologized for YOU on the way you acted towards me. You were the one that did not reserve a sewer site, you made the reservation online yourself. That is NOT my fault!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a couple of options for our site. It was very quiet at night despite being close to the highway. The sites are very well maintained. The wifi was excellent probably the best we have had at a campground in awhile. I would stay there again.

Never again!!! I have stayed at this KOA in the past with no issues. This time was much different! Mostly, the ladies restroom smelled horrible. Over-flowing toilet and literally feces in the shower! I went to the office to tell them, but the office was locked (at 9:45am). Called, no answer. Emailed, no response. And no help in sight. NEVER have I experienced any nastier bathroom anywhere!

Hello :) the over flowing toilet happens in public bathrooms, as far as the feces in the shower our cleaning staff felt it was a kid that had an accident, altho the parent should have cleaned it up. I am sure you saw the hours posted on the front office door that states we open at 10am

It was just overnight but it was nice to finally have a nice clean fairly level well taken care of after 4 other mud holes at the last few KOA’s we have stayed in .

We were only here about 15 hours but the place was very nice. The sites were pretty compact. I was a little worried that we would not have room to pull out because of some big rigs a crossed from us but we made it. We did not take advantage of the swimming pool but that was nice. The dump and trash were convenient on the way out of the park. This was literally right off the freeway.

Stayed four nights while visiting family in the area. Nice campground. Pool needs some resurfacing, but that may be planned for the winter, I didn’t ask. The park is older, but well maintained. Sites are well shaded. We will stay there next trip to Indiana as well.

This was our third time staying at the KOA in Crawfordsville and we have enjoyed each visit. It’s a nice peaceful campground with lots of shade trees and a great location near the town itself and just a shirt drive off the expressway. Very friendly staff who have always welcomed us and will go out of their way to please.

Friendly staff and the store was well stacked. This is especially a nice place during the hot months, because each site has full shade from the trees. A good over night stay and we would stay again. I marked it slight down, because out of the last 20 KOA’s we have stayed at, these were perhaps the worse showers. Not because of filth, but because of the water pressure and shower head.

The entire campground being in the shade made it nice. As typical KOA there was little space between each site. Staff was nice, hookups were OK except the sewer is all the way to the back of our site and I did not have enough hose to reach it. Sewer should be mid way in a pull thru!

Hello :) If you stay with us again, just ask front office for a DUAL sewer site, those sites have front and rear sewer drops :)

There are too many bushes planted at the ends of sites which make it difficult for big rigs to turn without getting into the bush. There are 3 cats in the office while cute, they were all around me as I looked so if I was allergic it would be bad news. The KOA is older so sites and roads are smaller.

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
