A little tight for big rigs, but a really friendly staff and extremely convenient location!

Great location and it looks like they try to appeal to all types of travelers…but….there are permanent residences of broken down trailers, what appears to be non running motor homes on the property. By the time we did a little walk around, we were disenchanted. The women’s bathroom smelled like backed up sewage. Very sad, but do not feel we got our money’s worth.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We only have 5 monthly campers, out of the 60 sites and they all run and work just fine :) the womens bathroom has an issue when people do not flush accordingly. we are on city sewer but it needs to reach the main at the highway, a couple flushes takes care of the issue. but people don't flush enoug

No frills campground. Pool was nice. Most lots are uneven and “rocked”. Women’s restroom apparently had a horrible smell (none of the ladies would use it, only used the RV bathroom). Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall nice campground to relax. Need to address womens restroom.

After a long day of driving 750 miles we arrived at Crawfordsville KOA. Everyone there was friendly, the grounds were well kept and clean. It was just what we needed after an exhausting day of driving.

Staff was friendly, nice dog park, the main negative was the awful sewer gas smell in the Women’s bathroom. It was clean but smell made it unusable.

The camp sites was littered with tree sticks. There was no one checking sites after people left and before new campers arrived. We also ended up leaving a day early due to drug use in the KOA. When we said something about it the lady in the office didn’t seam to care. This is by far the worst KOA we have ever stayed at.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You were in the office many times saying how nice everything was, you did not ONCE tell me that the camper across the road from you was smoking weed!! You told me that AT departure when you were leaving Had you told me BEFORE I would have went over there immediately and addressed the issue with them

There are some rather run-down old trailers and motorhomes on the property but otherwise it was pretty nice. Very friendly people and very accommodating. I like it.

Loved the shade trees and staff. Had big rainstorm and the lack of gravel at our site made it very muddy. Also had dead branches fall on trailer during storm.

This was our 2nd stay and again had a very nice trip. The proximity to Crawfordsville is excellent and not too far off the highway either. Our only issue during each visit is getting satellite service because if the dense trees. They are great for shading the sites which we also enjoyed but just thought we would mention it. Water, electric and sewer connections all convenient.

Stopped in Crawfordsville for a couple of days on the way from Alabama to Illinois. Overall the park is nice and shady with fairly level spots. The office/laundry room was a bit confusing. The laundry is open when the office is open and doesn't require quarters (you pay the office per load). If the office should happen to close during the day your clothes are locked in until they come back.

My only complaint was the office smelled horribly of human urine. I could tell there was pets in the back, which is fine, however I had seen cat litter boxes in the open and was unsure if the urine smell was cat or human. But it was for sure urine. It was really unpleasant. I live on a small hobby farm and deal with animals and their urine and poop all the time, however this was unbearable.

Super nice people running the Koa. Campground was quiet even though it was pretty full. Only downside is the sites were not very level and you had little room between sites that didn’t give space to set up outside items. If you have a big rig it is a tight turn to get in and out so no amateur drivers like me! LOL. We still enjoyed the campground and will return when in the area!

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
