I did not have a reservation. It was late when I pulled in. There were clear instructions on how to locate an available site which I chose and parked my rv in. I didn't know how much the night would cost so I called the manager. He answered right away, gave me the nightly rate (as a KOA member) as well as offering to open the store if I needed anything. Very accomodating!

The site had ant hillls everywhere no see m everywhere and an empty pool

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

These mounds that are around the whole campground with little pellets surrounding them are not ants. They are actually earth worms. They like to be 12 inches below ground but can't because the clay level is at approx 5 inches. Pool opens Memorial Day Weekend. Sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

The staff members here were great. The park is clean and well maintained. The WIFI was poor with a download speed on 1mps. I would stop here again.

We stay at this campground frequently on our war to or from Florida. It keeps getting better and you can tell the staff and owners care about the park. The sites are level and neat and the staff is great.

The grounds are not kept up. Ants everywhere you step. Shower/restrooms dated. Very friendly and helpful employee. I would not come back.

The site that I was put on had a 2 foot drop to the next site, trying to set up and break down was not only inconsiderate in your site planning it was not safe at all.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is no "2 foot drop" any where on this campground. You were on a 70 foot site that is at least 45 foot wide. Front to back is about a 4" difference from front to back and no one has ever had a problem that you have stated. Maybe your reviewing and rating another campground. Thanks, Bob

This is the perfect KOA for an overnight stay. The campground is peaceful, bathrooms clean and staff friendly. We stayed heading north on I75 from Florida as well as south heading home.

Toilets are so short I thought I was in a kindergarten classroom. That is a real problem for someone with mobility issues. Also no grab bars in any stalls. Otherwise everything was great

I've always rated this KOA as a 5. Always will. Not because it's the best place on the planet. It's because it is convenient, and the Manager (Bob) goes over and above the call of duty. They are developing the adjacent dilapidated truck stop now - which means increased noise and challenges to some of the local infrastructure. They are working 7 days a week - least what we say this week. Good luck.

I booked a full hookup 30/50 and after completing our set up the power was not working properly. They then moved us to a water! electric only site and only refunded one half of one nights stay! The park was poorly taken care of, debris and junk all around. If I had never stayed at a KOA before I would not ever want to stay at one again!

After reviewing your reservation. You booked it online and did it for water/power not full hookup. We tried to accommodate your request for full hookup but I'm sorry that it did not work out. "Mess" behind office is from ongoing store /site work.

Store poorly stocked and clerks not friendly. Did not greet when arrived asked last name and demanded payment. Gave a map and code for restroom and didn’t speak again too worried about puppy holding.

I truly am sorry that your stay was not pleasant. This past week I've been working on a infrastructure problem caused by the construction next door. She seemed to have dropped the ball and is no longer with us. Store does have shortcomings I'm trying to correct. Again I'm sorry about your stay. Bob

Site was level, staff was nice, but campground didn’t appear to be well maintained. Lots of weeds, some tall grass and some things in disrepair - the seat on our picnic table was actually secured with zip ties. Doubtful that we’ll stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

Your site was mowed. Open and green spaced not mowed due to a harsh winter and bees needed flowers more than ever. No Excuse for other problems that you listed. Sorry Bob

Place needs TLC. Was really surprised. Grass needed cutting. Power pedestal was very old and had a rusty lid. Just felt like no one cared about the place. It's run down. We were in site 25 and it was fairly level it was a gravel site and they did pick up the trash at your site for you.

Sorry but we have not mowed the green spaces yet but the bees needed the flowers. We have tried to weed eat and mow where needed. Infrastructure problems caused by construction next door has caused a lack of general maintenance at the campground. No excuse for other things listed.

I checked in after hours and the individuals who work there met me within a few minutes. They helped me check in promptly and escorted me to my site all of this after hours. They were very informative and helpful.

Very easy to navigate near and around the KOA. Bib and his wife were very accomodating. We were able to move our site as we wanted to be in more shade. No push back. We had an issue with one of our slides not popping out, walked down to the office to get a number for a tech to come out. Bob asked to take a look first and pinpointed the issue right away. The fuse was blown and all it took was a 30amp fuse and we were back in business. We really appreciated Bob for helping us out and learned something along the way.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, tiene muchos árboles con mucha sombra, hay duchas y baños afuera. Hay una estación para cargar balones de gas licuado. Tiene cuarto de lavadoras dentro de la oficina en general muy tranquilo y tienen servicio de recogida de la basura para las motorhome y las R V.
