From the West: take I-90 to exit 30 to State Rt 28 South for approximately 12 miles to US 20. Stay on State Rt 28, and do not turn off until you get to US 20 (disregard GPS). Turn Left onto US 20 East. Travel about 7 miles and turn Left at KOA sign onto McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground at 565 Ostrander Road.
From the East: take I-90 to I-88 West. I-88 to Exit 24 to US 20 West. You will see signs directing you to turn right on McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground entrance at 565 Ostrander Road.
From the South: take I-88 East to Exit 17, Cooperstown. Turn left at the exit and take State Rt 28 North. The road will merge with NY 80 East in town. Continue on NY 80 East to US 20. Make a left on US 20, and follow signs to McShane Road. Turn right on McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground entrance at 565 Ostrander Road.

Did you know that the KOA is not just for Rving and tenting? The Cooperstown KOA has many different options for lodging.
Our rustic cabins are for those looking for a more "off the grid" experience. They come equipped with a full bed and a set of bunk beds. A small table and chair are provided as well. They do not have bathrooms or linens, but are conveniently located near to our bathrooms and showers. Pet friendly.
The Couples Cabin is one of our Rustic Cabins with a twist. It come with a full sized bed, a set of drawers, small table, and a chair. There is also a patio, fire pit, and table set on the outside. This is a perfect weekend getaway for a couple or a single. The couples cabin also does not have linens or a bathroom. Pet friendly.
The Studio cabin is perfect for a small family. The main room is equipped with a queen bed, table and chairs, a small refrigerator, and microwave. Linens are provided. Off to the side there is a room with bunkbeds for the kiddos and a full bathroom. Outside is a perfect place to hang out around the firepit or on the porch that looks out over the campground. Sometimes the cows next door will come to the fence and say hi. Pet friendly.
The Cozy Cottage is set up for a little more privacy. The queen bed is in its own separate room, while in the living room there is a futon for hanging out with the family. There is also a table and chairs, mini fridge, microwave, and sink in the kitchen. The kitchen is also equipped with a kuerig for your morning coffee. The bunkroom and bathroom are situated on the opposite side of the cabin from the queen bedroom. French doors open onto the living room, providing plenty of natural light. Pet Friendly.
Around the cabin circle lies our log cabins. Three of these are equipped with queen beds in private quarters, twin bunkbeds and a futon. Full private bathrooms, kitchen with fridge, microwave, keurig, table and chairs and a fire pit. Linens are provided. Some are pet friendly while others are not. Let us know and we can help you out with your reservation. Otherwise, booking online and selecting a pet will help with this as well. One of our lodges on the cabin circle is also equipped with a large deck to enjoy the night air or the daytime breezes.
The fourth cabin on the cabin circle is our Mobility Friendly cabin. The cabin is equipped with wider doors, a wider bathroom, assist handles in the bathroom, and a ramp. In the living room is a full sized futon topped with a bunk for an extra child. Linens are provided. Outside is a firepit and a charcoal grill as well.
The Patio cabin by the field sleeps up to 6, features a large deck, glider, and campfire area. Private bath. Kitchenette with dinnerware, glassware, silverware, microwave, refrigerator/freezer. Linens provided. Charcoal grill and firepit are perfect for smores and grilling out.
