I’m sorry. This KOA was not worth the money we paid. The next night we stayed at a NY koa and they actually brought us to our campsite and picked up the trash the next day. You didn’t.

Customer service is excellent. Very easy and friendly. Our spot was level and a nice size . The bathhouse was modern, clean and plenty of hot water. The rec center was large and well lit. We played a board game while there. Nice laundromat. We do not have small children but we saw a group of young ones playing on a bounce pad with their parents. It looked like fun. The store was well stocked.

Great overnight stay heading north. Adventurous drive from 64 to the campground. Close to Monticello and we’ll make time during next years trip to visit the area attractions.

Quiet facility and friendly staff. However the grounds could use updating and maintenance.

Site was not level. Little gravel on these. It would be prudent to inform the guests of information related to the KOA. The code to the restroom, shower and laundry. Not all KOA’s have locked amenities. Where the trash goes and if there is a pickup from the site daily. There is not at Charlottesville. The clerk was busy with personal matters.

A smaller, family run KOA. Super clean, well laid out amd incredibly friendly hosts!! The sites were spacious and clean. The campground was close to amenities and quiet quiet despite being along a rural road. My only complaint (?) with our site was it was almost on top of the camp road/walking path which made it feel like our site was part of the path when they walked/drove directly toward/behi

Awesome campground!

It was only overnight. Further from I-64 than we would of liked.

Great for my wife and I. It was small and quiet. Close to hiking and wine tasting If I were there with small kids and expecting to spend a lot of time at the campground this would have not been the place. Like I said for us it was great. Would go back.

We love the location. We love the compact size of this campground. Also close to our family and friends. Sites are long and easy to get in and out.

We like the location as it is close to several wineries and Historical sites. The campground itself could use some updating. There are places, especially around the pool area that are overgrown and needs to be cleaned up. Some sites are not clearly defined because of the grass growing through the gravel. The wifi is good and the utilities were in good working order. Overall it was a good stay

large sites, Lots of shade and quiet.

Office Staff was very friendly and the location to the local wineries is perfect. Its a very small campground and was very quiet. The sites are not level but because we only stayed a couple nights, it was okay. We would go back.

The family run aspect and the attention to guest needs were second to none. We were stranded at a local winery with secret service present urging us to leave and not an uber to be had. The owner personally came out and rescued us in our time of need to bring us back. We can’t thank them enough! The grounds were well kept and the nature trail was a hit with my husky.

Very quiet campground off the beaten path in VA. Windy 55mph road to get there. Locals know it well and you can tell by how they drive. Site was decent enough with gravel base. Pricey as compared to other koas with few amenities. VA campgrounds though conveniently open in early winter and spring, leave a lot to be desired.

This was our first visit to the Charlottesville KOA; we spent 4 nights on our way north. Although the interior roads seemed narrow with tricky curves, the layout made for easy driving. Even though it was close to 95% full during most nights of our visit, it was a quiet experience. Loved that there was little to no light pollution so star gazing was satisfying. Our dog loved the nature trail.

The BEST of all KOA's.

Ashley was very helpful and informative of the area. Campsite was clean and very accommodating.

very quiet little campground. there was nothing wrong with it and we enjoyed our stay. however, for the price we paid, I expected a little more room between sites. this seemed more like a journey than a holiday.while it was 9 miles from 64, i've stayed at other journeys with more room and grass between the sites.

Check in was easy and pleasant. Sites were great - lots of pull throughs! Quiet campground. Nice nature trail to stretch my legs. Very convenient to Monticello and downtown Charlottesville (about 20 minutes to both).

Nice campground with decent space between sites. Since it's the second oldest KOA there are plenty of grown trees with shade. Great place for a quiet relaxing stay.
