Such a sweet little park that looks so sad. It wouldn’t take much to make it shine. Just some basic lawn maintenance so you could see where your site is amongst the weeds So much poison oak we didn’t dare try the nature trail. Paying more $ than any park we stayed at in all of NY.

First time here, awesome weekend, very nice quiet campground..... which we love. only one thing is campground needs some weed eating and cuting some trees/limbs back around the campground, make it a bit more appealing, but overall was awesome. we will defo be back. thanks

Clean, quiet, used park as one night stop. Provided what we needed.

Newly remodeled bathrooms, that’s about it. The entire campground looked like it hadn’t been touched since the 60’s. The whole place was run down and tired, definitely not worth the price they’re charging. Very disappointing for a KOA.

Sites are large and campground is quieter than most which is nice for us older campers. My only issue is that there are no trash cans, not even in the dog park which we found odd. Guess no one wants to empty trash bins.

Nice small campground, clean and well maintained. Nice staff and helpful. Will stay again. However: pool is in remote rear area, dump station at narrow entrance, main road access is dangerous due to bend 100 yds from right turn into campground (mirror across road helps some), no trash pick up at sites.

Pricey, like all KOAs. 3 patio sites but 2 of them are very small. If it wasn't for the patio, you'd have very little room otherwise. Lots of poison ivy near our site. Wifi was good. Walking in the park was good. OTA TV reception was good. Verizon signal was iffy. Laundry facilities were good although it took 2 dryer runs to dry clothes. Gravel sites. We had a tree limb fall on us.

Advertised dog park, and only small fenced area with two chairs. Not mowed, trail not kept up and over grown. Vines and weeds on fence around pool. Sites are too to close! Fire pit almost on road not nice to sit that close to road and picnic tsble too. Site hook ups not in middle but agwin camper needed pulled till nose at road to reach hookups. Over all older campground in need of some updates!

Clean and quiet with lots of shade. Laundry and propane onsite was handy. Relatively close to Monticello and other POI’s.

My only complaint is that the handicapped restroom was closed our entire stay.

One night but well organized. Exactly what you'd expect from a KOA!

Campground is very well run bathrooms are extremely clean and well maintained. The campground offers many amenities from pool to outdoor activities. We would definitely return.

Very nice. The campsites are not all jammed up together and are nicely wooded. Everything about the reservation and check-in process was very smooth.

This campground needs some maintenance. Grass and weeds everywhere. Out of their control is the tightness of their roads. We were there to visit Trump Winery and Jefferson Winery. Many other wineries close by. We did leave a day early and they gave me a refund for that one day even though I didn’t ask for that. Thank you for that

Best KOA we've been to.

Good trip

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the trees and bushes need to be trimmed back so the RV does not get scratched and would have loved a heated pool.

I think friendliness goes a long way when it comes to customer satisfaction. I would have to say that the campground was fair but the gal at the check in counter makes me want to never stay there again. Very unfriendly place.

Quiet, peaceful, serene location. Conveniently located near Charlottesville and other areas south that are spectacular destinations; wineries, cideries, breweries, distilleries, National Forest, historical sites, waterfalls, cool hikes and more. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist with anything. Always a friendly smile and nice amenities.

Very clean, good amenities, kind and helpful staff.
May 18, 2026
Very clean restrooms and showers. Just what I was needing before a long drive home.
May 18, 2026
Nice smaller park, clean bathrooms, friendly staff but expensive for a one night stay.

Holiday KOA in Charlottesville met all our expectations and needs. Our site was spacious, the restrooms were private and immaculate, and it was easy access to tourist areas and wineries.

The location off the beaten path and quite. Check roads coming in some are very winding. Big rig problems. Very nice early season camping . Friendly staff. We were parked away from others so hard to chat and meet others . Good location for winery and brew visits. Trump winery just a short distance the best one to visit . Fantastic views.

Nice campground with decent space between sites. Since it's the second oldest KOA there are plenty of grown trees with shade. Great place for a quiet relaxing stay.
