We loved our stay in Charlottesville KOA. We stayed one night and loved it so much we stayed another night. It is clean and quiet with many possible acitivities. We appreciated very much our accomadations near the office so my husband, who a week ago broke his toe, did not have far to walk to the shower. We both highly recommend staying here.

It's a nice well kept campground. We stayed during the week and was very quiet. We had a pull through with good space between sites. Lots of trees but still easy access. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a great pull through site and the staff was so friendly and helpful!

For the cost associated with KOA campgrounds, this location offers minimal activities. Over our holiday weekend stay, the only events were an ice cream social on Saturday and Sunday. Other KOAs we’ve visited provide diverse options like candy bar bingo and crafts. Families with children may find this lack of entertainment disappointing.

Friendly staff and the campground is very quiet. Sites are level!!

The campground is somewhat off the beaten path from I-64. Roads are windy and narrow at points to get to the KOA. We stayed at site 27. It was long enough for our 5th wheel and truck. It was not very wide. We were fortunate we had good neighbors. The bathrooms were clean. Some of the other common areas at the KOA are in need of updating. It was very quiet at night. Short ride to many attractions.

We were there for a week. The bathrooms were not cleaned the entire time we were there and probably hadn’t been cleaned for awhile before. I’m surprised people commented on immaculate bathrooms because we sure didn’t see it. Pool needs updating. Sites very weedy and most are unlevel. Not sure how this qualifies as a “holiday” resort, I’ve been to journeys that were way nicer and less e

Campground was very nice. the new site we were put on was excellent and very quiet except for having Gravel instead of a poured cement patio. That was the only thing we didnt like. The rock was hard on our feet and our dogs feet as well as a tripping hazard. Staff was freindly and very customer service oriented. Will be staying there again. Please do something about those rocks. :)

Our RV lot-site was perfect. Very level. The campsite was very clean, quiet and peaceful. Ashley in the store was friendly and very helpful, all the store staff were. The bathhouse was a nice feature. Beautiful area, we will be back.

Loved the site we had, #1, looking out at the woods. We had an issue with the outside drivers mirror on our rig and the owner fixed it for us. Later our microwave oven wasn’t getting power. Owner comes out and finds the 50 amp circuit breaker on the post was not working and he changed it. Great people, great campground!

Nice campground pleasent helpfull staff. Quite place site was large enough for our big rig (peterbilt and Carriage 5th) some tree need trimming so they do not touch passing RV's.

We to stay @ C'ville KOA on Memorial Day holiday. Great location due to proximity to Univ of VA, UVA medical & surgical centers, historical landmarks, viniculture, etc. The park is treed, typically quiet, & well kept. I book reservations in January. Our trip was cut short when husband fell ill. 2 negatives: needing access ?? code to use bathroom away from RV & lack of pet trash cans.

This KOA is unique in that it has spaces Parallel to the road and we faced the trees instead of another RV. We really loved it. Ask for space 1 or 3

Great extended weekend camping trip! The campground is easy to find and very close to Charlottesville and Monticello. Perfect location! The bathrooms were the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in a campground, nicer than a lot of hotels and Airbnb's! Thank you, Charlottesville KOA, for a great weekend!

Simple campground, but clean and nice stay! The sites were roomy and we enjoyed the paved surface around the fire pit. The bathrooms were super clean and spacious!

If you like off the beaten path then this is the place! So quiet and peaceful. Yes, it's miles off the interstate but that's what we wanted and loved. Our site was level and backed up into a beautiful scenic woods view. I really appreciated the call the day of arrival so we were sure to not follow our Garmin RV navigation system. You need to follow the directions from their website.

Very nice, quiet place (except for 2 obnoxious dogs that barked at anything that moved on site #40). Clean and well kept. Nice staff.

Small campground, off the beaten path. We enjoyed the peace & quiet, the nature trail, and the campground's proximity to Monticello. The grounds could use some attention. While the campground met our needs, the rating reflects the fact that it didn't have the KOA "Holiday" feel we are accustomed to.

Overnight stop for us in our small camper. It was a week day so not busy, but on weekends it could seem crowded as sites were rather close. Overall campground needed a little TLC—but big plus—probably the nicest campground bathroom/shower that we have ever seen-clean, roomy, secure and very private. Campground was also an easy drive to Monticello and Charlottesville attractions.

Great camping spot. It looks like all spots were roomy. We had a back in spot along the woods which was so private and serene and quiet, and very roomy. Even though it is a KOA, it has a small private campground feeling, almost like a state park but with additional amenities and full hookups. Bath houses were clean. Grounds were clean and well kept. Check-in staff was nice; process was easy. Camp store was well stocked. I'd stay there again. Close enough to Monticello and the Blue Ridge Parkway, but far enough away up in the mountains.
