We stayed in a cabin and it was very nice. We found the cabin to be clean, very roomy, bathroom was good size, the shower was roomy, with lots of pressure and hot water. Everything was exactly as it was listed. We will definitely stay there again.

I would rate it 4.5 if I was able to. The only complaint was the mattress. I was not very comfortable and I was not able to get a good nights sleep. But the cabin was great! If the mattress was fixed, I would definitely stay there again! The campground was fantastic and so was the employees! The employees were very helpful and professional. Please recognize them!

The cabin was clean and spacious. The campground was small but well kept. The game room was cool, but they should replace the broken pinball machine. I can only imagine how long that has been there out of order. The bed in the cabin was a bit "sinky", so not the most comfortable. Also the A/C unit was super loud every time it came on. It woke us up several times during the night.

We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin was fantastic, the kids loved the pool, the staff was great. If we lived closer, we'd love to come back and tent camp, the spots looked great.

Pool needs some attention. An option to rent dishes and cutlery would be helpful. Other than that, we had a great stay! The cabin was great. Thank you.

We loved our cabin and enjoyed sitting out at the fire pit. It was convenient to rafting and activities in town. Also we accidentally left a clothing item and they kindly let us know and mailed back to us. Will come again!

Stay was great....... registration office staff was personable. My recommendation from staying at other KOA campgrounds is a dish rack for the sink and dish towels which usually is included in "linens provided".

The cabin was clean but had a very strange odor. Very comfortable. Nice small campground. Pool was nice, but weird green paint color makes it look like it's full of algae. (It isn't, but paint color is questionable). My wife slipped and fell on one of the gravel roads and sliced her knee open which required 8 stitches to close and more than half a day of camping enjoyment lost. Amazing bathooms

Stayed in one of the cabins for a couple nights. It was a nice relaxing stop on a long motorcycle trip. I was able to visit Monticello and get some great pictures. Fairly convenient to stores for supplies, about 10 miles. Around the corner is a lazy day road which leads to some nice wineries. I will be back with my spouse to explore on the motorcycle a little more. Staff was great.

Staff was not very friendly at check in. Stayed in a deluxe cabin which had 2 older TV’s with no HDMI inputs and only given 1 remote with scotch tape to hold the batteries in it. Microwave was working intermittently, had to keep opening the door and shutting it again to make it work. I have been visiting your facility for years and it seems the place could use some updating considering the price

We rented one of the small, electric equipped cabins. It was my first time staying in this capacity at a KOA and it was really great. The cabin was clean & cozy. I had a late arrival and the team left a map for me at the office w/easy instructions to the cabin. Pool was nice! Staff was super helpful! The campground is easy to navigate and closely located to Charlottesville's downtown

Good stay/facilities. However, I had a bad slip and fall in the shower, upon stepping onto the wet shower surface. Twisted and fell right on my spine, but luckily no damage. I'd highly recommend added a simple hand rail along the shower wall and a rubber slip mat on the floor. Accidents happen, and while not every slip & fall can be prevented, small investments like that can help prevent disaster.

We were there for a weekend. It was very easy to find. Check in and out was a breeze. Cabin was clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean! Very quiet and relaxing! Definitely will be back!!

Great bathrooms!!! Cabin was well kept. We were planning on fishing but it was quite a walk and no real open space to fish from. The trail was nice though. Very nice quiet campground.

We asked for toilet paper after check in and we were told no that there was some under the sink, there wasn't. We ran out of toilet paper in our deluxe cabin that wasn't cheap to rent. Not good customer service at all.

Kabin 1 sleeps 8 but the newer patio table & chairs accommodate only 4 and there is not room for food, utensils, lantern, etc. We liked the picnic table! We suggest enlarging the stone paver area around the fire-pit. Hard to see the raised edges at night (tripping) and the back legs of chairs don’t fit on pavers when we sit around the fire. That said, we’ve enjoyed this KOA 20+ years.

It was a nice getaway. I loved the campground and the bathrooms are the best I’ve ever seen. The girl working was so friendly and helpful. I loved the rustic look. I’ll definitely be back

Overnight stop for us in our small camper. It was a week day so not busy, but on weekends it could seem crowded as sites were rather close. Overall campground needed a little TLC—but big plus—probably the nicest campground bathroom/shower that we have ever seen-clean, roomy, secure and very private. Campground was also an easy drive to Monticello and Charlottesville attractions.

Great camping spot. It looks like all spots were roomy. We had a back in spot along the woods which was so private and serene and quiet, and very roomy. Even though it is a KOA, it has a small private campground feeling, almost like a state park but with additional amenities and full hookups. Bath houses were clean. Grounds were clean and well kept. Check-in staff was nice; process was easy. Camp store was well stocked. I'd stay there again. Close enough to Monticello and the Blue Ridge Parkway, but far enough away up in the mountains.

Thanks KOA Charlottesville for a great Easter weekend. Loved the view, loved the peace & quiet. We had several good wine trips as well to close by vineyards. Staff was professional & kind. Will definitely go back 👍🙌🥳
