BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. Slight DETOUR this year. All RVs (5th wheels, trailers, large motor homes and motor homes towing) please use exit 118A off of I-64 to route 29 south then take a left on Red Hill Rd. DO NOT COME Old Lynchburg Rd or route 20 while the bridge work is in progress! If you are traveling by truck, SUV, car, van, pickup camper or motorhome NOT towing less than 11 feet wide and 40 feet long, you can come via the bridge route (rt 20). NO 5th wheels, trailers, large motor homes or motor homes towing on the bridge. Thank you.

From I-64: Take Exit 118 A to Rt 29 South. Go about 6 miles, take a left onto Rt 708/Red Hill Road. Go 4 miles, KOA on left. GPS directions may be inaccurate. N37.931259, W78.566485
DO NOT TAKE EXIT 120 or 121 OFF I-64. Old Lynchburg Rd (exit 120) is a very narrow curvy road. This year, due to bridge work, we recommend route 29 over route 20 if you are coming from I-64.

That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
