We spent 1 night. Our pull through patio site was very nice, almost level, we needed a few blocks, long enough for our 45’ motor home and toad. Roads and entrance were fairly tight for our rig. I would give it 5 stars if level and navigation had been easier. We would stay again.

The campground was very quiet and relaxing. The trees were showing their colors and we did catch sight of several deer near our campsite.

We were welcomed with a polite smile when we arrived in the office to check in. Ashley was very helpful with getting us set up and directed to our site. The camping ground was clean and peaceful. The restrooms and showers were well maintained. Loved the doggie area we visited it daily so our dogs could walk and run some off the leashes. Laundry room is well maintained. Will not be out last trip.

Good service but could use some weed-eating around utility connections. Need to plant breaks between sites and eliminate weeds. Other than that the site was clean and level.

Cabins and bathrooms are very clean. We love the location and the fact that there’s so much to do close-by.

Well situated near wineries , not too far from historic Charlottesville . The person at the office was very nice and courteous

We only did 2 overnight stays here, but the staff was wonderful and the bathrooms spotless. We will likely stay here again if we are in the area.

We love this KOA. It's our second time staying at this campground. The only downside is the laundry facility. The washers and dryers a small capacity and the dryers don't dry well. It took us three times to dry a load. Wifi was spotty. Otherwise it is a great campground. The bathrooms are clean and staff was friendly.

Bathrooms were impeccably clean! What a joy to take a clean hot shower. Would like to have access to CNN via the cable system at the campground.

Lovely setting for a campground. Ease to checkin. Would prefer that there would be a guide to show us the site. Several coaches had some trouble. The wooded trail was fun to walk. The pond is interesting and appeared to have some fish activity. The pool closed for the season was very nice. Certainly a lot for young campers to do here. Susan the dog walker, was very appreciative.

We loved our cabin and enjoyed sitting out at the fire pit. It was convenient to rafting and activities in town. Also we accidentally left a clothing item and they kindly let us know and mailed back to us. Will come again!

We loved the site on the campground perimeter where we could walk out the door and view the woods. The campground is small and peaceful and we were warmly welcomed.

Loved the bathroom suites. We liked the size of the campground, the sites and all the trees. There was no road noise.

Nice setting, well kept and clean. Close to CVille and various historical sites. Red Hill road is pretty narrow but manageable.

Great people. We ordered a pizza at check in for $15. They delivered it right to our site, at the time we requested, hot and fresh. It was so good and great not to cook.

We enjoyed our stay with you. It was quiet and we hiked through the wooded path. Your bathrooms are amazing! Loved the individual shower rooms. I can see where that may be a problem if it's very crowded, but we had no wait time.

We had a wonderful time and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was a beautiful pull through that was not only long but wide. Staff as very nice and helpful. The dog park is located by the office and has these amazing sturdy wood chairs to relax in while your pup stretches his legs. Long, windy and narrow road to get from I64 to the KAO. No signage to direct you to the office. Was told I had to back up my Motorhome, but I flat tow a car. Can’t back up. They wanted me to unhitch the car, but I was on a hill. They finally took me the long way to my site, which was no problem to navigate. The table at the site had dry rot. The worst KOA we have been too.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
