BRIDGE OUT! The normally suggested route to our campground is not passable by RVs. They are doing bridge work. The bridge is one lane with a hard right turn that can't be made by towing or towed vehicles. All RVs (5th wheels, trailers, large motor homes and motor homes towing) please use exit 118A off of I-64 to route 29 south then take a left on Red Hill Rd. Red Hill Rd is hilly and curvy but it is passable by large RV. Please, DO NOT COME Old Lynchburg Rd or route 20 while the bridge work is in progress! If you are traveling by truck, SUV, car, van or pickup camper less than 11 feet wide, you can come via the bridge route (20). NO 5th wheels, trailers, large motor homes or motor homes towing on the bridge.

From I-64: Take Exit 118 A to Rt 29 South. Go about 6 miles, take a left onto Rt 708/Red Hill Road. Go 4 miles, KOA on left. GPS directions may be inaccurate. N37.931259, W78.566485
DO NOT TAKE EXIT 120 or 121 OFF I-64. Old Lynchburg Rd (exit 120) is a very narrow curvy road. This year, due to bridge work, we recommend route 29 over route 20 if you are coming from I-64.
