Was put in a site that had all gravel with a barrier wall at the front. VERY LOUD AND A LOT OF TRAFFIC for a KOA. Does not have a camp store. Clean showers and clean laundry. Friendly staff

L endroit est propre et sécuritaire. Nous sommes arrivé tardivement et tout était quand même prêt pour nous. Une épicerie/pharmacie ainsi qu un dépanneur un food truck ( excellent) et un bar sportif ce trouve juste à côté . Si un jour nous repassons par charlotte il est certain que nous retournerons camper chez vous xx

We only stayed one night so it's hard to properly evaluate the park. The folks that work there were very helpful and very nice. We would stay there again just passing through.

Small gravel sites and not very level. Very narrow roads and the edges of the roads were crumbling. Very close to the highway so the road noise at night was loud. And the garbage truck came at 1:30am and was extremely loud banging several dumpsters while emptying them. This lasted for at least fifteen minutes. I think that KOA could ask the garbage pickup company to come at more reasonable hours.

Location. It’s noisy there. Next to Interstate and close to two airports. WiFi is awful. Too much traffic from the permanent sites in the back. Good for overnight travelers and gypsy workers.

We stayed for a week during Labor Day. Location was great for our daily trips to CLT. Publix was right next door as well as little eatery/bar and gas station. Park was clean and they had events all holiday weekend. Only concern came with a city water main issue resulting in water outage. KOA did not notify campers or of the water boil advisory that followed despite their awareness. Major failure.

Bad Power caused us to run around and spend $150.00 for a new surge protector. After speaking to the sales person we were told "oh yea lots of people have power problems at that park". When we arrived at our next location we plugged in our surge protector and it worked perfectly.The roads are a war zone and if you need to make a left turn (go south) you have to make it before 7AM!

Convenient location. Sites very close but probably normal for KOA Journey. Prices high for Journey but location is likely the driver for the price.

The ladders were too short in the pool making it difficult for older and people with back issues to get out of the pool. Paper towels in the restrooms would be nice. Some sites back up to another making the sites close to each other and they share the same electrical pedestal. Other than that we will be back.

Facility was good and clean. Only issue I had was the wide open entry that anyone from anywhere had full uncontested access to the areas we camped. This is located in a busy area not out in the boonies. I was a little nervous about the access.

We just stayed overnight as we were passing through to our final destination. It is a nice KOA with a pool and things for kids to do.

Coming down for the race at Daytona International Speedway we drove all night from Canada and found this KOA to be amazing and would book again anytime we come to town

I only stayed for one night, but the site was completely level. The laundry room was huge with several washers and dryers. There was a Publix within walking distance and a food truck and bar right across the street. It was perfect for a quick stop over.

All the employees were very respectful and helpful and most of all friendly!! Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable about the area too!!

This was our 3rd time at the Charolette/Fort Mill KOA and as always was such a relaxing and peacefull stay! Workers here are so friendly and communicative! They go above and beyond and keep this place super clean!!! The price is reasonable for all the ammeneties. Will be back!

We were traveling, passing through, basically slept there. Perfect spot for us, easy access from highway, gravel sites, not spread out, most are shade sites. We felt safe walking after there. Restrooms were good, nicely tiled and clean. The showers were great. Office people were polite and friendly. Overall a short but pleasant stay.

This is usually my midway stop. I am always road weary when I get in. Doesn't take long to unwind. Comfortable facilities with a few amenities. Publix is a short walk with everything you might need. Gasoline is next door and very convenient. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Clean showers and bathrooms.

Easy. Staff was a huge help. My first camper trip and (Ron?) escort helped teach me quite a bit about hookups and more. I will return.

Too noisy. People honking car horns at 11PM and trash being collected (very loudly) at 3:30AM! If you can't schedule a pick-up at a convenient time with that company, choose another. The last thing you want when relaxing or traveling is to be woken up in the middle of the night by something that could be scheduled for a different time. Ruined the stay.

Wonderful stay. Simple set up. There for two nights to try out new camper. Clean restrooms. Near CLT/Carowinds. The staff makes this campground. Everyone was so helpful . The most friendly and accommodating staff we have had the pleasure to stay with at any KOA. The restaurant next door was good. Exit from the grocery store lot to get the light. Thanks Ron and all front office for your help!

Daniella at the front desk is a ROCK STAR. Well spoken. Understanding. Informative. A real human that is just a good person. I'd steal her as an employee if I was near, haha. Stayed in the cabins and they were fine. Seemed like the sites had new roadway rocks filled and was cleaned up and more orderly from previous visits 2024/2025
