Easy on/off I81. Basic gravel site. Hostess was very helpful sharing available services nearby. Would visit again on our travels.

We came for 3 nights and ended up staying 11. The staff were very friendly, the playground and other activities like mini golf, and the big life size chess board was fun for the family. A great place to stay! Besides the park could use some upgrades to the roads, the only real complaint we had was the garbage truck coming two nights a week at 2:00 am in the morning waking everyone up, was harsh.

Amazing staff and extremely clean common areas. Crystal, Amy and Dave made our long term RV stay so memorable and we met a lot of nice campers during the few months we were in town. This KOA would be perfect, except for the kids at the nearby school yelling outside all day. It unfortunately made for a really disruptive environment at a great park in an otherwise convenient location.

The staff were efficient and very helpful. I arrived after dark and had a TERRIBLE time finding my way to the entrance. The signage was too small and needed to be more reflective. Road maintenance has been insufficient and getting to the my campsite was difficult. The campsite itself was quite adequate and functional. The work done to round up the fallen leaves to expose grass

Unfortunately we arrived after dark, it was hard to find our spot and the map wasn’t very clear. Another camper came out to help us.

The people are great and very friendly, the site we were on was good. My only complaint is the roads with in the park are very old and falling apart. They need to repaired. Appearance is everything. Looking from the outside and first impressions it look run down.

Nice large camping spots- great for when you have slides. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly and upbeat. Always willing to answer any questions. Bathhouse was very clean. We used this KOA as a stop overnight, then moving on the next morning. They have a food truck style restaurant inside a building where you can sit down and have drinks, watch ball games on the TV screen, etc. It was very relaxing.

First site we were given someone else was using the water spigot. They said it was ok because they placed a Y splitter. But that diminishes the amount of water we’d get. Asked for another site that was unfortunately between trees the mat we couldn’t see as we arrived in the dark. These trees were dropping small acorns on our Airstream all night long. We got to the campground after office hours. The campsites are not lit & the map did not have our site circled. Thankfully a nice man that was staying there helped us find out site. He complained that it was very difficult to find campsites after dark

Very nice facility. We had a two night layover in the Charlotte area and this was our best option based on location. The park is clean and well maintained. We loved the food and the full bar. Dinner and cold beer was very welcome after a long travel day. I hate to mention road noise, but there is some, the place is in a busy area. Food, fuel, and groceries all within easy walking distance!

For the first time in 10 years, I messed up a reservation—booked 4 days instead of a week! The KOA staff were fantastic, jumping in to help extend my stay and make everything smooth. Their kindness, teamwork, and can-do attitude turned my mistake into a stress-free, enjoyable week. We always love staying at this KOA. Thank you!

The staff was awesome. We will definitely be back. Very clean park & quiet. We're thinking of staying here for a month or more in the winter to get away from the cold weather. There's a grocery store & gas station within walking distance

Clean sites, easy to navigate, some sites are a little tight. Was extremely disappointed that Halloween weekend no trick or treating happen nor festivities for kids. Was told at booking there would be so we decorated and afterwards were told there would not be anything trick or treating. We didn’t have anything scary just lights and a few blowups with pumpkins etc. We will not return again.

My wife and I very much appreciated the staff accomodating us when we had a mechanical issue with our truck and needed to extend our stay a few days. They were very helpful and were very responsive. I highly recommend this KOA Joirney!

Great campground with great staff. Very accommodating. Great bathrooms and Laundry room is big, clean and washers and dryers work well. Campground is also next to has a permanent Food Truck and Bar. Walking distance. Great place.

Daniella at the front desk is a ROCK STAR. Well spoken. Understanding. Informative. A real human that is just a good person. I'd steal her as an employee if I was near, haha. Stayed in the cabins and they were fine. Seemed like the sites had new roadway rocks filled and was cleaned up and more orderly from previous visits 2024/2025
