The cabin we rented was in poor shape it needs updating badly. The smell was unbearable. We love staying at KOAs but have noticed the quality and cleanliness of the campgrounds falling drastically during the past year

Perfect roadside stop but not a "camping experience": Sparkling clean bathrooms. Cabins are clean and comfortable. But no fire rings, and little effort made to privatize spots, hide the urban housing, or make the area inviting.

We stayed in a cabin and enjoyed our stay. Very close to lots of activities. The cabin was clean and the whole park was quiet and well maintained. The front office staff was friendly during check in and we had no issues. We would stay again

The cabin was so dirty! The GFI didn’t work and the tv/wifi was impossible! Worst KOA I have seen! I have been a member since 2009 and have traveled the country! Very disappointed! The price was too expensive for the cabin as well! No security either!

I like to stay in KOA cabins when I travel instead of hotels for so many reasons…. The feeling of outdoors, the smell of firewood, meeting other campers who are always gracious and interesting and the friendly, helpful staff!! These KOA had all of these. We were not there very long but we did feel relaxed and rested when we left!!

Stayed 2 nights in deluxe cabin w 2 kids. Not new to KOA. Pros: Cleanest! cabin of 5 past stays, Beds! real mattress, screened porch, quiet, friendly, pool (sight only), cool bar, didn't use bathhouse. Nuetral/Cons: (see reviews) location, locals, accuracy, grounds. Food served to public from private kitchen w no controls, events cut no notice, advertised amenities mia. FL 65+ trailer park vibe?

My granddaughter and I stayed in the cabin with a bathroom 2 nights while we visited friends and did some shopping! It was perfect! She wanted to stay in a hotel I wanted to camp! Perfect compromise! Very kind staff!

The bed was one of the best beds we’ve experienced at a KOA, it was very comfortable! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was the perfect place for a quick overnight stay during our travels.

The KOA is fort mill was awesome. We will go back there for sure. The staff was awesome. They even called us after hours when we were travel there to see when we would arrive to help us get to our cabin. We were an hour after they closed and I ran into one of the staff riding by and she helped us with the paper work and wear we were going. The cabin was better than expected and very clean.

The campground was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with the exception of the door. The door did not have a way to keep it closed and it need to be oiled very squeaky. Did not like the fact the whole rec area closed up at 8. Having 4 young adults 1 child there was nothing for them to do. Even the basketball was closed off.

The staff is great and location is wonderful but the physical facilities and in poor shape. The roads inside the campground are in terrible shape and two of three mens room toilet stalls were out of order for at least a week - I stayed overnight on two consecutive Sunday with no change.

Convenient location.Staff helpful.Pool has no steps or entry/exit for handicapped or older folks,ladders only.No other activities.Bar is convenient! Store has just alcoholic beverages good that Publix is close. Not as family oriented as most KOAs. Great for singles!

I just want to say how friendly and welcoming all the staff members were at this location. It made me feel so at ease. Just stayed one night and the amenities were super clean and functioning. Will definitely be looking to come back here again. Thank you so much for the southern hospitality feeling. It made me feel like I was at home �ϋ�

The deluxe cabin was clean and well-stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the a/c was a blessing. The cabins are located adjacent to the laundry and bath house for convenience and the receptionist at the office was helpful and friendly (Babette).

Cabin overpriced for barely any amenities, staff is nice but the campsite nickels and dimes charges to include keeping the deposit.

So sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We do have a larger cabin with more amenities. Please try that next time. We never keep deposits unless there is damage. If you have not seen a refund on your card please call the office.

Was asked to leave after paying Bec I offered a ride to a gentleman in a tent that the manager Corey thought was homeless. They called the cops and gave me 30 minutes to vacate the property and still have not refunded my 3 night cabin stay. Until the manager is fired or the owner rectifies the situation I will continue to blast this property all over social media as an horrible place not frienuns.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We only have a handful of folks that are banned; you are one. Your behavior and that of your companion with the machete was unsafe and a nuisance to our guests. We did refund a night not stayed but kept the cleaning fee as the cabin was destroyed and took several days to rectify the damage.

Staff is friendly, gracious and willing to help. Cabin and contents were clean and orderly. The grounds were well maintained and quiet. The linen package was nice quality. Thank you for a really nice stay.

Daniella at the front desk is a ROCK STAR. Well spoken. Understanding. Informative. A real human that is just a good person. I'd steal her as an employee if I was near, haha. Stayed in the cabins and they were fine. Seemed like the sites had new roadway rocks filled and was cleaned up and more orderly from previous visits 2024/2025
