We picked this location as it was convenient to attend football game downtown. The only issue we had was the bathhouses. When they clean one the other should be open and it was not. Also closed for cleaning in the morning when folks were trying to get in prior to leaving. They need to change the cleaning schedule!

Just a basic campground, no fire pits. Office staff unaware if heat in bathrooms and temperatures were going down to the 20s. Spoke to maintenance man next day and he indicated maintenance had not been informed though office was told. Maintenance got it fixed by later that day so they did good

We have stayed at the Fort Mill KOA 6 times and they have always been very kind and accommodating. Very nice campgrounds.

Stayed 3 nights in a cabin. Cabin was great. Comfy for 5 people. Campgrounds were bare minimum. We've only stayed at 2 others, King's Dominion and Virginia Beach. VA Beach had a ton to do and going on. KD had a few things to do. Charlotte one had putt putt and ping pong, which were cool.

Unauthorized charge without any notification. Called during office hours but nobody answered the phone. Email sent but no reply. As a long time KOA VIP member, it's very disappointing to have gone through this after staying 11 nights for Thanksgiving holiday away from home. Instead of hospitality, we felt ignored and neglected. Still waiting for a reply in resolving this preventable issue.

Site was not what we expected, campers next door moving so there was a mess all around, tried to get another site but was told by the office person there were only premium sites available for over 100 dollars per night. Checked around and there were several unoccupied regular sites so I’m not sure why we could not get one.Propane service only owns at 10am so if you leave early your out of luck

Was a pleasant visit. The location was convenient for us because it was close to our kids and grandkids. Also a Publix grocery store was within walking distance. No complaints and we will return. �

This is a good stop over campground . The staff is friendly, the campground is clean and pet friendly . This is not a secluded campground , it is right off of a main road and houses back up to the property , so there is a little bit of traffic noise but not overwhelming . We stayed there in November.There is a supermarket and gas station within walking distance , fuel prices are low .

Bathroom sinks didn’t work so had to use sink in the laundry room. Camping cabin didn’t have a fridge. Beds were on the older side and sank in overnight. It was ok, but I’d look at other lodging options in the area next time.

This is one of our favorite KOA’s! Very friendly employees and clean facilities. Centrally located near shops and just off the highway, and close to Charlotte. Thanks for the warm welcome, as usual!

The Ft. Mill KOA was convenient for us. Check in was easy. The campground and restrooms were clean. We were quite close to our neighbors. The surrounding area is fairly highly developed. Noise from traffic & airplanes was intrusive. The price was reasonable. Our water & electric hookup were conveniently located.

Solid campground convenient to that Ft mill / rock hill area. Not a large campground and can be busy and packed in. The street is too dangerous to walk dogs on long walks, so you walk the campground. WiFi was not bad this time. Verizon hot spot on phone was bad for working remote ended up buying Verizon jet pack and it worked great. WiFi would not cut it for that. Nice employee’s.

Nice upgraded cabins and bathroom. But Mattress was very uncomfortable. Dog park needs to be upgraded. It’s to small, doesn’t have any dog play items like bridge, jump or tube.

Dump station was locked in the morning, so we had to drive it home to Ohio. The office was closed at 8:15 their was no staff member around to help.

Stayed two nights with a dog. Used the dog area three times and always picked up his business. Dog area was full of poop, worst of any KOA I’ve been to.

This campground is clean - the washrooms and laundry facilities are excellent. It is right off the highway so easy to access. right next-door to a grocery if you need it but honestly you don’t need anything else as the property encompasses the campground, a gas station with both gas and diesel, a bar, a food truck, a convenience store and a liquor store. A very convenient place to stop

We would recommend only because of its proximity to Charlotte. We arrived at 12 p.m. and were told that we would have to pay a fee for early check-in, that check-in time was 3 p.m. (we later verified and it is suppose to be 1 p.m.) It is not about the money but there was no one on our lot + we did not see anyone clean or do anything to the lots once someone left...What was the point?

No running water in bathroom. Given the wrong code for the door. One cabin had 5 cars, loud music til midnight and a strong smell of pot. Counted at least 10 people at the cabin and 3 cars left after midnight. Need better policing of cabin rentals and allowed visitors. We have enjoyed our stays in the past.

Our check in was quick and easy. We appreciated the escort to our site and help "lining up" our fifth wheel with the utilities. We have stayed here at this time and in the early spring a number of times and have always had a positive stay.

I arrived at around 8pm. It was already dark and this was my first time at this campground. Because the office is quite small and located off to the right of the entrance, I drove past it once and had to turn around to go back and find my late registration. Some additional signage would be helpful. The dump station was locked and I was unable to use it on the way out. Unacceptable at KOA prices.

Hosts were very nice. KOA right in the city for me. Surrounded by houses and one house decided to shot loud fireworks for several hours somewhat annoying

Needed a last minute place for overnight , stay off the hwy . Called , booked cabin with ease . Customer service amazing ! Late midnight check in also! Main bathrooms absolutely spotless ! And enormous ! Would def recommend KOA to travel
