The staff was accommodating. Appreciated the escort to our site. The site was hard to figure out. Was full hook up. Appreciate the clean shower/restroom and hot water. Not extremely attractive camp ground but adequate for a one night stay.

We always use this campground as a stop heading north or south. Great place nice sites & amenities, fuel right there, food truck. Also next to Publix & not far from the Charlotte area attractions!

Accommodating on short notice was welcomed by us. Bathrooms clean and camp site was spacious.

Stay was great and the restaurant/bar was a nice place to enjoy a drink and dinner. My only complaint was the sewer hookup - would be helpful if the sewer pipe in the ground had threads on it to secure the waste water pipe. Thanks

Not a great campground a place to stop. For the price to stay could be better. Great overnight stay on the way back from Florida easy on easy off.

The campground was great, our neighbors barking dogs left a bad noise to our stay. They were gone all afternoon and their dogs never shut up the whole time they were out. The owner even came back and I asked if he was tak8ng the dog with him and he said no but they are mad. I said I know we have listened to them all day. He said they would be home soon…we went inside. Not campgrounds fault but n

Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. RV sites are not very welcoming. Seem run down with no landscaping, and drives are not maintained.

We’ve stayed numerous times at Fort Mill KOA. Unfortunately, this year may be our last. The bathrooms-showers were very clean, but the roads and sites are a disaster. Potholes, sawdust and dirt everywhere…..fix the roads and clean up the sites.

We were on site 35 which is new. It was a gravel lot with picnic table and fire bowl. This area is new since we last stopped. Improvements are being made - which were definitely needed. Easy in and out - exit past Publix for a stoplight. Traffic very heavy. Publix right next door is a ++

Dirty, dusty, noisy, but worst of all full of full time campers whose sites are absolute pig sty’s. Sorry for the bad review but this was not up to KOA standards.

We were given the worst site in the campground. There were plenty of others. It’s way too expensive for what you get. Unopened pool for starters. One toilet stayed dirty all day in the men’s room. Employees friendly but scarce. No effort at making it welcoming with plantings. We did discover McDowell Nature Preserve -beautiful. We will be staying there next time for a fraction of cost. Publix

Park would be real nice in summer but it was early spring so it was kind of bland. We were only there 1 night , passing thru. Only problem was water was pretty brown / rusty.

Was only there for 2 nites, but we had a great time. Love that it is just off the interstate. Staff is great, especially Hugh. He gave us so many tips of where to go to eat. He was great! Will definitely be back on our travels.

We have stayed at over 50 KOAs and this one is WAY over priced. The roads and sites need repair. They will charge you $35 for a firepit upfront. but will refund if you don’t use it. The staff was super friendly.

We stayed for a couple of days on our way home from the South. Nice spot and friendly staff. Great restaurants all around and a Publix right next door. Definite repeat for us.

Overnight stay. Good site. Price much higher than other KOA’s. Was supposed to receive a 10$ credit due to computer glitch when attempting to use $10 reward points. Points taken no credit received on card. Need to light dog walk area near disposal bags. Very dark.

Very nice KOA. Everything was right there, grocery store, food and gas. Didn’t need to unhook the camper for our short stay. Definitely will stay here again when passing through the area.

It was disappointing that we had no TV the entire time we were there because there is no cable hook up provided. Also, the men's restroom was extremely dirty. Other than that we were thrilled with the levelness of the site, the quietness, the courteousness of the people in the office and the closeness to restaurants, etc.

We met up with other family members. KOA was perfect for those needing accommodation stayed in their camping cabins. The location is perfect as there is a supermarket right at the entrance alongside a gas station and many restaurants close by. Nice playground, mini golf, corn hole. Very enjoyable time.

Delightful people and a fine place. Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. A nice quiet place. If we are in this area again, we would definitely come back.

Daniella at the front desk is a ROCK STAR. Well spoken. Understanding. Informative. A real human that is just a good person. I'd steal her as an employee if I was near, haha. Stayed in the cabins and they were fine. Seemed like the sites had new roadway rocks filled and was cleaned up and more orderly from previous visits 2024/2025
