Had a great stay here. The cabin was very nice, clean, and the heat worked well during the cold nights. Great location, quiet, very close to Carowinds with easy access via Pleasant Road to avoid the main traffic on I-77. Near gas stations, Publix, restaurants. Bathrooms were clean but no hot water in the shower on Saturday morning. Also most of the sinks did not work.

Easy on/off I77 south of Charlotte. Always a lot of traffic in this area. Stayed here a few times because it’s convenient. This time we needed and extra night due to tire problems. They were very accommodating and luckily had the extra night. Lots of great restaurants, stores etc in this area.

Was easy to find and really liked the close stores near campground. I was just passing through and didn’t unhook but could walk to store to grab a few things.

A very old campground. “Roads” around campground are confusing and worn out. Very difficult to find our site after hours (7 p.m.)

No hot water in bath house at 9pm, 10pm or 11pm. Tried again at 5:30am and all showers were left running and again no hot water. Toilets not flushed, just bathroom in total disarray due to inconsiderate campers or non-campers who know the code to the bathroom. Maybe code needs changing, but not have hot water on a cold night and morning is why I give this campground 3 stars, otherwise all good.

This park is way too crowded. We were packed in like sardines. The dual power boxes presented a problem as the folks who would come next to us turned off our power. Also too noisy. Will not be returning to this location again.

We are not 'city' people so staying here (airline noise (in the flight path), and traffic noise) was a bit much. Campground was nice; good staff. Traffic getting in to and out of the campground was awful! No light to allow for exiting toward the freeway (and the drivers there were seemingly too much of a hurry to show any courtesy). Most likely would not stay there again; too much stress.

The host are very accommodating and everyone is friendly. This was our 3rd time staying and enjoyed. Great location.

Brief stay. Back to back arrangement a bit odd, but the big trees are nice, and staff are attentive and friendly. We enjoyed watching the incoming jets to CLT and the busy squirrels. Easy to access I77 but no freeway noise in the campground. Adjacent to everything you need. Roads do need to be repaved.

Nice clean simple campground. Purple were friendly that work here. My dogs enjoyed the dog park. Pool wasn't opened but looked nice. We will be back, my daughter lives 6 minutes from here.

We enjoyed our unplanned extended stay. We were headed to the NC mountains but decided to stay put. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Especially when we encountered an issue in the first cabin. The staff was very helpful in getting us moved to another cabin. We sat on the screen porch and watched some of the horrible storm blow through. In the end we left a day early to go back home.

Told that we would have 30A. Actually, 30a inoperative. Tried 20A, also NG. Ran on generator and inverter overnight. No one in office in AM. Have used KOA over the past 20+ years. This was clearly the worst experience. I would welcome a response and/or refund. Thank you. Fred Locke 845 343 2546

We stayed by tents for just one night. The staff is friendly, the price for a tent is too high, the place is very noisy because of the highways.

Just an overnight stay, but I would recommend this park for a longer stay in the Charlotte area. The staff was very helpful.

Well run clean camp ground. Great facilities the bath house is the cleanest I have seen, the laundry is also well maintained. The sites are good size and the hook ups are well organized. The site is located in a very nice area and easy to enter and exit. If you are going to the Charlotte area this is the best campground you will find.

Staff was great! Enjoyed our overnight stay and will return. Unfortunately we arrived late in the day and left early morning so no chance to review the entire park but what we experienced in a short time was excellent.

Great sites, Great location..a gas station, a Bar, package liquor, and grocery out front.. it IS in a city, with city sounds...but convenient and lovely..for a stay or a pass by

We really enjoyed our stay. People were friendly , camping spots were spacious, campground was . Nice location. Planning on going back soon. Right next to gas station and publix. We pull a 30 foot 5th wheel.
