We stopped for one night and loved everything available. Easy check in; customer help; gas station/convenience store; place to sit and eat (inside or out); bar; pool tables and miniature golf all within easy walking distance. The grocery store is a few steps further but an easy stroll. It was great having all this at our “fingertips” as we didn’t want to unhook tow vehicle. Lovely visit.

Nice site. Easy to get level without blocks. Clean. Nice location. Entrance is a bit crowded. Staff are friendly. Nice sized bundles of wood at $8. Very few extras in camp store. Tiny. Handy food truck next door.

THe check in process was very easy. The gentleman who showed me to my space was very kind and offered to help me the next day to pull out even though he was not officially on duty. The place was clean and seemed well kept.

Stay here with my sons and grand son every year once or twice to go to Panthers or Hornets games, fairly easy drive into Charlotte.

The staff ladies were AWESOME! We actually could not find our site so one of them came out in the rain and showed us where it was. We were given a site with NO sewage and were told we could dump on our way out in the morning. When leaving, sewage dump was locked. We ended up dumping on another site. The campground was packed and sites had literally no space. Very crowded.

Stayed at Fort Mills KOA for work in Charlotte. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were super clean.

The unit was kept clean and tidy. However, the lights for the sink takes 30 mins to light up. The outside light for the patio doesn't work at all. We reported it but it never got fixed.

Nicest park convenient to Charlotte. Lots of pull through sites. Bathrooms very clean and modern. A few other suggestions for improvement: Could use more sites with sewer connections, please do not lock the one dump station after hours (we left early before the office opened to find the dump station lid locked shut).

It was horrible. I really want a refund. We picked KOAs because they are reliable. Not this one. My dog is terrified of fireworks. We avoid holiday events. There were fireworks so close, debris rained down on the camper. On the KOA brochure it said fireworks are illegal. Well, the local sheriff said otherwise. Do kept us up stressing all night. Had driven 416 miles and had 300+ to go. Not ok.

Campground was clean, personnel were very nic We had a site up front next to the fence/parking lot we had two issues one, the campground had nothing to do with was the houses behind the campground were setting off large fireworks, very noisy. The second was a motor home pulled in after hours and parked in the lot next to the fence where we were and ran their generator all night, no consideration.

I had a deluxe cabin that allowed dogs. I wish all would do that even if it was only one that allow that. It was very clean and comfortable. Nice grounds conveniently located.

Great staff, friendly & helpful. Spaces are pretty tight and right on top of each other, but what can you expect for a campground kind of in the middle of town. WIFI was terrible, easy to connect but VERY slow. Not the most restful place with all the air traffic overhead for Charlotte.

Fine for a one night stop. Didn’t expect it to be in the middle of a commercial zone. Difficult entry/exit due to traffic. Dog enjoyed the free dog treats

It was a short stay; however, we did visit the restroom and shower house, which was fine. Regretfully, the Wi-Fi didn’t seem to be that good. Not sure if we actually ever connected.

Employees were very nice and accommodating. The only downfall I found at the campground was the poor shape of the asphalt roads inside the campground. Location is very convenient.

Easy off the highway, quick and easy check in, friendly staff. Pull thru site was good size. Loved walking from our site to John’s Place - had some good wings from the food truck, a couple of local craft beers at the bar, and Hunts Brothers pizza from the convenience store.

Overnight stay, have stayed there several times while traveling. Lot of road and airplane noise to contend with. Suggest a site toward the back of the campground. Campground speed limits need to be enforced.

Acorns from the tree we had to be under in the site we were put in (51) hit our roof most of the day and night. It would be a much better cg if there was cable available and if there was someway to pull onto Goldhill road since there is so much traffic (caution light etc.)

Cannot believe this is a KOA! Narrow badly maintained streets, heavy tree cover (no satellite), no good WiFi, no cable, conkers kept hitting the coach all night. Loud road noise, lots of gravel and mud when it rains. EXPENSIVE!! $72 with discount weeknights, $93 with disc on weekends. Go up the road to Wilderness (same price) very nice park!

Was unhappy with initial site and was quickly changed to a better site. Appreciated the staff helpfulness. We stay here when visiting a friend as it is very close to her home.

We really enjoyed our stay. People were friendly , camping spots were spacious, campground was . Nice location. Planning on going back soon. Right next to gas station and publix. We pull a 30 foot 5th wheel.
