The internet was horrible, on and off and weak signal. People were nice, but only excuses for the internet. Gravel strewn over the paved portions, just seemed a little not cared for. Easy in and out. Water! Electric, and sewer worked fine.

Level SHADED pull-through site. Bathrooms were well maintained. The food truck and pub on site were a pleasant and welcome surprise. Publix grocery store next door. Excellent location when traveling East on 77. Travel West through Charlotte on 77 is almost always congested. Plan accordingly.

We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly close to the Publix & Gas station. The Dog park was a walk. Loved how long term was in a separate area amazing for us in & out. Internet was non existent especially in the area looking at Real estate thank goodness for Publix Cafe in Lobby. Lots of Amenities close to interstate as well. Clean never used restrooms or showers. Would stay again if passing

For us, Fort Mill is a convenient single overnight if you need a place in transit through the Charlotte vicinity. It is a suburban "camp ground" that has been there a while and is well maintained. People are helpful. It is clean, All the utilities work just great.

The KOA is fort mill was awesome. We will go back there for sure. The staff was awesome. They even called us after hours when we were travel there to see when we would arrive to help us get to our cabin. We were an hour after they closed and I ran into one of the staff riding by and she helped us with the paper work and wear we were going. The cabin was better than expected and very clean.

It was an easy stay. We only stayed one night. It was easy to pull into. It’s not somewhere I would pick to stay for vacationing. But for a night or 2 stop it was nice. However, there is a bar/liquor store butted up to the camp ground. I didn’t like that. Also the pool and play ground closed down at 8 pm I feel that’s a little early. We got in just in time for it to close.

This KOA is our favorite overnight stop on our trips North. Friendly staff, grounds well-kept and pull-through sites are long. Wi-fi is great. No cable TV, but many OTA stations. We did not use the bath house or pool.

The campground was clean and quiet. This location was pretty sweet. We only stayed 2 nights since we were on our way to Myrtle Beach but the children enjoyed riding their bikes on paved roads in the camp and we enjoyed the convenience of having Publix next door QT across the street and especially the late night snacks from John’s. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This KOA is very easy to locate. There is a large grocery store next door. The pool is very well maintained, although there are no steps with a handrail for those physically challenged.

The campground was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with the exception of the door. The door did not have a way to keep it closed and it need to be oiled very squeaky. Did not like the fact the whole rec area closed up at 8. Having 4 young adults 1 child there was nothing for them to do. Even the basketball was closed off.

Only a 3 because we couldn’t sit outside in the evening do to people smoking pot. The smell is not pleasant. Not sure if it’s in your rules but should be .

The staff is great and location is wonderful but the physical facilities and in poor shape. The roads inside the campground are in terrible shape and two of three mens room toilet stalls were out of order for at least a week - I stayed overnight on two consecutive Sunday with no change.

The Good: level pad pull thru. Clean bathrooms and showers. The Bad: generic amenities. Picnic table only, no patio, no fire pit, etc. I didn’t use pool. No hot tub. The UGLY: The Price! A generic KOA charging $89 weekdays and $118/day weekends for a “Journey” is outlandish. I stayed because near family to visit but will not stay again at those prices! Your staff is awesome also the facilities are clean and well kept. Thoughts I'd like to offer; 1. The travel lanes could use some pothole maintenance. 2. The patio on site 102 became a small stream that left a pond after the rain stopped.

Convenient location.Staff helpful.Pool has no steps or entry/exit for handicapped or older folks,ladders only.No other activities.Bar is convenient! Store has just alcoholic beverages good that Publix is close. Not as family oriented as most KOAs. Great for singles!

I just want to say how friendly and welcoming all the staff members were at this location. It made me feel so at ease. Just stayed one night and the amenities were super clean and functioning. I pulled in for one night with a reservation, but after the office closed so my tag and camp map were in the outside box. When I pulled into my site, it was pathetic. The pad was more dirt than gravel, but there was a big pile of gravel that the picnic table was lopsidedly perched halfway on top of, and the grass and weeds were 8-10” high all over the site. We arrived after 6 PM and no directions were given of how to access our site. There was a sign on the office to go to the gas station next-door, and the person there said they should not be sending people over there and that person let us know to go back to the office and find our paperwork inside the cabinet. There was nothing there for us. No phone number to call for help.

I paid for a concrete slab site. I was the only site without a fire pit. The pool was NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.. just a ladder no steps. I went to the food truck 3 times and they were closed. Great staff, road to overnight parking very narrow & in need of some TLC. But not a problem. Recommend turning at Exxon entrance right after KOA sign. It’s a straight shot into KOA & you’re not making 3 tighter turns. QT gas was convent to fuel on way back to I-77. 35’ class A pulling, our second time here & we’ll be back.

Daniella at the front desk is a ROCK STAR. Well spoken. Understanding. Informative. A real human that is just a good person. I'd steal her as an employee if I was near, haha. Stayed in the cabins and they were fine. Seemed like the sites had new roadway rocks filled and was cleaned up and more orderly from previous visits 2024/2025
