Everything ,was clean and everyone that work there were very nice and helpful,we enjoyed it,I do wish there was more activities while we stay there like maybe bingo or movie night or something like that and also for the pool to stay open later on the weekends,but thank you

Rained alot wish the site had ben graded to keep water off tent had over 1 inch beating at my tent door. managed to stay mostly dry . bathrooms well kept.

No activities for children also no shuttle to charleston also the cops being there all night and all weekend and the code to get into bathroom? Must be a very bad area!

A little noisy with things KOA cannot control (nearby airport and drag racers on Interstate) Overall really good customer service, cleanly facility. Good security with police monitoring. Enjoyed our stay

We stayed here on our trip back home. The staff was very helpful. The tent sites were a little small compared to the other KOA tent sites we have stayed at. All the sites were clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Charleston KOA staff were friendly and helpful. I found the bathrooms to be very clean. The showers are inside stalls, which allows for more privacy. They also have hooks and a bench to place your things on. Although it is hard to make a left turn out of the KOA onto US-78, you can easily make a right and either u-turn or pull through the KFC lot and out again to make a left going south on US-78.

A nice secluded area in a big city. Yes, there are noises, but you can't camp in a city and get rid of all the city sounds. Everyone was kind and we had a great time!

This one time the grass wasn’t mowed by pool. Was very long. There was garbage strewn around my campsite, cigarette packages and soda cans. I did like my new picnic table and safety electrical outlet.

Would have given a 5 star but the mosquitos were awful. We could barely come out of out tent even with tons of bug spray. Looks like our plot was on a swamp and was just attracting them.

I found this campsite clean and close to beach and downtown Charleston it was a pleasure to stay here .

Campsites we’re nice…… except for fire ants. Nice picnic table. Management did put out some treatment yet we bought at local Walmart more fire ant killer for more nests we found. Garbage pickup guy was nice and helpful. Pool was great & worth the stay!!! Overall, recommend this KOA but if tenting…. Check for fire ant hills!

The stay was very good. We felt comfortable and safe. The only minus is that the campsite is quite close to the road and the traffic noise is quite loud at night.

It was awesome!!! We were finally able to utilize our new tent!!! The spot was perfect and the office staff are very attentive and made sure that our stay was amazing!!!

This was the WORST KOA I’ve ever stayed at! The SAFETY at this location is why I say this. I had a crackhead lady come in the bathroom on me after gaining access behind two CHILDREN! Once inside she proceeded to tell the male waiting for her outside that “once the lady (me) got done doing my hair that she’d service him!” They we’re NOT guest!! The noise from the traffic was unexpected. The facility was clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The check in to the KOA was easy. I liked the pool and internet access was good

The campground was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Nice amenities at the campground. The only part that was difficult was the traffic noise in the campsite. Otherwise a nice stay.

Just for overnight stay. Small camp sites, noises ( highway, airport and trains). Average amenities. Washing machines. No privacy between sites.

Upon arriving to our site, we found there was trash scattered all over the site, including used q-tips and STRAIGHT RAZOR BLADES!! In the evening, every toilet in the women's restroom was FILTHY. Around 8am, on Saturday, an employee began mowing. He mowed over the gravel driveway, and launched a rock right at our site, hitting our tent. Trash was also left in the shower stalls.very dirty and noisy

Too crowded. Bright lights from parking lot next too campground went right into our tent. The fence should be higher or there should be more trees super noisy next to the road

I stay at KOA in Ladson at least 2 times a year. I either stay in a cabin or tent. This year the tent wasn't as enjoyable. This was due to having campers on both sides of my site. One camper felt the need to have lights on the outside of it all night even though the campers were asleep inside. This of course bled through my tent making sleep difficult. Separate campers from tent sites.

Located close to the things we wanted to see in Charleston and the other campers were amazing and friendly. This location is close to a highway and airport. Constant planes and sirens made getting any sleep very difficult. Additionally, you lose a lot of the camping experience with all of the city noise 24/7.

Quick 1 night stay Aug 31, 2023. Fast check in. Nice info packet upon arrival. They even had a free kitchen trash bag in it. They pick up trash at your site. Paved, not completely level, but close. Had enough room to stay hooked up to 36' 5th wheel, plus park a car sideways in front of truck. Just like all KOA's the place is well maintained and spotless restrooms. All employees kind and happy looking. Nice dog park. Had a 30lb propane tank filled at what I would consider a decent price. There were other amenities, but we didn't use them. A little bit of a noisy area, but we've been in worse. Would stay again.

Pretty cute little campground with an 8ft pool and playground with a game room! Most of the lots are pretty spacious!
