Very nice place and staff is very friendly and helpful! The only problem I had was the street noise (I was in a tent) other than that all good.

Everything was nice until some rude lady walking a dog came up to us demanding we put our campfire out. I thought she was just some "karen" because she didn't introduce herself. She came back 7 minutes later yelling at us & finally figured out that she worked there. She then cursed in front of our kids and stormed off. Horrible experience. She was rude and confrontational.

While we normally encourage our campers to enjoy a campfire, we were under a state wide burn ban during your stay. We take warnings and bans seriously for everyones safety and not complying and arguing with staff regarding these regulations will lead to being asked to leave our campground.

NICE bathroom! We tent camped and it was very cold so I was thrilled to have a temperature controlled restroom. We got in late and finding our spot was very easy, the whole stay was great.

The camp ground was clean. The people were very polite and helpful. The one major downfall is the road noise and area noise. It was hard to sleep.

The facility was very good. My problem was with the noise from nearby highways, train tracks and the Air Force base. When I made my reservation, there were only two sites available (20A & water only) yet four similar sites on either side of us were vacant during our stay.

Peaceful campground, but the tent area was just over the fence from a business that starts making noise around 7:00 am during the workweek.

Whatever business is right behind the campground was very loud at night all hours. The campground store however had great prices, bathrooms were always clean and employees were nice.

Location close to highway. Sites were easy to access, showers, office and laundry all in one location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the staff were very polite, there were some things that caused frustration. Each morning there was either mowing or some sort of bobcat hauling going on. Dust everywhere... we had to get in our RV and close all the windows. One morning in particular we were fixing breakfast outside and a staff person started weed eating about 15 feet from us.

I reserved a spot for a tent with power and got a spot with 220 volts and woke up at 1am to my handicap gf being very cold. I went to a gas station and bought a 90 dollor extention cord long enough to reach the plug on the neighboring empty site. Next morning they said sorry about that and gave me an adapter only to find out after the office closed that there was no power at all on my site.

We camped for 3 nights in our 2nd night we try to rent a cabin for the last night due to the continuous rain but unfortunately we weren’t allowed unless it was for 2 nights. Sad!

sites are very small and packed, so there’s no privacy, but front desk ppl are nice and friendly. Checked in the middle of the day, there was no one except for the front desk. We left for a bit, and came back around 10, again there was nobody so I did not feel safe. Neighbor is residential area and crowded.

Staff were very helpful. Overall stay was very good. Only negatives are the entrance in, you think you are pulling into a residential mobile home park, and the washrooms need updating

Helpful staff, clean and orderly, beautiful flowers, cute cats/birds. Each year is better and better. Only negative is not enough grass in tent area and inconvenient placed picnic table in poor condition.

Lots of traffic on Highway and very average sites. Rush hour traffic is not good. Staff was awesome especially Kathy. Easy access to Charleston when it is not rush hour

We had a great Memorial Day stay! The pool was fantastic..lots of room and loved the hammocks. The staff was very friendly and responded immediately to any request we had. It was an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. It did rain and there was some pooling of water around some of our campers, but it drained quickly...after all it is called the "low country". Would definitely stay again. Update: we just stayed again for the 6th year in a row. They have stepped up their game with a few new additions around the campground and a dedicated maintenance crew that is on top of it. Highly recommend.

We enjoy our time at KOAs, however everything about this one was "off" in so many little ways which is not typical of the KOA brand. First it started with bad set of Google map directions in the welcome email which sent us 10 miles to a private residence. If you Google "Charleston KOA" for directions, it sends you to the correct location. Secondly, the tent site A10 is a parking logistics nightmare because of the close proximity of a metal grill, tree, shrub, dog waste container, and large RVs in the row across from our site. If a vehicle was in A11, our car doors would have hit each other due to the 2 feet difference in our adjacent gravel parking pads. An 8 foot fence does a good job of blocking out the ridiculously bright gas station floodlights. But the fence does not block the frequent emergency vehicle sirens from the highway (I've never heard so many sirens at night!) The bathrooms literally sparkles and are squeaky clean, however, do not hope for water pressure and hair shampooing in these showers (you'll want the phone # to their cleaning lady because she does such a great job!) Everyone is super friendly here and the curbside trash pickup was very nice amenity. The grounds are neat and tidy, water and electric at each site was convenient.
