Stayed in April. Weather perfect no bugs. Very close to downtown. Clean, Quiet except for sirens and airplane noise, and sites were of nice size!!

The campsite was very rustic compared to the New Orleans KOA. Grass wasn’t cut. Shower heads need of replacement. Noisy. I will try other KOA outside Charleston if we visit again.

Everyone we came in contact was very nice. We use KOAs mostly for the dog park, our pup loves running loose. Charleston KOAs dog park could use some work/updating.

Basically what you would expect from a KOA. Kind of a rough neighborhood, and I am pretty sure a vehicle came in 2 nights for a few hours to hook up to the cable and watch TV, and leave.

We had a pleasant stay. The campground, overall, has improved over the last few years. We've stayed for a few nights each, the last 3 springs.

Our stay was most disappointing. This campground is poorly maintained. There are 8-10 cats roaming freely and one side of the campground has become their litter box. Small dogs come through rhe fence from trailerpark and roam the grounds. Tables flipped up on end while mowing are just left. Trash pick up did not occur Sunday and trash was left for 24 hours. We will probably not be back.

We had a good stay and really appreciate the women in the office who helped us move to a site more appropriate for our teardrop trailer than the one we’d reserved. It seems to be an older property and was kept clean and in good repair. However, the bathrooms were showing their age with peeling Formica and were just a bit rundown. They could use a refresh.

The campground was very quiet and it was a very nice place to stay. The desk people were very friendly and helpful. Already booked our next stay.

It was an okay RV park- in my opinion not up to KOA standards. We did not feel safe- there seemed to be alot of people around but not staying there. The place needed mowing and the workers were nice but not friendly- not like I expected from THE SOUTH.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The bathrooms and the whole project is clean. We are coming back in June for a weekday.

The sites are very narrow. Our picnic table had to be either against the water tower or basically right on top of neighbors sewer hookup. We could have a fire ring but really not enough room for one. Most all sites were that way. Would not return.

Had a great 8 day stay at the kampground. Staff was great and helpful. My only complaint was a lack of branded stuff to add to our collection of places we have stayed in our trailer. The only thing my wife could find was a very small decal. She usually gets a T-shirt or more.

Of all the KOA's we have stayed at, not only do they pick up the trash at your site, they also supply the trash bags for the duration of your stay. What a concept, Hospitality!!!

This KOA is convenient to downtown Charleston, several good plantations, grocery store, and Summerville. The hosts and workers were super nice. They were very accommodating to our visiting guests. I would stay here again. We received a very nice packet of maps and information on Charleston at the check in.

Sites were decent size, clean, check in was easy and she was friendly. Just didn't have the personal touch like other KOA's-- personal escort, wood drop off & didn't see anyone riding around checking sites like other KOA's

The office couldn’t have been nicer. The person who led us to our campsite immediately recognized that it was too small for us and got his supervisor who took us to another site. The staff told us about things to do in the area that were really fun and interesting. We definitely will visit this KOA in the future.

Overall I would rate this a 5 star. Bathrooms were very clean. However the area surrounding is definitely not the nicest. Had somewhat of an odd scenario happen as well while we were there * in the lot adjacent to the tent sites there was what sounded like a cat being attacked/beaten and then the sound of a metal pipe falling or being dropped*

Second worst KOA that I've ever stayed at. We had a sewer drainage problem that we brought to the attention of the Office 3 different times. I wasn't until we were getting ready to leave and I flagged down a couple of workers picking up trash did we get any response from staff. I left messages for Roger the manager, but I guess he was too busy to call me back.

Great location for visiting family and historical sites in the area. Very quiet and clean. Staff always friendly and accommodating.

The staff is always very friendly and professional. The facilities are well maintained. Clean bathrooms. The pool looks great, although it was too cool for us to use.

Campground is older, but facilities are maintained and kept clean. Some of the extended stay/pseudo permanent campers have been allowed to get a bit dumpy.

The camp itself is fine...relatively clean, really nice pool...some of the campsites pretty decent in terms of size and privacy. The only real issue is location...yes close to Charleston but basically right on a major road with literally constant traffic noise 24/7. Just hope your camper has good insulation. Other than that, several sites looking like people have abandoned their camper.

The sites are very close, there isn’t much privacy. It’s located on a very busy road with constant noise. It’s okay for a rest stop for the night but would not recommend it for a vacation-type campground due to the noise.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
