Stay was pretty good overall. This was just a one night stay for me while in town for an event. My only complaint would be the way campsites are assigned. There were not a lot of folks in the campground loop I was in so there were a lot of empty sites. It would have been MUCH nicer to have not assigned me a site right beside another camper/family when there were so many.empty sites around.

It was quiet, and very nice. Only complaint is the sites are very small. No room to move around on site.

Older KOA that is clean and well maintained. A pleasure to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Feral cat problem on the north side. Our spot was like a liter box. I told the lady at the desk and she said she knew about the problem and would send someone to help me clean poop up. Nobody showed. Permanent residents here also.

It was my first camper experience since I was a teenager. I’m glad I did it here. It was a learning experience.

I guess the Neighborhood next to the campground has full access to all the amenities as well as the paying guest. Probably the worst one I have stayed at and defiantly made me think about my locations of stay for the rest of our trip which was not at a KOA

Always friendly and helpful. Pool is clean, but laundry area could use a refresh. Sites are nice and the grounds are pretty.

We stay here regularly while visiting family. Super nice people. Very clean. Nice sized sites. Close to grocery stores and shopping. Very nice pool although we've never used it.

As with other recent stays here, all was good. The site was a tad on the short side, glad we brought the Mini instead of the truck. WIFI was decent.

Just got here last night and planning to stay a few days. So far what we expected. Seems like all the KOA are located real close to the highway and are directly under air flight paths.

Noise was an issue. Between whatever business it is on the other side of the fence (sawing and drilling sounds all day) and traffic noise, it was unpleasant. It was difficult getting out due to heavy traffic.

First of all I want to start off by saying that the staff was very friendly and informative. What I wasn’t thrilled about is the amount of cats roaming around. They were lounging on our picnic table, coming and going from under the fence and several seemed to congregate at our neighbors. I didn’t appreciate them laying on the steps of our camper, or spraying our tires.

It was a short stay. Campground was very clean. Staff was very helpful with questions I had due to the first time using any campground. Usually boondocking for us. Already a couple more weekends reserved.

2 night stay in a cabin was cozy. The pool area nice, clean bathrooms, all staff were busy. It would be great if there was a 1$ roll of paper towels in the bathroom. We could clean up some of our messes ourselves.

Most lots are level and some have more room between sites than others. Nice clean bathhouse. Cable TV provided has many channels. The pool looked nice but did not use it. Very convenient to Charleston Southern University (2 miles). Bath house is at front office; it would be nice to have another bath house at other end of park.

Enjoyed everything about our stay except the traffic in Ladson and Charleston. Everyone at the campground was very friendly, helpful, and nice to us!

A vast improvement since the last time a few years ago. Sites better maintained, many of the eye sore campers were gone. We will definitely be back again.

The campground was very clean and the pull through sites are very easy to enter and exit. I would recommend having some social events that everyone can participate in

Very pleasant, quiet campground. Management is very friendly and helpful. Stayed several weeks. Only criticism is that the sites need attention: muddy, lawn mower sank in and left mounds of mud at door, previous campers had destroyed grass with rug,so had a 10x12 mud bare spot!

Most of the sites looked level but ours was quite unlevel. We have traveled to 48 states in our motorhome and this is only the second time we couldn’t get level with the hydraulic jacks. We had to use blocks to get one end high enough (still not completely level but close enough).

Whatever business is right behind the campground was very loud at night all hours. The campground store however had great prices, bathrooms were always clean and employees were nice.

It was a five as far as our needs. We only stayed to visit family for 3 days. Staff was friendly, wifi good, channel selection was good. The pool was probably the cleanest pool I've ever seen at a campground. Our site was excelent with everything the ad says. Level and solid. Camp was only half full which was nice too. No problems at all. Good location, too.

We had a great Memorial Day stay! The pool was fantastic..lots of room and loved the hammocks. The staff was very friendly and responded immediately to any request we had. It was an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. It did rain and there was some pooling of water around some of our campers, but it drained quickly...after all it is called the "low country". Would definitely stay again. Update: we just stayed again for the 6th year in a row. They have stepped up their game with a few new additions around the campground and a dedicated maintenance crew that is on top of it. Highly recommend.

We enjoy our time at KOAs, however everything about this one was "off" in so many little ways which is not typical of the KOA brand. First it started with bad set of Google map directions in the welcome email which sent us 10 miles to a private residence. If you Google "Charleston KOA" for directions, it sends you to the correct location. Secondly, the tent site A10 is a parking logistics nightmare because of the close proximity of a metal grill, tree, shrub, dog waste container, and large RVs in the row across from our site. If a vehicle was in A11, our car doors would have hit each other due to the 2 feet difference in our adjacent gravel parking pads. An 8 foot fence does a good job of blocking out the ridiculously bright gas station floodlights. But the fence does not block the frequent emergency vehicle sirens from the highway (I've never heard so many sirens at night!) The bathrooms literally sparkles and are squeaky clean, however, do not hope for water pressure and hair shampooing in these showers (you'll want the phone # to their cleaning lady because she does such a great job!) Everyone is super friendly here and the curbside trash pickup was very nice amenity. The grounds are neat and tidy, water and electric at each site was convenient.
