Nice staff, clean bathrooms, very thorough with information about the area. Two suggestions: more grass/fix lack of grass at certain campsites, area near dumpster/K9 playground needs to be cleaned up a bit.

Poorly maintained. Cats running all over. Asked when we booked to be close as possible to the bathrooms and showers as I have a handicapped wife. We were out almost as far from the facilities as we could have been even though they were maybe 1/4 occupied. Worst KOA we have stayed at.

The cable TV was solid snow, I called the front but they said they were leaving soon. Wouldn't allow Wi-Fi on my fire stick so we had nothing for the evening.

All employees were very friendly and helpful. The showers were clean.

Someone stole my daughters stroller and the employees don't care to put Out of order signs on broken equipment. Neither the employees NOR corporate cares about any of this. I was told all of my complaints are a local problem but none of the local people care either. Never staying at a KOA again if I can help it.

When we arrived I stepped in dog crap from the neighboring site that looks like it had not been picked up in a week (several piles). The next day while doing laundry ran into a homeless individual that was using the KOA laundry facility. On the next morning of our stay we caught a couple walking away with one of our chairs which was strapped to the RV (cut straps) - a police report was filed.

Not sure why there were so many bad reviews, we really enjoyed staying here in Charleston. The campground was quiet and clean. Easy commute to/from downtown Charleston. Will definitely come back here again!

Friendly desk people, clean facilities. I’m the city, loud, police were called because someone was stealing from the campers and damaging property.

We had a two night stay and the campground was nice and clean and our grandchildren loved the pool. Only downside is noise from being so close to airport and military base.

Have stayed here many times. It's convenient to family in the area. I feel it's a little overpriced for what you get. Grass has needed cutting every time I've stayed. Far too many long term people staying here and it shows. WIFI is spotty at best.

Had a great stay as we explored Charleston. Nice park with amenities, hot showers, and laundry. Being in a Class B, we have everything but space, so the showers are something we look forward to!

Loved the friendly staff upon arrival. Loved the feeling of being in the forest, but yet close to Charleston. Park was green and nice, ample space between our site and neighbors, and the dogs enjoyed the K9camp. A very quiet and relaxing stay. There is a "Honky Tonk" not too far away which we discovered on our last night, great food and a fun time. We would return to this KOA.

A little noisy with things KOA cannot control (nearby airport and drag racers on Interstate) Overall really good customer service, cleanly facility. Good security with police monitoring. Enjoyed our stay

Loved the off-leash dog area. The campground was well maintained with beautiful landscaping, clean bathrooms, and super friendly staff.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the campground was disappointing. As a Holiday KOA it was the worse we have ever been too. Very small sites, lousy cable, internet OK, our patio site configuration was poor. Rest rooms were OK. Didn’t have near the Activities we would have expected from a Holiday

This Koa is ok But it is very noisy its next to an airport lots of airplanes coming in also they are next to a trauma center and lots of sirens at all hours Loud vehicles Staff was friendly the bathrooms were clean you did have to have a code to get in which Ive never seen . Price about average Grass could have been mowed at the time of stay

It's just okay. There is trash lying around, the trash pickup at each site was erratic at best (we watched the truck drive the outside rows, but skipped those of us on the inside). We hosted a rally for 12 coaches. The recreation room was okay, however I had to clean some really old food (expired in 2021) from the refrigerator and freezer. The freezer has items that have thawed, dripped & refrozen

The property needed a lot of cleanup. Our site had paper wrappers and plastic water bottles scattered around. The grass needed to be cut. Trash pickup was only once per day instead of twice. Many campers had several old cars parked next to their camper. The staff were nice and the lots were level. I would never stay there again.

We loved our stay at the campground. It is not a resort but it is a wonderful place to meet with a group and enjoy all the amenities of Charleston. Check in was very easy, the staff was most helpful and we were able to hook up easily. We will definitely use this campground again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked if a late check out was available. Unfortunately the convenience store did not provide much. Also there is a mobile home park very close and it tended to be noisy. The facilities inside the campground were well kept and the sites were very level. The sewer connection at the ground was not secured to the underground pipe.

Stayed here B4. Disappointed this time. Stray cats. And I travel with 2 so I am a cat fan. Loose dogs..oh they're friendly. Litter around dog park.actually saw workers bring collected bagged trash to dumpsters and throw.it.into Dumpsters but drive away leaving the litter that was laying around as.it was.

Overpriced. It in a mobile home development which I didn’t care for. Also the place is outdated and needs upgrading. TV reception was poor.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground was neat and clean. It was a windy day when we pulled in and the staff was picking up overturned garbage. When we requested a fire pit one was delivered quickly. Excellent.

Our stay at KOA Charleston - Holiday was GREAT! The staff was very helpful and gracious, and the facility and grounds were very clean and very up-to-date. We hosted a cookout and play day with our grandkids who live in the area and they thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the KOA campground. Wish we had found this GEM earlier. This hidden GEM is close to I-26 and we’ll definitely staying again

We stayed here on our trip back home. The staff was very helpful. The tent sites were a little small compared to the other KOA tent sites we have stayed at. All the sites were clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Worst KOA I ever stayed at. Share pool and laundry with non KOA campers. There is large trailer park right next door, residents appear use KOA facilities (laundry, pool). Gameroom was locked for our three day stay. Feral cats abound. They do not deliver firewood, I was told by staff 'we don't do thar'. At least police patrolled KOA at night saw them several times

We stayed here for a week while visiting Charleston. Close to Charleston. Level Sites, good wifi, good sewer and water connections. Trash pick up. Friendly staff. Nice pool, no hot tub though. Buildings were very dated and needed repair. The rec room was falling apart it seems and was locked most of the time. The landscaping needs a lot of attention here. Overgrown grass everywhere.

The staff was very nice, but it's NOT a very nice park. It really needs sprucing up. The cable didn't work & road noise from Hwy. 78. It's fine for an overnight stay, that's all.

The staff were helpful and polite. We had a nice stay, had to leave a day early due to water damage at our home from a storm on Sunday night. Despite having to leave early we were slightly uncomfortable with so many campers that pulled in on Sunday afternoon as in the area that we were in the sites are very close together while the other side of the campground had several empty sites available.

We liked the campground and the spot was large enough to fit our 40 foot motorhome but we had trouble leaving our pull thru site due to a power box in the camp spot. We would stay here again when visiting Charleston but would probably ask for a different pull thru due to the issue trying to get out of the campsite.

Quick 1 night stay Aug 31, 2023. Fast check in. Nice info packet upon arrival. They even had a free kitchen trash bag in it. They pick up trash at your site. Paved, not completely level, but close. Had enough room to stay hooked up to 36' 5th wheel, plus park a car sideways in front of truck. Just like all KOA's the place is well maintained and spotless restrooms. All employees kind and happy looking. Nice dog park. Had a 30lb propane tank filled at what I would consider a decent price. There were other amenities, but we didn't use them. A little bit of a noisy area, but we've been in worse. Would stay again.

Pretty cute little campground with an 8ft pool and playground with a game room! Most of the lots are pretty spacious!
