Smaller campground but well cared for, gracious hosts, and peaceful evening. Some traffic/aircraft noise but manageable. We’d definitely return if traveling in the area.

WiFi awful cable was not the greatest reception. The laundry facilities need to be addressed, sooner than later, as residents from the Nextdoor mobile park were using the facilities. Overall it was ok if you need a place to rest for the night. Not a place to stay for extended time

�Great experience with a minor hiccup. The staff is top-notch and the sites are clean and easy to navigate. I’d give it an A+ if it weren't for the cats. A neighbor was feeding them, which brought them right into our space. If you don't mind cats, this place is perfect, but it was the only downside for me.

We had a wonderful time at the Charleston KOA. The campground was nit only nice, but it was convenient to many places. The people were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We booked just 1 night here as we were passing through on our way to Edisto for Christmas. The only thing we enjoyed about this stay was the site itself. Spacious, nicely appointed and blown off from leaves etc. the staff was a 3/4 out of 10 at best. Not welcoming at all and made us feel like just the act of our arrival was taking time out of their day. We won’t be back and won’t recommend

During our stay, there was an unfortunate event of the power and wifi being out. The management put on a working site which was great. But, the management should do a better job of monitoring guests. We had a couple on the same row as us that came on to our site and made us feel very uncomfortable. They were asking very personal questions and were lacking in common curtesy. Very unpleasant trip.

Please make staff aware of when you are uncomfortable. We are always willing to look into fixing an issue for a more pleasant stay.

Served our purpose of a quick overnight stop. We didn’t use any of the amenities as we were in late and out early. After hours check in was easy. The pull through site was easy for us to navigate.

We stayed because it was close to the home we were moving out of. It turned out to be a great spot to stay. Convenient to the area and had a great staff that made us welcome.

The only downfall with this campground is that you're near the Air Force Base and those jets flying in and out can be quite noisy.

Very friendly staff, cleaning crew does a great job of sweeping the roads, dog park was well maintained, bathrooms were very clean & spacious, indoor games for kids/families was great fun on rainy/cold days, and trash was picked up multiple times per day. We had a wonderful time and met new friends. This KOA is close to the Joint Base Charleston for visits with loved ones.

We had a very restful stay at this location. It was convenient to I-26 and to downtown Charleston. Coffee every morning was great as well.

It was really nice. I personally liked that the office stayed open until 8 pm. The sites were very nice, mostly level. Wooded. Nice dog park. Trash was picked up twice a day which was nice.

We stay here whenever we’re visiting family for an extended period of time. The location is great for us. Everything is nice and well maintained. We didn’t interact with the staff very much, but they’re always friendly.

The campground was clean and well maintained. We didn’t use any of the other facilities while there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and we will stay here again.

Tons of unleashed dogs, says no fences, but there were people with dog fences, so we put a small one out for our mini when we were outside watching TV. We got a "nastygram" telling us we would get kicked out if we didn't take down. We put it away, but others left theirs out for their whole stay... It was also noted that even though they had a fence up, their dogs were unleashed outside it.

The sites themselves are nice, staff was great. However, the location has fire station nearby, Air Force base, highway, train tracks, and large mobile home park. The issue was not the site itself but the location.

Very Poor Stray Cats all over campground when brought to staffs attention not much care given told that they try and remove but always come back Noticed staff feeding them later that evening Futon Mattress absolutely disgusting no padding May as well sleep on top of planks Campground in need of some serious repair Staff really didn’t show interest in anything was told my shift at 8

Campground is not in a nice area. 7-11 next door has sketchy people , the mobile home park next door is a run down dump, our “ delux” patio site was up against thr parking lot where headlights shine on us and across from the propane refill. This is the eorsg KOA we have ever been to. We stayed one left and went elsewhere.

The camp ground was clean. The people were very polite and helpful. The one major downfall is the road noise and area noise. It was hard to sleep.

We had a great Memorial Day stay! The pool was fantastic..lots of room and loved the hammocks. The staff was very friendly and responded immediately to any request we had. It was an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. It did rain and there was some pooling of water around some of our campers, but it drained quickly...after all it is called the "low country". Would definitely stay again. Update: we just stayed again for the 6th year in a row. They have stepped up their game with a few new additions around the campground and a dedicated maintenance crew that is on top of it. Highly recommend.

We enjoy our time at KOAs, however everything about this one was "off" in so many little ways which is not typical of the KOA brand. First it started with bad set of Google map directions in the welcome email which sent us 10 miles to a private residence. If you Google "Charleston KOA" for directions, it sends you to the correct location. Secondly, the tent site A10 is a parking logistics nightmare because of the close proximity of a metal grill, tree, shrub, dog waste container, and large RVs in the row across from our site. If a vehicle was in A11, our car doors would have hit each other due to the 2 feet difference in our adjacent gravel parking pads. An 8 foot fence does a good job of blocking out the ridiculously bright gas station floodlights. But the fence does not block the frequent emergency vehicle sirens from the highway (I've never heard so many sirens at night!) The bathrooms literally sparkles and are squeaky clean, however, do not hope for water pressure and hair shampooing in these showers (you'll want the phone # to their cleaning lady because she does such a great job!) Everyone is super friendly here and the curbside trash pickup was very nice amenity. The grounds are neat and tidy, water and electric at each site was convenient.
