A 30 minute drive brings you downtown. Very quiet and clean. Our site was an island but that’s because of all the rain but other than that a wonderful stay.

The campground is great... well-maintained; helpful staff; friendly folks. We were in a pull-thru site and had no trouble entering or exiting. Level site. Good water pressure. Electric showed 117v on my Hughs monitor. The only drawback to this KOA is the surrounding neighborhood, which is sort of a light-industrial area. Lots of emergency sirens and loud industrial noise. Neither is a dealbreaker.

Not sure if the KOA was there before the trailer park moved in, or if the KOA was placed afterward. Either way was kinda of a shady location with a lot of people not associated with the KOA hanging around. The staff was great.

Friendly staff, park was very clean, drive thru site was assigned, level, gravel pad. Fire ring was provided at no charge and delivered to our site. Twice a day garbage pick up was an added plus. Will return again without hesitation.

Nice place. Train going by nearby at night a little annoying and a lot of sirens at night. Nice grounds!

Convenient to the areas we were visiting. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Grounds and sites well kept and maintained. Always saw various staff out and about. There was some noise as with any urban area but not so much that it was disturbing. Not many “critters”, squirrels, possums, or raccoons running around to get into things. Just a good experience all around.

I had some technical difficulties with my camper, and the staff was extremely helpful with my unfortunate problems.

The park was nice. The area was not. Very noisy because of the location. Ambulance, fire department, cars that give off excessive noise and aircraft. One thing I would like to mention is the maintenance personnel particularly a Rich was first class. He basically ran the operation and really cared about the customer.

On our way from Massachusetts to Daytona Beach we've been staying at this KOA for a few years now. The people are very friendly and accommodating. We've found the people camping there are also very friendly. The sites are kept up, easy to maneuver and the bathrooms are kept very clean. We'll continue to stay here on our trips south and highly recommend it.

Good wifi and cable. Clean A bit older, area is a lot of traffic and entrance is a bit sketchy at first. It's at a more run down area. Great location in and out of Charleston

We stayed from Nov.-Feb. The staff was great. Kim, Fatima, Anabel, Kathy, Stacy, Roger, Dave, Rich. Special thank you to Rich for taking care of the electrical issues at our site. Also, trying to update all the water and electrical issues throughout the Campground. He's incredibly hardworking and knowledgeable emploee. The girls were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Chuck/Karen T.

Stay was nice. Was surprised the Game Room was closed for the Season and this is a Seasonal Campground. Horse Shoe Pits were missing one Stake. Hard to use them like that. Grounds could by kept up better (Leaves, Sticks, ect). This KOA is surrounded by a Trailer Park. Payday must be Friday for the people that live there. Loud Music starts around 14:00 but eventually turns off. Friendly Staf

Pull thru site not big enough to accommodate our rig. Another KOA that should be designed ROA. Residence of America. A lot of permanent residents with cluttered sites. Not an enjoyable camping experience. Our site had trash and untidy.

Campground was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not a very scenic area, okay for overnight but dull if you are vacationing.

Nice roomy campsite. Easy in/out w/ travel trailer. The deluxe site made camping easy. We � Kamp K9. Great location for Charleston. The downsides were: I stepped out of the truck and immediately stepped into someone's dog's �� Poop. The cats running around made our dogs bark. Our stuff was covered in cat pee overnight. The women's shower didn't have enough water pressure to wash my hair.

As most of KOA's Charleston KOA is very clean and easy to access. The only drawback to the easy access is the noise, lots of car noise as well as emergency vehicle alarms. But over-all, we are not complaining because price was good, very easy access, very clean and good staff!

It’s not a bad place. It’s just on a Main Street. Constant sirens from ambulances and airplanes going over head. Very noisy.

We have stayed at this campground several times before because of the location. There needs to be some serious upgrades to the campsites. We arrived after dark and it was difficult to see where our site actually was due to all of the water standing on and around the site. Fresh gravel would help most if not all of the sites. We had this problem at another site a few years ago after a big rain.

The campground was very nice. The workers were friendly and the pool looked great. The neighborhood surrounding the campground was pretty shady though. I witnessed a couple of times people (locals) wandering through the woods and cutting through the campground to go up to the road - near the dog walk area. That part didn't feel too safe. Otherwise, we liked it.

Great place! Great staff! Some sites are spacious but some are tight. We were serenaded by a drummer in the nearby trailer park. They played nice jazz so it was enjoyable but if you don't like it you may want to ask for a site on the other side of the campground. There were some dogs that crawled under the fence to poop too. And a number of cats. But we enjoyed it Cuzco squirrels! Ha!

This is an awesome park with great employees! Rich the maintinence guy an Kim in the office were outstanding! Our site got flooded with the rain an Rich and his staff were very helpful removing as much water as they could! Would rate this park a 20 if I could!

Sites were very narrow. And although we asked for a site with some shade and there were several that offered this, we were assigned a spot that had someone parking where we would have put out our awning due to narrowness of site. The place was clean but it looked shabby -- very limited grass and therefore a lot of dirt and grit, tight spots so did not feel comfortable being outside.

Had a beautiful site, C1. The dump tube was a bit odd as it was very large in diameter, like the bottom of a one gallon bleach container. When I lifted the odd cover the water lever was about a foot below the top. I didn't use it so I don't know if it was actually functional but......

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
