Arriving late with no information was something I would like to see updated. Also I thought power and water was supposed to have hookup and I did not see that. Other than that it was ok

Directions we were sent in advance was very helpful as Google Maps put us up hwy several miles. Campground was OK but mobile home park on left and shared the entrance. Commercial business on right with bright lights that shown brightly into campground. Abandoned gas station at turn into campground. Transportation noise quite load - just not a neighborhood we want for a vacation.

Between the airplanes flying overhead and the trains blowing their whistles in the middle of the night, it was a very noisy park! The staff was friendly and helpful, but we were looking for a more relaxing and quiet get away!

I have been a KOA member for about 6years. We have stayed in a lot of KOS’s but this was the worst one ever. 1st the site was crappy, site #24. I had to block the right side up6to 8 inches. There was no fire pit, there was a swamp right outside our door. It rained and the water ran under our camper to the swamp. We paid for full hook up and I have 2 sections of sewer hose and still couldn’t r

Not the best location, it’s RIGHT NEXT to a shady mobile home park. You literally drive through entrance of mobile home park to get to KOA. Staff is friendly, trash pickup twice daily is nice. Playground is fair, but up front near entrance whereas I’d prefer it deeper in campground closer to camper. Many of the kids from mobile home park come over to use playground and b-ball court.

Check in was easy, staff was great and accommodating, my site was in the section nearest a busy highway, not as quiet as one would like but overall a great experience.

The park is nice and relatively clean. All the public facilities are very cleaned and will maintained although old. Most of the patrons were nice and respectful, but a few, that seemed to be permanent residents, were very loud. Starting their loud vehicles at 545 am and running them for 20 minutes, some were rude with their pets, allowing them to poop anywhere and not picking it up. Staff is nice

Although our site was nice ,it flooded when it rained. The showers were not clean and very small. Stray cats got into our little bag of garbage and made a mess. Bathrooms had no toilet paper. Laundry machines were filthy and outdoors. It is situated right next to a very rough looking trailer park.

We were only there 24 hours but the site we got was beautiful and had a nice pad. The flowers and the patio set up were beautiful

Site too close to major road with heavy traffic and emergency sirens all night long. Site is also in a flight path and heavy planes fly up until 10:30 at night. No security staff at night to keep other campers quiet at night.

We had a great stay with the exception of one problem. The sewer connection for our site was broken. We reported it to the front desk, and they said someone would be out to fix it. However, by the time we left, it was still broken. We were unable to use the system, but had paid for the access.

The park wasn’t necessarily that clean. A lot of brush around. Did see garbage pick up every morning but never saw much in the way of park clean up. Granted off season maybe but For the money there are better stays out there for sure. Also, not a park issue but stupid crazy fast and noisy drivers on road next. Not enjoyable for me.

They need to light the dog park for safety reasons. They have homeless in and out of the woods at times and vehicles parked there at times. The maintenance staff was great and the staff was very nice

When you pull in it looks awful. Trash all over the empty store with a homeless guy sleeping on the sidewalk. The trailer park kids where extremely loud and in the park till after dark playing basketball yelling. It's unfortunate but the very first thing you see is the Nasty trailer park when you pull in. The wi fi is almost non existence and the 6 days we where there the trash was in the road

We only stayed one night while passing through. The campground is a subset of a trailer park, same driveway. Turn left to the trailer park, right to the campground. The store was minimally stocked. There is a 24 hour gas station adjacent to the campground where a few homeless people were loitering between the campground and gas station on the only path. Several feral cats. Not sure how it's a KOA.

The area that surrounds the campground doesn't seem the safest, hints why there is a posted police officer there overnight that is walking around. The day it rained out campsite was flooded by 2-3 inches of water, leaving us with no choice but to walk to our vehicles barefoot and put our shoes on in the car.

Nice campground! We chose a cozy cabin and we're surprised to see all the little extras: fresh linens and towels, tv, bar table and stools. It made our stay very comfortable

Disappointed with the cable hook up,only able to get wifi TV even after the staff assisted and calling the 800 #. Location ok, too much traffic getting in and out of campground. Clean showers and, good hot water. The pool was in process of opening up. We never used it.

A 30 minute drive brings you downtown. Very quiet and clean. Our site was an island but that’s because of all the rain but other than that a wonderful stay.

The campground is great... well-maintained; helpful staff; friendly folks. We were in a pull-thru site and had no trouble entering or exiting. Level site. Good water pressure. Electric showed 117v on my Hughs monitor. The only drawback to this KOA is the surrounding neighborhood, which is sort of a light-industrial area. Lots of emergency sirens and loud industrial noise. Neither is a dealbreaker.

We had a great Memorial Day stay! The pool was fantastic..lots of room and loved the hammocks. The staff was very friendly and responded immediately to any request we had. It was an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. It did rain and there was some pooling of water around some of our campers, but it drained quickly...after all it is called the "low country". Would definitely stay again. Update: we just stayed again for the 6th year in a row. They have stepped up their game with a few new additions around the campground and a dedicated maintenance crew that is on top of it. Highly recommend.

We enjoy our time at KOAs, however everything about this one was "off" in so many little ways which is not typical of the KOA brand. First it started with bad set of Google map directions in the welcome email which sent us 10 miles to a private residence. If you Google "Charleston KOA" for directions, it sends you to the correct location. Secondly, the tent site A10 is a parking logistics nightmare because of the close proximity of a metal grill, tree, shrub, dog waste container, and large RVs in the row across from our site. If a vehicle was in A11, our car doors would have hit each other due to the 2 feet difference in our adjacent gravel parking pads. An 8 foot fence does a good job of blocking out the ridiculously bright gas station floodlights. But the fence does not block the frequent emergency vehicle sirens from the highway (I've never heard so many sirens at night!) The bathrooms literally sparkles and are squeaky clean, however, do not hope for water pressure and hair shampooing in these showers (you'll want the phone # to their cleaning lady because she does such a great job!) Everyone is super friendly here and the curbside trash pickup was very nice amenity. The grounds are neat and tidy, water and electric at each site was convenient.
