We love this KOA! A back in site on the creek is our favorite! Quiet beautiful spot. Great places to walk (large campground), cooling off in creek is fun, hiking and sightseeing in the country, fishing, all there and nearby. A great place to get away from it all.

This is our maiden voyage with the new camper. It started with very heavy rainfall. We had issues with getting heat and hot water with 3 hours to hook up. The management was aware of our situation, and even called us to see if we wanted to order pizza before they closed. They even delivered it to us in the terrible weather. Made our evening easier to deal with our situation. This place is Awesome

The stay was very relaxing. Our site was along the Schoharie Creek. Watching the eagles fly along the creek every morning was amazing. Hiking through the Mind Kill State Park was very nice and they offer disc golf too. Would highly recommend this campground.

My wife and I want to thank the KOA Catskill/Gilboa team for an incredible summer camping experience. Numerous upgrades to the campground have occurred since the Reinard family has taken over, making an already beautiful place truly exceptional. We are a third year seasonal returnee, love our site on the 100 level, and are surrounded by fantastic neighbors. Looking forward to May 2025!!

The staff is great. The park is beautiful and clean. They have so much to do. I have been a seasonal in this park for 39 years and this is the best it has ever been. Thank you Cathy and Staff.

I have a seasonal site at the campground and it is awesome. Sorry to see the season end. They accommodate children and adults. There is always an activity to keep you busy or stay at your site and enjoy peace and quiet. The owners, workers and other campers are all very nice.

This is an amazing campground. Very clean. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Activities and bands on the weekend provides fun things to do for all age groups. Water slides, pool creek. Very pet friendly

Spacious sites, friendly staff, activities for kids. The halloween haunted trail at night was outstanding. best wi fi I've used for a Campground. Look foward to coming back.

The site was out in the open and backed up to the creek. There was a lot of brush so you could not see the creek. Would have preferred a wooded site. It was October, so we heard leaf blowers most of the day. The check in building/store was up on a hill so be sure to drive up there first when checking in. Bathhouse was very clean. Overall, it was ok but you are in the middle of nowhere.

Thank you we do work really hard to keep our park clean for our guest and appreciate your acknowledgeent. Park closes right after Columbus so much prep work needs done during the week - we work very hard not to do things to interrupt our guest on weekends. We also have addressed our brush for view

We enjoyed the beautiful campground and new upgrades. We had our 5th wheel there every year for about the last 11 years, the last 4 as seasonal. We met many new friends and enjoyed many activities. Great place to get away and relax! ���

Not the most friendly of staff. Too many rules that don’t apply to all. Pricing is very subjective for seasonals . Not very family oriented when it comes to visitor pricing it changes for holidays.

Sorry you did not find a good fit with our campground. Rules are for the safety of everyone and our visitor fees are higher always for our special events and special weekends and Holidays. Everyone here gets to enjoy the extra activities and entertainment - seasonal also pay for visitors

Our say was above and beyond. Cathy and her staff are very welcoming and friendly. The grounds are kept very clean. And loved all the activities offered to kids and adults. We will be back for the 2025 camping season.

We had a nice flat level site and plenty big enough. There were plenty activities. Bingo with propane heat lamps! We loved the Halloween Haunted Trail.

We had a great stay at CATSKILL MOUNTAINS/GILBOA KOA! We went the last weekend of the season and I thought we would have missed out on some amenities, but they did not disappoint. The owners did a wonderful job of making improvements over the previous year when we were there last. The location is amazing. We will be back.

It was our first extended (4 week) stay. We have since booked for the entire season next year.

I found the campground absolutely gorgeous. It was very open and clean. Wifi was the best I have ever experienced. The reason I did not give a 10 and a 5 is I did not feel they were very dog friendly and the workers were not very welcoming. I realize it was the end of the season but the workers were grumpy and they spoke to you with an unwarranted stern tone and had a poor demeanor.

Happy you enjoyed our spacious park. We have 2 dog parks and lots of walking paths for your fury friends and yes we do require all to be on a leash. Last two weekends are our huge Halloween weekends with added activities and trails which require all our staff extra work so our apologises truly.

we like to go camping and spend time with friends and family that we don't get to see often. When we call and try to get spots next to each other why can't we ? We had five campers there columbus day weekend all split up.

Best KOA we’ve stayed at such friendly staff very accommodating nice amenities. Wish it was summer so we could have used the pool! My sister rented a new cabin, nice cabin & great view. She did wish it had a toaster

The camp was wonderful had a great time..the people in the office and camp very nice…got in late and had to call you were very nice took us to the site and helped with setup but we just did the electric and finished the next day…sorry we came in late…let to see the water park ll

We stayed the first of 2 Halloween themed weekends. Everything went smooth, from check in to all the events and activities. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. The weekend event alone was worth the trip!! not to mention some fall foliage and great weather. All in all highly recommend this KOA to anyone looking to relax and have activities or events for the kids.

site was large and clean upon arrival, staff was super friendly and courteous to us at all times. We had the honor of meeeting the owner of the park and Cathy was a super friendly owner who demonstrates her sense of pride inthe property. We will and are planning to return to the park again in the 2025 season.

This was the best campground we visited in North America. The internet wifi was absolutely great. The staff were very friendly, well organized and very helpful. The fact that we were able to fill up our propane tank on site was also great. The Halloween festival was elaborate and very well organized. The whole team from Catskill Park was enthusiastic. What an experience. Thank you for that.

Had a great time! Facility was very clean and well organized. Might want to think about cutting some of the acorn trees - falling acorns woke us up all night.

We love this campground! This KOA has it all. It is beautifully located in the Catskill Mountains and offers great views and access to the Schoharie creek. The creek has a nice cliff background, deep area for you to swim, raft and fish! The campground also has a nice in-ground pool, loungers, and several waterslides for the kids. There is always something to do here or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet of the large sites. My family loves playing candy bingo, listening to the bands and DJ parties at the pavilion, the constant different fun themed weekends, the crafts for adults and kids, and tons of games. The campground is nice and secure and offers great biking and a playground second to none. The staff is amazing and the Owner is constantly making improvements throughout. You can see the pride that is put into this place. The bathrooms are always maintained clean as a whistle and the laundry facility is nice. With full hookups, there is honestly nothing else you could want at a campground. I've camped at several State, private owned campgrounds and KOAs and this one is hard to beat!

We absolutely love staying here! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The campground is beautiful, clean, and so well maintained, with gorgeous mountains and beautiful Schoharie Creek, the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family. There are so many fun activities for both kids and adults, and the sites are spacious and well cared for. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a fun family camping trip, this campground truly has it all. You can tell how much pride and heart goes into this place. We've made so many wonderful memories here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience!

This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL campgrounds that I've ever seen! The creek made my husband so happy as he caught fish every day! I bird watched, star gazed, rode my bike, relaxed and absorbed all of the beauty. This was our 2nd May visit and we will be back again next year! Highly recommended!
