Really dusty, u need a water truck to keep the dust down, squirrels are a problem ripping apart garbage. thanks

The campground was very nice and our sight was absolutely perfect. We will be back. The one thing that would have been great is if they had golf cart rentals.

We loved the quiet, the green mountains and the pool. However we booked a riverfront site, but had no view of the river as the bank was overgrown. We would not have booked that if we had know there would be no view.

WE cut the river bank monthy. This year with all the rain it has been growning quite quickly. We will be staffing to cut it more frequently when the ground is dry enough we do not have to worry about staff slipping..

We love this site and already have our next trip booked. This trip was a great one as we were able to hit the water slides which was the highlight for our two littles. They also did the craft time. We skipped the evening events as those haven’t been up our alley and we like to be at the site making smores. Our nearest bathhouse which is a nice one was down and the main one is definitely rust

The camp ground at KOA Catskills/Gilboa was amazing. It was very clean, spacious and quiet. Everyone was very friendly as well. We will definitely be back.

I had a last minute change of plans, and I chose to check out this campground. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Beautiful park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My dog made many new friends, as well.

First time camping and did it in the cabin, which exuded my expectations. The people here are what makes it spectacular. The safety and security in camp are top notch, while allowing all guests to be free and comfortable. The water slides were a hit with the kids, as well as having Jayne around camp. Genuine to her core and all that is good in the world. Thank you all for giving us a great weekend

Very nice campground. Bathroom was very clean. Other campers were courteous. The river was clean and fun to float in. I will be back!

I enjoyed this campground, lots of amenities. We stayed July 4th weekend & they had a 'snafu' on fireworks on FRI nite, but they reset & had the show on SAT nite instead. The only reason, I couldn't give it a perfect score because site#552 was in a low spot on the campground. It rained & the site was in 4" of standing water. NO gravel on sites, just mud/grass. Took a while to drain

It was good. The gate was not pleasant. Never could get through. Reason our plate number never inputted in the system even though we emailed it and gave it to staff at time of registration. Annoying!!

We apologize about the gate. It was easier before we became a KOA as that reservation software integrated with our license plate reader. Now we have to manually input each plate in to the licnese plate reader system which does result in typing errors. KOA needs to allow more 3rd party integrations.

We absolutely love staying at this campground! The staff is friendly and attentive. We were disappointed with our site and head of maintenance found us a new one and listened to our input of how to make original site more enjoyable Our dogs love the park , the views breathtaking and grounds perfect

As KOA campers for over 20 years we found this campground to be somewhat lacking in certain areas. The overall communication between staff and guests was not at all efficient. "Word of mouth" and Facebook was not the means of communication to let guests know of cancelled and/or rescheduled activities. We were not impressed with the very few dumpsters and bathrooms throughout the 95 acre campground

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. You stayed on the only level of our park that does not have its own bathroom & dumpster. I can tell you this was the most difficult we have ever had as we were dealing with a medical emergency at the same time everything else was happening.

Water slides were not open long enough, couldn’t use the pool due to to many people there, the staff at check in were very rude to me as well as my guest who checked in after us as well. No golf carts allowed, the store is far from some of the sites so car had to be driven. The seasonal people who were next to us were very rude to the children who were playing and “ making to much noise”.

Because the slides have to be supervised and they use a tremendous amount of fresh water, It is not possible for them to be open longer especially on a holiday weekend. Our insurance carrier does not allow us to permit guests to bring carts. We are planning on renting carts next year.

Always a wonderful campground. So large and so much to do. We are return guests that will continue to return and spread the word about how amazing this place is. Thanks for a great 4th of July. Despite the weather and other challenges you guys still managed to pull off a great eventful weekend! 10 out of 10 would recommend again and again!

They have a large playground, pool, water slides, and a river to enjoy. They also worked hard to give us a firework show for July 4th. Everyone is friendly and ready to help. This is our second stay at this beautiful, and clean KOA.

Stayed for the 4th of July weekend! It was fun! They had a mix up with the fireworks but did their best to make it a good weekend and found someone else to do them last minute! They were okay! We always have a good time with all our family and friends there! We will be back there for Christmas in July!

Love this location - great waterslide area. Unfortunate that this section of river requires payment for the public to enjoy. Pool hours are too short - there is no lifeguard on duty, why restrict to 7pm? Cancellation policy is unfair - attempted to be reimbursed 24 hours in advance but was told no.

Pool hours have nothing to do with lifeguarding and everything to do with water filtration. Most of our guests use the creek, they love floating in it. Unfortunately many of those guests do not shower or change swimsuits before using pool. Filtration and algaecide at night is what keeps it clean.

Crowed campground. Not really what we look for in a campground. Pool was filled past capacity. Unrully kids at the creek. Fireworks planned cancled and rescheduled after we made other plans.

We enjoyed the stay, and had a great site. The down fall was the amount of dogs that are not kept on leashes and it was not enforced. We had our 6 month old puppy and we had 3 run ins where unleashed dogs came at her.

Our staff does make an effort to make sure all guests have their dogs leashed. We do talk to every guest we see with an unleashed dog. I am sorry that you had issues with unleashed dogs. I wish you would have reported the situations to the office so that we could have rectified the situation.

The staff went above and beyond for our stay during 4th of July weekend. Not many business owners would drive to each site and personally apologize for something beyond their control. It was a hot weekend and they never lost their smiles. We love coming to this campground, they always make us feel like we’re apart of their family.

I called the store to see if they had any leveling blocks they said no but they did have some they would loan me brought them right to my campsite everything was fantastic

Being an older park and moslty grassy sites depending on the size of the rig a guest might have a problem gettign level. Glad those loaned out blocks worked for you.

We had a great weekend at the campground! One thing that really stood out was the outstanding customer service. When the scheduled fireworks were canceled, the staff quickly pivoted and found another vendor on very short notice. One negative, your firewood wasn't seasoned and difficult to keep a flame. Overall it was a wonderful time and we will definitely return. The eagle flying the river=epic!!

We have been going for years before it turned into a KOA. The park is clean and I like that they will deliver ice. Shame that Escooters are not allowed due to the size of the campground and that the water slides were only open 1-4. The pool only being open until 7 is tough too when you go with kids and its 100 degrees all weekend. The arcade games are outdated and kept eating the kids money.

Campgrounds live and die by waht their insurance carriers will and will not allow. No scooters. Filtration time is needed for the pool due to the creek. We want to keep the water clean and safe. We don't own the games - agree they are outdated and are considering just removing.

We love KOA Gilboa. There is always fun stuff to do with kids , such as water slides, pool and crafts.The staff is very friendly. People are respectful of rules and don’t blast their music as at some other campgrounds. We will definitely be back!

Pool not open early enough and closed to early. Also the store had off season hours. Then I needed Propane and waited 40 minutes before I left and never got the propane.

Our hours for our pool are 11-7 and that is not going to change ever. We have way too many people who swim the pool without changing their swim suit after being in the creek. We need the filtration time to keep they pool safe for everyone to use.

We first came in 2025 and absolutely fell in love. The campground is clean, big and quiet. However we stayed along the river this time and we were disappointed with the view. The bushes were overgrown and you could not see the creek. Our friends had stayed here last year and you could see the water which is why we booked this spot. It was the only downside to our trip. We love this campground.

We love this campground too. It has been an incredibly rainy season as you know. And we can't have staff falling down the bank trying to cut down the bamboo which is an invasive species when the bank is slippery. It was on the schedule for this week but now the forecast during the week is all rain

Best camping trip ever. Amazing facility, and the beautiful location. Very courteous staffs, easy check in and check out. This was my first trip with rv trailer, had difficulty backing up, the staff helped me do that. It has nice playgrounds for kids, live music in the evening, pool, bouncing inflatables and so on highly recommend .

Just wanted to take a moment and give this KOA a five star review, we've stayed here many times and it's always an enjoyable experience. The staff went above and beyond for the 4th of July weekend - when the fireworks that were scheduled fell through they personally drove around to campsites apologizing to everyone. After having a conversation with staff members we learned about the other struggles they were having throughout the weekend yet they continued to show up and do the best they could to ensure everyone was having a good time. We greatly appreciate them and all the work they put into making this one of our favorite places to visit.
