Site 409 - loved the site and love this park! Each area had its own “green space” which I love! You don’t feel jammed in or crowded by your neighbor. Plenty of places and trails for walking, nice dog park, little be the weekend entertainment. Can’t wait to visit again!

We enjoyed the stay, but things have changed quite a bit from when we stayed here about 8 years ago. We had a birthday party and each person who came to our site had to pay $10 entry fee, and could not drive their vehicles in. We had to pick everyone up and bring them back to their cars at the end of the night which became a huge hassle. Still had fun though.

There has always been a visitor fee to come in. We do not have a parking lot inside the campground to park. You are only allowed 2 cars per site.

Stay was great. We love it there. Only suggestion was that the grass in spots 404 and 405 was a little long. Otherwise we look forward to coming again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the clean bathrooms and store and everyone was quiet and nice. I think it would be a good idea to get a heater for your pool and a couple more activities for the little kids (maybe kids fishing etc.) but we had fun. DJ was also pretty loud in pavilion and a few notches lower would have brought out the kids and adults to the floor. All in all great stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Gilboa KOA! We will definitely be returning. The grounds were very well taken care of and bathrooms were immaculate. The pool was so refreshing and clean. This was an awesome place to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Thank you to all of the friendly staff at the KOA.

We stayed here for a full week and enjoyed it so much! The staff was always friendly and helpful. Views are beautiful. Pool and bathrooms were very clean. We stayed at a creekside site and had plenty of space. Fishing was good onsite and there’s so much to do in neighboring towns. Our daughters enjoyed biking through the grounds as the loops are easy to navigate. We will definitely return!

A wonderful camp site, and the selected site we had had a wonderful view. Our only negative feedback is the firewood sold, was below par and would not burn as well as the bath house located nearest our site needs shoe brushes out side as well as rubber mats inside to possible reduce the debris on the floor from those entering and using showers.

Loved the site we had. The only problem was they mowed and weed whacked 2 days in a row in the dog park we were by and the smell was terrible of urine for quite a while. Not sure why they had to mow 2 days in a row. Otherwise totally enjoyed our stay.

The water supply was too far from the other hook ups necessitating the purchase of a 50’ fresh water hose.

Catskill KOA is a hidden gem. Sites are spacious, park is well kept. The campground is beautiful and woodsy. The views are breathtaking. The dog park was really nice, clean, large and even has a table with an umbrella for the pet parents. Plenty of things to do, corn hole horse shoes water slides for the kids and a pool. It is a very large campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff is helpf

We had (in my opinion) the nicest RV site in the campground. The creek is what makes this campground so appealing to me. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always something to keep the kids entertained as well.

Grounds are set up very nicely and easy to get around. The only minor downside I can think of is having to travel a ways, through the gates, and up the hill to get items from the store.

This trip was our 7th time back going back to 2008. Each time we come back there are improvements. I like the new entrance, it's easier to make the trun into the campground. I like being escorted to our site. The cable had been much improved and we now had limited wifi service at our site(262). We had a great time and we will be back to camp again.

We had a patio site. It’s nice to use the furniture there and the deck-clean and neat! The fire rings are large and the designs are fun to watch the Fire through. The river was awesome to float in. The water slides are a fun activity for kids and adults! The pool was a great place to relax in the afternoons. We can’t wait to book the glamming tents! All in all, clean and well managed.

We enjoyed the stay… great people, awesome atmosphere, lots to do with the pool, creek, slides and camp ran activities. Our ONLY complaint would be the dirt site we experienced. It caused a lot of extra cleaning and a need to set up our pop-up at home to clean it. We would definitely go to your KOA again, however we would be more selective with ensuring our camp site wasn’t pure dirt.

Pleasant staff. Escorted to site. Our site was very standard back in with fhu. Site is grass. Roads in graded dirt. Beautiful mtn area. Did not use any amenities.

Friendly staff, very roomy site and level. My only little complaint is the check in, having to park at gate and walk back and up the hill to the office is kind of a concern. Otherwise our stay was very nice, and we enjoyed the band Saturday night. We look forward to staying there again.

Wonderful stay! This campground truly has everything, especially for families! As older adults, my sister and I enjoyed our hikes, bike rides and river tubing! Loved the shop on site that had any essentials that you may have forgotten. Staff was super friendly, incredibly helpful and kept the grounds beautiful. We are already planning our next trip there!

I’ve already been telling friends and family about the beautiful Catskill mountains gilboa Koa. Easy check in process. The campground was HUGE. Perfect for exploring on a bicycle. The river water looked like the Caribbean. Lots to explore, the pool was fabulous. Even adults could go on the blow up water slides. So much fun. Thank you. We will be back.

Stayed during the week - very peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me choose a site that would give me enough room for my toy hauler. Power and water pressure were good. WiFi was good for the most part. T-Mobile 4G was usable also. Grass was worn out on the camp side - OK as long as it does not rain. Lots of seasonal sites - which says a lot. Would stay here again.

The campground was maintained very well. There were many activities to do including a beautiful creek you could swim in and sit by. The workers were very nice and very organized. They meet you right at the gate and show you to your campsite. The bathrooms were in excellent condition as well. Very clean

We loved our stay! The sites are a nice size and level. We stayed by the river. It was quiet and only one area over from the pool and other activities. An easy walk. Restrooms were clean, they had a laundry area. Wi-Fi was wonderful and strong which was important because my cell service was just ok. Lots of tv stations available for that rainy moment. Stores, food 5 miles away.

We love this campground! This KOA has it all. It is beautifully located in the Catskill Mountains and offers great views and access to the Schoharie creek. The creek has a nice cliff background, deep area for you to swim, raft and fish! The campground also has a nice in-ground pool, loungers, and several waterslides for the kids. There is always something to do here or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet of the large sites. My family loves playing candy bingo, listening to the bands and DJ parties at the pavilion, the constant different fun themed weekends, the crafts for adults and kids, and tons of games. The campground is nice and secure and offers great biking and a playground second to none. The staff is amazing and the Owner is constantly making improvements throughout. You can see the pride that is put into this place. The bathrooms are always maintained clean as a whistle and the laundry facility is nice. With full hookups, there is honestly nothing else you could want at a campground. I've camped at several State, private owned campgrounds and KOAs and this one is hard to beat!

We absolutely love staying here! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The campground is beautiful, clean, and so well maintained, with gorgeous mountains and beautiful Schoharie Creek, the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family. There are so many fun activities for both kids and adults, and the sites are spacious and well cared for. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a fun family camping trip, this campground truly has it all. You can tell how much pride and heart goes into this place. We've made so many wonderful memories here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience!

This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL campgrounds that I've ever seen! The creek made my husband so happy as he caught fish every day! I bird watched, star gazed, rode my bike, relaxed and absorbed all of the beauty. This was our 2nd May visit and we will be back again next year! Highly recommended!
