A tree was had fallen and removal was not complete, which left the stump, wood debris and a dirt hole that prevented me to park my camper where it should have been. Therefore, site next to mine, was a bit tight. Good thing they were pleasant campers. When i asked the front office about it, I got passed around to others & nothing. The site was being cleaned up 'as I was packing' to leave. Site 626

I am the owner of the park and I asked my staff for background.They said they had spoken to your husband about everything. Unfortunately, trees do die and need removal and we are always going to do it during the week rather on a weekend to disturb as few a guest as possible. I apologize.

We had one of the pull thru site on level 200, would be prefect if they moved the sewer, water and electric to the opposite side of the site, the way it is now, you exit your door almost on to the road .

Beautiful campground but they don't pick up trash. One of the perks that I choose KOA

KOA’s are not required to pick up trash at site. But obviously you usually camp at one that does so you are under the erroneous impression that is a KOA thing.

Another amazing trip at this Gilboa Catskill mountains KOA so many activities for the kids between the pool waterslides and the swimming hall in the river, clean facilities, friendly staff, a great campground and camping experience and there happen to be an amazing country band on Saturday evening under the pavilion that was great.

Great location. Nice amount of activities on site for the family. Waterfront campsites were amazing. Sites are very close to each other, but still worked out well. Large campground overall which was great for the kids to roam around.

It would be nice if you had golf cart rentals or allowed transients to bring their own. You have a large and beautiful park but it is very hilly. It makes it hard to walk around. That’s the only reason for the 4 Star.

We intend to offer golf cart rentals in 2027. We tried to get it in place for this season but had way to many insurance hurdles to accomplish it for this year but we have it figured out for next season. Glad you enjoy your stay anyway.

Nice stay in this campground by a pretty stream! Clean and well maintained campground. Pool area was also well kept.

What a beautiful park. It is convenient to waterfalls and hiking trails. The roads in the park are bicycle friendly (5 MPH). The people were really nice and helpful (a shout out to Jane and her much appreciated golf cart lift to the Registration desk). The creek was a peaceful moment with a quiet walking path to it. 2 dog parks. Clean facilities.

This campground is beautiful and extremely well maintained. Bathhouses was spotless and our site view was incredible. This was our second stay at Gilboa.

Lovely area. The light on the Pavillion should have a shade to direct the light downwards. It is way too bright and shines all the way down to the creek, shining in camper windows and ruining star gazing. Wonderful staff!

In seeing your comment, I am wondering if we left lights on by mistake. Our night time lighting has motion detectors and would not have been on all night. We pride ourselves in being star gazing friendly. Will bring this up at this weeks staff meeting.

Our favorite campground so far! Bathrooms are clean, sites are very spacious, beautiful pool, playground, and water slides. Loved the food truck and live music that was there when we were. River is beautiful and perfect roads for bike riding! Also affordable! We will be back!

This was our first time here. It’s a beautiful property and huge . We had a waterfront spot that was large and level and on gravel . I just wish the greenery at the back of the spot was a bit lower so we could have a view of the water - but it is what it is . That being said we will return , the weekend entertainment was great , the food truck was an added bonus . Lots of activities for kids to

The greenery on the bank is a plant not indigenous to the area. We cut down the bank multiple times a season. It is a never ending battle. But we can't remove it as we also need it for river bank stablization.

Beautiful spot and the camper ground was nicely laid out very spacious. Views of the river are amazing. Close to great hiking spots as well.

Staff was all very nice, polite. RV Sites were clean and roomy. Internet was strong!

The staff were absolutely wonderful! Betty kind and enthusiastic. The bathrooms were a little smelly, i wish they had been cleaned more, and i wish there were more of them. But the location is gorgeous, the kids had a blast at the water slides, the food trucks were great, and the set up was gorgeous.

We have many more bathrooms in the park. Just not on the tent level. Before we puchased the park the only thing up there was an outhouse. Bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day but the tent area gets the most use. Next time drive down the hill to our main bathhouse. Parking lot is right by it.

All was great except the WiFi was horrible between 7-11p.m...need to upgrade

We are in the middle of an upgrade and the process has been painful. We had good wifi and in wanting to make it amazing we find that the reprogramming and partioning process is taking way longer than we thought and causing areas of the park to not work at times. Very frustrating to us too.

Everything was great! Maybe think about renting golf carts for your weekenders. Lots of walking which I didn’t mind but some folks can’t walk all the hills.

WE agree wwith you. WE tried to get a lease in place this year so we could rent golf carts but didn't get one it quickly enough. We will have golf carts for next season to rent.

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved the large sites! We stayed in site 517. Everyone was friendly, beautiful grounds, well maintained and lots for campers of all ages to do.

This was, by far, one of the best campgrounds we have stayed in. From the highest level of efficiency in operations to the top notch facilities, we were very impressed with this KOA campground. Though it is pretty large, the sites were not crowded, the entertainment was terrific and the staff both knowledgeable and genuinely kind. It really is a five star campground!

We love your KOA! We have stayed two times and will definitely be back. We love the lagoon to swim in. The pool is nice and clean. The live music is fun. And people really do abide by this silent times so you can get a really good night sleep. 10 of 10.

This is one of the better KOA's we have stayed at. Very well maintained and lots of activities. Is such a large campground that there is lots of open space and also plenty of areas to be away from the activity if you choose. Sites are not packed in together in most of the campground. Will be back again when in the area.

This was by far one of the best KOA locations we have stayed at. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate even with the heavy storms that came a day earlier. Staff is always floating around to help with grounds or set up the many many activities. My daughter was bummed we missed the bounce houses - we didn't realize summer hours didn't start yet.... so I guess we just need to come back! Amazing!

First night was so quiet and peaceful, second night I had kids going into my campsite but once quiet hour hit it was great. Staff was wonderful, campsites were nice and clean.

Campground is spacious, with clean well kept sites. The food delivery service was an unexpected, but welcomed, convenience! Bathrooms are spotless, and the dog washing area shows your special attention to detail. Beautiful campground!

Love this KOA! Have stayed many times, always in a waterfront site. Nice sites with ample space between with a mix of sun and shade. Very well kept and clean in a beautiful quiet spot in the Catskills Mountains. The creek is crystal clear and is the home to eagles, deer, and this trip a big beaver! Love this place!

Best camping trip ever. Amazing facility, and the beautiful location. Very courteous staffs, easy check in and check out. This was my first trip with rv trailer, had difficulty backing up, the staff helped me do that. It has nice playgrounds for kids, live music in the evening, pool, bouncing inflatables and so on highly recommend .

Just wanted to take a moment and give this KOA a five star review, we've stayed here many times and it's always an enjoyable experience. The staff went above and beyond for the 4th of July weekend - when the fireworks that were scheduled fell through they personally drove around to campsites apologizing to everyone. After having a conversation with staff members we learned about the other struggles they were having throughout the weekend yet they continued to show up and do the best they could to ensure everyone was having a good time. We greatly appreciate them and all the work they put into making this one of our favorite places to visit.
