We loved it as a weekender. As a seasonal nothing but problems. Septic was leaking and when brought to the managers attention was told to let it leak.on the ground. Pulled out early to go somewhere else, was taking out of system as seasonal before end date. Was going to go back last weekend because weather was nice but was already taken out of system. When questioned different answers were given

I know I personally spoke to you about free pumpouts until we could repair the site after we closed for the season. As I said to you at the time staff member never should have made the suggestion they did. If you want to come back and camp for a visit please email me directly and I will comp a site

We have been a seasonal camper at Catskill Gilboa KOA for the past few years. My wife and I love the spacious site we have our fifth wheel camper parked on, thoroughly enjoy our neighbor seasonal campers on the 100 level, and can't wait until next April next year. The park staff is always there to meet any request we may have. The park amenities are the best in the area!

Beautiful campground run by friendly and fun people. A great place for kids to be kids and all to enjoy the outdoors! Love all this campground has to offer.

This is was our second year there, and we’ll be back again next year. The grounds are beautiful, clean, and spacious. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Your campground is big and beautiful. I was impressed. The sites are well spaced and the facilities are very nice. My only negative comment is that the firewood you sold was not seasoned and mine and ever campfire around me had excessive smoke

We were there at the end of the season when the park was mostly quiet. The grounds and facilities were clean and well kept, the staff was friendly. The park is huge! Lots to do including creek access and a salt water pool!

Very clean facility. Beautiful location. Great time of year to visit (Oct) bc it was very quiet with NO other campers in our section. Check in process was long, not sure why an escort was needed to the site. Would only stay there in the off season since we are not the type of campers that enjoy sites right next to each other. But was a convenient way to get through a chilly night.

Park is quite large and previously before becoming a KOA we would find guests drivng around lost. Having an escort is part of the KOA experience and most guests like that we do it.

Stayed in our travel trailer 3 nights, our sites were backed up to creek which was nice but directly in the sun and was quite hot. Plenty other sites with shade for next time. Band was playing one night during the Halloween wknd, they were good!! Enjoyed our stay

Our second trip to this KOA and it’s an awesome family campground ! The entire staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. We met the owner Carol who was just driving around and checking on things and chatting with guests. So rare these days to see such a hands on owner. They truly care about your camping experience. We definitely will be returning and bringing our camping friends.

Most of the sites are very spacious. Ours (405) backed up to the creek and it was lovely! The grounds were very clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly. There is no delivery fee for pizza, wings and fire wood. The dog runs are so well kept and very big. Our three dogs loved the one we frequented. I highly recommend this KOA.

The gate system is very inconsistent. Supervisor/owner in the store was rude to a few members of our camping crew. We are all repeat customers and to be accused of not registering or not presenting a license plate or rabies certificate made for a few uncomfortable moments. We hope to camp again next season, but respect goes a long way in the hospitality profession.

Gate system ocassionally has a problem reading plates if the drive doesn't pull straight in. We too agree that customer service is very important and apoligize that our interactions with you all dissapointed your group this trip.

The staff was very responsive. The cabins were clean, new and very nice. RV sites were large and spaced apart for privacy. The bathrooms were clean and well kept.

This place is so clean and fun. The only thing I would tighten up is dogs. I have two dogs and they are always in the gated area we put up and walked on leashes. I have noticed people don’t tie up their dogs on some sites. They just let them sit by the camper and even though those dogs seem mellow, anything can happen… they are dogs after all.

Absolutely LOVE this campground! Campground is beautifully maintained, spacious sites, friendly and helpful staff, and lots of activities for both children and the whole family. Highly recommend Gilboa KOA.

We stayed for two nights and the only complaint was we didn't book one of the lovelier sites - next time. Bathrooms were really nice and there looks like there are lots of activities and amenities.

Loved the large sites and open space of the campground. People and staff were very friendly. Bathhouse was very clean. The stars on a clear night were amazing. It was very quiet not being near highways and train tracks. Looking forward to camping here again.

We started camping here when it was Nickerson's and have continued coming back each year. Love all the improvements, very clean, well kept grounds and lots to do. Sites are so spacious which is a must for us. Quietest campground we stayed at ever and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Will definately continue to return.

The grounds are clean and very spacious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t have any small children, it looks like a great place to bring your kids and family. Has something for everyone We will return here again for possible longer stay and would recommend.

We try to also do some adult activities as well, corn hole and horseshoe tournaments, tastings and adult crafts. Hopefully next time you can enjoy one of these.

We love this campground! This KOA has it all. It is beautifully located in the Catskill Mountains and offers great views and access to the Schoharie creek. The creek has a nice cliff background, deep area for you to swim, raft and fish! The campground also has a nice in-ground pool, loungers, and several waterslides for the kids. There is always something to do here or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet of the large sites. My family loves playing candy bingo, listening to the bands and DJ parties at the pavilion, the constant different fun themed weekends, the crafts for adults and kids, and tons of games. The campground is nice and secure and offers great biking and a playground second to none. The staff is amazing and the Owner is constantly making improvements throughout. You can see the pride that is put into this place. The bathrooms are always maintained clean as a whistle and the laundry facility is nice. With full hookups, there is honestly nothing else you could want at a campground. I've camped at several State, private owned campgrounds and KOAs and this one is hard to beat!

We absolutely love staying here! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The campground is beautiful, clean, and so well maintained, with gorgeous mountains and beautiful Schoharie Creek, the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family. There are so many fun activities for both kids and adults, and the sites are spacious and well cared for. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a fun family camping trip, this campground truly has it all. You can tell how much pride and heart goes into this place. We've made so many wonderful memories here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience!

This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL campgrounds that I've ever seen! The creek made my husband so happy as he caught fish every day! I bird watched, star gazed, rode my bike, relaxed and absorbed all of the beauty. This was our 2nd May visit and we will be back again next year! Highly recommended!
