We had a lovely spot by the creek with a resident bald eagle. Different types of well-maintained sites will suit anyone's taste from shady spots, creek views, upper bluff area or full sun. My only complaint is that the office made it too easy to access Ben & Jerry's ice cream! LOL !! Ice cream AND a campfire!! Does it get any better than that? Staff members were friendly & helpful.

Likely the most beautiful KOA we have stayed at. It was quiet, well kept, nice staff and clean bathrooms. The wifi was great. For a fun, relaxing camping trip this place is great! Plenty of on-site walking and a beautiful creek to cool off in. I would only note that it is a very remote location so expect to do a fair amount of countryside driving to get to restaurants, shopping or exploring.

we thought it was a beautiful campground and location was gorgeous. we could see that a lot of improvements were underway (no hot water in the bathhouse while we were there) and hope to be able to see those in the future! would recommend the campground 100% based on the work that is being done.

We have been very busy making improvements.Thank you for noticing. We were very happy that our plumber was able to find us a new hot water heater of the correct type and replace it the very next day. I hope you noticed on the park map we have three other bathouses and got to take a hot shower

Very nice campground, staff, exceedingly clean bathhouse and restrooms. It was quiet, not loud and obnoxious like many places we have stayed. The property and scenery are beautiful. The absolute only thing that would be a ridiculously easy fix would be better hookup to the sewer. It was just a "pvc" pipe but no "connector" for secure hook up. But other than that it was great

Beautiful serene campground! Huge grassy, level lots spread out around pasture surrounded by trees for shade! Excellent WiFi, loved the cabanas providing shade at the pool! Lots to do for kids! Lovely creek for swimming & relaxing! Well stocked store and very friendly & helpful staff! We really enjoyed our 6-day stay!

We stayed this past weekend the campground is very spacious and the site I stayed in was very spacious. My only complaint was that we had to drive to the pool which was about 3/4 of a mile away from our site. There were many sites empty that weee within walking distance of the pool

The campground is very clean. The people are very friendly. The activities were great for the children. I would like to see earlier opening of the pool and also later closings. The kids are up early and wanting to go swimming on hot days. Overall a wonderful place to camp.

Campground is very clean and very large. Our first time and we are already talking about our return stay. Only down fall is the pool and water slide hours.

We only stayed one night but loved the pool and the creek. We caught 2 fish! We also really loved our campsite with a splendid view of the creek. We are planning another trip there in July!

During our stay the campground was half empty with daily temps in the 90's. We were assigned a site in the full sun while we could see shady sites. It would have been nice if staff recommended a shady site even if the price was higher, we would have taken it. Thank goodness for the beautiful swimming pool to help keep us cool. Nice level site and the grounds were very clean.

Really great KOA, appreciate it being off the beaten path. Some full timers not that friendly to folk passing through that was disappointing. Overall a very nice experience

This is a very large campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the Catskill mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Spent Father’s Day weekend with family. Lots to do with the kids. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was nice. Beautiful camp ground, clean and well kept.

Very clean! Nice big spread out sites. The only problem we had was pop up tents. We usually put one up to cook under and one up to put the picnic table under. We were asked to take one down as you are allowed only one per site. Not sure what we will do in the rain as we are a large party of 7 campers.

We had a very good time. The park was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Plenty to do during the day and quiet at night. We will be looking at Gilboa Koa as part of our yearly rotation of camp sites.

Stay was nice and grandkids had a great time. when I arrived at the gate I explained my son was running late and was told he just needed to check in at the office and give his plate number. Rated 3 stars becouse as when my son arrived and needed to check in to our site. Lady in the office was very rude to him. He called me asking if he was taken care which all they needed was a plate number.

We tent camped. The campground is beautiful and spacious. The bathrooms for campers are very nice but there were times we waited up to 40 minutes to get in.

Glad you had a great camping trip. We do have multiple bathrooms in the park and we definitley encourage you on your next visit with us to use a different bathhouse if the one in the tent area is too busy.

My wifes family has been using this campground for over 40 years. Recent stays have not been enjoyable and we are looking into other options. Biggest problem is the lack of picking your site which was only removed this year. Letting them pick your site seems to be an issue as they will cram you in a small site when the park is not full.

You do have the ability when booking online to leave a note to request a specific site. Or you can always call and make a reservation and ask for a spcific site. Yes the software will auto assign a smaller site when you have a smaller rig.

The fact that this campsite is family run is evident in the pride and care of the place and the friendliness of the everyone in the staff. Our second time here and love all the improvements! Only thing I was surprised and concerned that there is no recycling/separation of the trash?? Isn't it the law in NYC to separate trash and recycle? I saw so many cans in the trash that could be redeemed!

Everything was great! The only issue we had is that we had asked three times if the gate would go up at 11 pm when part of our group whom traveled three hours arrived and they said yes it would go up but it didn’t . Then the campground couldn’t find their reservation and we had already checked them in . So it should f been there . They took care of the issue and escorted them to the site .

We had a 5 night stay here in June. It was very quiet since it was early in the summer season, which we greatly enjoyed! The campground is beautifully maintained and the sites spacious. It’s in a remote location with a feel of being far from the hustle and bustle of life. The staff was very friendly and had good recommendations of places to go and see. Keep up the great work!

We had an issue upon arrival, where our site did not match our reservation. The staff corrected this promptly, and were very nice. Overall the campground is beautiful. Bathrooms some of the cleanest ive seen. Activities were good.

Sites were clean, new shower houses are great. There were several vehicles not adhering to the 5 mph speed limit, some appeared to be the workers for the campground. Biggest complaint is having to hike up that hill to register upon arrival. That is very inconvenient, especially for us older folk. That needs definite improvement. Overall we had a nice quiet week and met some nice people.

We agree the hike up the hill to register is steep. Our long term plan is to build a new store building on the level where you pull in. Unfortunatley no great solution in the short run. We have tried a few different ideas already. Definitley open to any ideas or suggestions you might have.

Large area and nice open area. The Very Long Path is next to the campground. Walked to the Cider works and enjoyed their varies Ciders. Also went to the local Museum and the Dam. Very pretty area.

Two couples, no kids and one dog. Very clean, well maintained campground. Pool area was nice, we had a lot of sun so was thankful for the covered lounge chairs. Large site next to open area so we got in a lot of stargazing. Can’t say enough about this KOA, would definitely recommend to alll! We will be back soon.

We love this campground! This KOA has it all. It is beautifully located in the Catskill Mountains and offers great views and access to the Schoharie creek. The creek has a nice cliff background, deep area for you to swim, raft and fish! The campground also has a nice in-ground pool, loungers, and several waterslides for the kids. There is always something to do here or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet of the large sites. My family loves playing candy bingo, listening to the bands and DJ parties at the pavilion, the constant different fun themed weekends, the crafts for adults and kids, and tons of games. The campground is nice and secure and offers great biking and a playground second to none. The staff is amazing and the Owner is constantly making improvements throughout. You can see the pride that is put into this place. The bathrooms are always maintained clean as a whistle and the laundry facility is nice. With full hookups, there is honestly nothing else you could want at a campground. I've camped at several State, private owned campgrounds and KOAs and this one is hard to beat!

We absolutely love staying here! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The campground is beautiful, clean, and so well maintained, with gorgeous mountains and beautiful Schoharie Creek, the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family. There are so many fun activities for both kids and adults, and the sites are spacious and well cared for. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a fun family camping trip, this campground truly has it all. You can tell how much pride and heart goes into this place. We've made so many wonderful memories here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience!

This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL campgrounds that I've ever seen! The creek made my husband so happy as he caught fish every day! I bird watched, star gazed, rode my bike, relaxed and absorbed all of the beauty. This was our 2nd May visit and we will be back again next year! Highly recommended!
