General Campground Information

Wi-Fi / Internet Access & Cable

WI-FI
We are pleased to offer amazing complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout our entire park. To connect just use, "BrownCountyKOA"  There password is 8129884675

Cable
Some of our RV sites have cable hook-ups and some do not. We once paid for cable until we went to turn the cable back on after the winter season to have our provider tell us they no longer offer that service. That being said, you will encounter one of three scenarios:
1. You get a strong clear picture
2. You get a blurry, somewhat not great picture
3. You do not get it at all
This is out of our control and we apologize to those who depend on cable. We did however pay extra to get excellent Wi-Fi, so maybe you can compromise with us? Enjoy.

Visitor Policy

Visitors of registered guests are welcome, but are NOT covered by your site registration. In addition to our facilities and amenities, we invest thousands of dollars annually to maintain and improve our beautiful, wooded nature trail and landscaping.  Unlike a public park, our property is not subsidized by taxpayer dollars, and our trees, flowers and landscaping do not take care of themselves. Additionally, we work hard to create a peaceful environment that does not get over crowded with outside people who are not registered guests and their vehicles, which is subject to the two-car limit per site. Therefore, even if all your visitors are doing is sitting at your site, they still need to stop at the office, pay the Visitor fee, and receive a pass. Cost is $5/day per vehicle. After registering in the office, visitors are then welcome to enjoy all the park amenities until 9:30pm.  Visitors wishing to stay the night must inform the office before the front desk closes.  Parking is limited on sites, and Visitors may be required to park in the General Store parking lot area and display a Visitor car tag. Guest who are found to be hosting visitors that have not registered may be subject to a fine or ejection.

Max Occupency

Max occupancy for all sites (Tent, RV, Deluxe Kabin, & Kamping Kabins) is 6 no exceptions. You may NEVER have more then 6 people per site. If you are found to have more then the safe allotted amount of people, no matter what age they are, you will be charged and or in extreme cases asked to leave. No refund will be given. Please honor the national KOA requirement to keep everyone safe and not take advantage of electric/water/sewage/& events.

Quiet Hours

Inclement Weather
We fully understand that inclement weather is not ideal for camping, but unfortunately, the weather is not in our control. As a result, we won't take credit for the sunshine, nor the blame for rain. When reservations are made, guests must understand that they are agreeing to our cancelation policies for their camping plans.  While we cannot guarantee the weather will be perfect for your stay (although we certainly hope it will), WE GUARANTEE that once your camping reservations are made, we ensure that a camping experience with us is available only for you, and as such, we turn away all other prospective guests from that point forward.  As a business we also incur an expense to process reservations via your credit card payment.  Therefore, even in instances of inclement weather, refunds of reservation deposits will be made consistent with our cancelation policies.

Select My Site Option

Choose the option to select your specific site with KOA Select My Site!  This service enables you to choose your individual site, or two or more sites together. This popular option was added due to the increased demand of our park and to meet guest's requests for this service.  When making reservations, guests can use "KOA Select My Site" online, or when speaking to our local office or reservation center staff.  Requests should be made at time of reservation or as early as possible.  Please note: A one-time $20.00 fee applies that is not refundable if canceling. All requests are subject to availability and are only guaranteed when payment for this option is added to your reservation.  To ensure the best camping experience possible for you, management reserves the right to make any necessary changes. (eg. flooded sites due to heavy rain or unexpected damage to site).

Linen Package in our Accommodations

Guests staying in one of our deluxe cabins will enjoy the convenience and comfort of linens, automatically included as part of your reservation!  Laundered and prepared for you, this package provides all bed sheets, blankets, pillows, bath towels and wash clothes needed for your stay.

Guests staying in one of our Camping Cabins may add the linen package for a one-time additional charge of $30.00.  With advance requests, our housekeeping staff will even make the main bed prior to your arrival. This offering is designed to eliminate one more item you need to pack, and enhance your overall outdoor hospitality experience.  While we will attempt to keep an inventory of linens on hand, advance orders are strongly encouraged as supplies may not be available for same-day arrivals.  To order, simply add a note when making your reservation or give us a call and we'll take care of the rest!

Trash Pick Up & Recycling Program

We would love to collect your trash for you at your site in the morning!! Please do not leave it out at night as critters tend to get into it. Doing the right thing to keep unnecessary items out of landfills, we are "Green" and encourage our guests to recycle. To make it easy for everyone, guests are asked to sort their trash into three categories: (1) paper, metal, plastic recycling materials; (2) bottle deposit items of pop/beer glass, plastic and aluminum cans; and (3) all other trash/garbage. Recycling bins will be located by the dumpster. Guests may also leave their recycling and trash bags in front of their site where we will pick it up between 8:00am-6:00pm. We kindly ask that you please take a few minutes to separate your bags into the three categories noted above.

Firewood Policy

For the convenience of our guests and in order to prevent the spread of invasive species, we have high-quality, mixed hardwood firewood bundles available for purchase at the General Store, and we will even deliver it right to your site.
Bringing your own firewood into a campground is like bringing outside food into a restaurant with a better view.
