We are now a part of the Little Free Library Community

Discover, Relax, and Read: Our Campground Now Has Its Own Little Free Library!

There’s something magical about camping—the crackle of a campfire, the rustle of leaves, the quiet moments that invite you to slow down. And now, your stay at our campground just got even cozier. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve added our very own Little Free Library, giving campers a new way to unwind, explore, and connect during their visit.

Whether you’re lounging in a hammock, sipping coffee at your campsite, or winding down after a day of adventure, you can now grab a book, share a book, and be part of a global movement that celebrates community and the joy of reading.

What Is a Little Free Library?

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota, dedicated to building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all. Their mission is simple and powerful:

These charming book-sharing boxes are open 24/7, freely accessible to everyone, and run by volunteer stewards who believe in the power of stories. Millions of books are exchanged every year through Little Free Libraries around the world, helping to strengthen neighborhoods, spark conversations, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

Some powerful facts from Little Free Library’s mission:

  • One book is shared every day on average in each Little Free Library.
  • 98% of people say their neighborhood feels friendlier because of a Little Free Library.
  • 72% of stewards say they’ve met more neighbors thanks to their library.

Little Free Library also champions literacy equity by granting libraries to under served communities and promoting diverse books through their Read in Color program, which shares stories from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented voices.

Introducing: Our Campground’s Free Little Library

We’re proud to join this global movement by installing our own Little Free Library right here at the campground!

What This Means for You

During your stay, you can:

  • Take a book to enjoy at your campsite or cabin
  • Leave a book for the next camper
  • Discover new authors and genres
  • Share stories with fellow travelers
  • Encourage kids to read during downtime

It’s a simple, joyful way to bring people together—and it fits perfectly with the spirit of camping: community, connection, and slowing down to enjoy the moment.

Why a Little Free Library Belongs at a Campground

Camping naturally invites reflection, imagination, and curiosity—the same qualities that books inspire. Adding a Little Free Library to our campground creates a space where:

  • Families can bond over shared stories
  • Kids can discover the joy of reading
  • Guests can unwind with a book by the fire
  • Travelers can leave behind a piece of their journey

It’s a small box with a big impact.
