The campgrounds were very nice and the staff was great. If you have an RV, this will be a great place. We did not stay all three nights due to inability to sleep. The fact that the highway noise and train noise was so disruptive should be mentioned on the website. Also, the mattresses used in the cabin beds are useless for comfort. No one over the age of 40 could possibly be comfortable on those.

Stayed in cottage# 2. TV didn't work. Felt like you might fall through the floor by bathroom. Room was bit dusty. Bed frame loose. Mattress had a odd hump in it. Grounds and overall appearance looked good. Staff was nice.

We stayed in a simple cabin for the first time. Simple and great experience. As always, the Big Timber Staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. Next time we want to upgrade to an RV Patio Site with a Hot Tub! Thank you and hope to see you again.

Excellent campsites, facilities, and staff! Only negative is that you hear traffic on the interstate at night and the occasional train passing through; so if you’re a light sleeper I recommend bringing a sound machine or headphones.

It was a rustic cabin, there was sheets and a blanket available for us. It also had an ac and heater to use. It is right next to the interstate and the other side has a very busy train. Nothing against the koa just a bad spot! It has a very beautiful camp ground, and only $80 instead of $120 for a hotel room it was ok. Just didn't sleep well because all the noise.

Just disappointed the jumping pad was deflated and could not be used. The hot tub at the pool had such a strong odor of chemicals and so many insects in there. We chose not to use it due to the odor and insects. While we were enjoying the pool the evening we checked in, a gentleman came and said we had to get out as he had to close it up early. How disappointing. 9 am to 9 pm not adhered to.

A pleasant stay overall. Deluxe cabin was comfortable, but didn’t match advertised photos accurately. It would benefit from a little maintenance. The night noise from passing trains was unfortunate! A small electric kettle would be a suggested addition to the deluxe cabin. The pots and pans were ok, but the one we used needed a scrub before use. Minor issues, so overall an enjoyable experience.

Noisy, cabin way in back, trains, pool closed girl unlocked it but very dirty apparently a storm came thru. Overall area is nice but needs some work in areas

Campground is very clean, staff goes above & beyond, Thanks Rikki, breakfast burritos & scones in office are amazing. Dog friendly (pick up your poop!!!) Be warned that if you are in a cabin they are right next to the highway & train track so it can be really loud!!!

Cabin felt dirty, are very close together, right on the highway and also RR tracks so a decent night's rest after a long drive was not in the cards. The cabin next to us were told we had to share a fire pit and picnic table...cabins are squeezed together close enough, but there's room for another table and pit. Owner did bring 2nd pit. Bathrooms offer no counter space. Staff "just work here."

Nice store. Good food truck. Cabin had sheets which was a nice surprise. Only downside were there were lots of spiders and webs in the cabin. Killed at least 5 spiders right away including a big on on the comforter. Webs had been there awhile and I walked right into one near the corner

I stayed in a cabin that was right in the freeway. It was loud. There’s also a train that goes by every couple of hours blowing its horn. The bed was uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

Love the cabins but moved to close to interstate and way too far from bathroom facilities. Additional restrooms would be helpful for the cabins. Nice remodel of the bathrooms but locks need to be adjusted on all stalls. There but don't work! Overall really do enjoy going there. Great for kids. Will be back.

Cabin 2 was backed into the woods with no grass area around it and pretty much falling apart. Definitely needs some updates and landscape work. While all the others had a small grass area. No fire pit. Workers were friendly though.

We decided last minute to swing into Big Timber/Greycliff KOA on our way across Montana and it was late at night, close to 11pm, even though they were closed, employees that were off the clock heard us pull in and came to get us two cabins for us and our 5 kids. We were very tired and so grateful. The breakfast burritos were out of this world!

To find site at dark is hard. No water near cabin. No outside table and firepit for cabin. Dirty restroom in a morning. Year ago (at different cabin) we were absolutely satisfied! Few miles to East is rest area, absolutely free and without trouble.

We are a long bed truck, and 42' 5th wheel. I booked a site large enough for 45' trailer according to what the campground picked for me. However, our truck would not fit in the site once I unhooked. They advertise plenty of big spots, but this place is a tight fit. You also have to be ok with the trees, manuevering in them, and what they drop on your rigs, branches included. One went down in the park the day we arrived. It's a pretty setting, creek is on site. But be aware that it is next to freeway. All that said, the people who work/manage are good people and helpful where they can be.

We have stayed here many times now. They are the best! Always friendly and welcoming. They are always available for questions and just make it an all around pleasant stay. Jonathon is amazing and so good with customer service. This is one of iur favorite KOA campgrounds!

We seemed to have had a different experience than the two reviews ahead of mine. We've been traveling in our motorhome for a month now and have stayed in many campgrounds including KOAs. I thought this campground was one of the nicest “journeys” that we've stayed in. Sites are level and we found the campground to be clean and well taken care of. Management does mention noise from the highway and trains that may be going by but we didn't notice that at all. We would definitely stay here next time our travels bring us to this area.
