Lovely park

The pool was cold and had a lot of bugs in it. The hot tub was also not working (colder than the pool). Not enough restrooms throughout.

Nice long sites for a 45’ coach towing a Jeep Gladiator. Easy in and out which is always a plus. Staff was great and the food is great!

Beautiful and well kept. Spa was really nice. Only complaint is the train noise during the night.

The place was nice and clean with exceptional shower stalls. The breakfast burritos were quite tasty.

Park was very well kept and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Our only concern was the sites were very close together. Would still stay here again

I do think some one should take you to your site especially in the 20-30 sites

Roads and spaces are a little tight if you have a big rig with a toad attached. Signage was poor as to where to exit. Will probably not visit this campground again.

Friendly staff Clean showers and restrooms Nice laundry room Everything was exceptional. Would stay again and encourage others that are traveling that area of Montana.

Pool not open. Space assigned did not have enough room for our slide out without being in neighbors space. Staff was friendly. Was reassigned to a larger space only after asking. No sewer though.

Nice shade trees, and some sites back up to a little creek. Bathroom could use more shelving/benches to put stuff on. Ladies room was clean but ran out of TP and towels in the early evening. Highway and train noise didn't bother us but could make tent camping uncomfortable. Really nice pool and friendly staff.

Easy on/off from the interstate. Friendly, helpful staff. It is about 40 minutes to the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. We had a pull thru site with FHU. Easy to get into and out of. Fully stocked office. The only negative was that not all guests cleaned up after their dog in the K9 park.

Great campground, convenient to highway, noise from trains can be annoying but never bothered us! Warm and friendly staff.

Excellent staff and facility, However, traffic and train horns.

Very quiet, clean facility.

Very nice park. Good facilities. Plenty of things for Kids. Only down side is close to a train track so can be a bit noisy. But did not keep us from sleeping.

If you are traveling during summer don’t stop as very very few shade trees in the full hookup area. Also the dog park is right next to the dumpsters and the dump station so you can imagine how that smells.

Always a great stay. Great new rehabbed facilities as well!

Sites need more attention. If you don't like train noise, don't go there
Jul 16, 2025
Pool wasn't clean Some sites have a very cicurios route to park

The noise level with the train whistle every hour was terrible. The highway traffic added to the noise. It was the worst stay we have had in our month long road trip. I would never advise anyone to stay there if they need a good nights sleep.

Everyone was very helpful and welcoming, I was a little surprised to at the condition of the grounds, it wasn't quite up to the KOA experience.

We had 1 night on our way from Roosevelt NP to Yellowstone NP. We were very disappointed that the pool was filthy. It was skimmed, but I don't think a filter had been working for days. We got in and out quickly. The laundry wasn't very clean, but the showers were clean and the staff were very good. We enjoyed the breakfast burritos and scones. Our site was a nice, shady pull thru.

What a beautiful setting. So many camping places are an empty lot with no trees. Nice design, using existing trees. A criticism - The sights need to be level. We are a long 5th wheel and it almost couldn’t self level. We had a difficult time at our site dumping our sewer. We couldn’t dump because of height of the sewer pipe. It was uphill to our tank outlet. Still a beautiful setting.

We had the perfect shaded spot for our stay. The campground was clean. The pool and the playground were nice and offered the kids things to do. The restrooms were nice and clean.

We’ve stayed at quite a few KOA Campgrounds and this particular location could use some TLC.

I would have given them more stars if I could. Very friendly staff and go above and beyond to help. Super clean camp ground

For the most part was a quiet stay until people with 4 dogs took the spot next to us and 2 dogs were barkers. The trash was overflowing and made using the dog park less than ideal. This was our second stay here, the first stay was great!!!

We have stayed at numerous KOAs throughout the states and this one has rated the worst so far. The staff were nice but the campground itself was not. Branches were falling on peoples vehicles, large birds pooped all over our stuff, smelt like garbage, right next to train tracks and highway so very noisy. Drive the extra 30 or so miles and stay in Livingston because that one is so much better.

I had a very nice spot under the trees, which was nice for helping to keep my coach cool. I enjoyed listening to the rustling of the leaves in the wind. The only drawback was that across the highway is a train that has a very loud whistle and runs throughout the night. It did wake me a couple times every night.

Noisy, cabin way in back, trains, pool closed girl unlocked it but very dirty apparently a storm came thru. Overall area is nice but needs some work in areas

Could use hooks and bench space in the bathrooms thank you for overall great day. The hot tubs were amazing as were wonderful caring staff

Our site was great, their was no problem with train or traffic noice at all. Laundry room was clean and in working order Only issue I had was the pool, it was 100 degrees outside and was wanting to cool off. The temperature of the pool was wonderful and that is where that ends. The pool was cloudy but I got in. well there were paint chips floating in the water, bugs everywhere. I got out!

Nice place with shade. Clean. A little tight on the spots but ok. Trash is only located at the entrance so had to walk a bit to take it out. Overall a nice place no issues!
Jul 10, 2025
Nice park- the staff are always out and about taking care of the park. The only draw back is the interior roads are very narrow for big rigs. We did not use any of the amenities.

Our visit to the Big Timber/Greycliff KOA was fantastic! The staff was fantastic and friendly. We originally arrived prior to check in and inquired about coming in early but were unable to. We were TOTALLY okay with that knowing that the official check in time was. The employee still went out of their way to go outside and look around and see if there was somewhere we could park onsite until our reserved site opened up. Even though there wasn't, we greatly appreciated the effort given and care shown by the gesture! Our site was beautiful! We had full hookups and a very easy to navigate back in site next to a cute little creek. The sound of the creek was very calming when hanging out on the site and overnight when sleeping. There were many trees, a nice picnic table, and a fire pit available on our site. The bathrooms and showers were very nice and well maintained. We only stayed one night, but the experience was fantastic. Prior to the visit we had to call to update our reservation and the employee was extremely helpful over the phone as well. I know over the phone people aren't always as cordial since they're not face to face, but that was not the case here.

An absolutely wonderful stay! As a cancer survivor currently cycling around the world to raise funds for the World Cancer Research Fund, getting a quiet, restful night's sleep is incredibly important for my recovery each day. This KOA delivered exactly what I needed. The campground was peaceful, and the restrooms and showers were spotlessly clean. Beyond the great facilities, the hospitality was outstanding. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind, especially the wonderful team at the reception desk who welcomed me with open arms. Thank you for providing such a comforting rest stop on my journey. Highly recommended!
