Campground Reviews

They can’t do anything about the proximity to the trains and highway, but the park was unkempt and trees need trimming. It was tight and the trees were so overgrown it made maneuvering our fifth wheel difficult. The park was not what we have come to expect from a KOA.

Enroute back home to eastern Oregon we stayed here for a couple nights to recuperate. Check-in was quick and easy. Site was level, spacious with plenty of grass. The only complaints I had were the bathrooms and showers in dire need of a remodel scheduled for 2025. Laundry room had nice, new machines! I would love to see the water park on the property renovated and re-opened.

Nice place to stay for a short time, quite except for a train once in awhile which we liked to hear them go by. friendly employees.

Knowing you have a campsite that has an issue with turkey vultures, why wouldn't you close off that campsite permanently? We had to request to be moved because the vultures were crapping all over our unit. When my husband requested the change you indicated to him that you knew it was a problem. Guess the almighty buck is more important than customer happiness.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots to do for kids with jumping pillow, pool, playground, basketball hoop and game room. Lots of trees and shade.

The pull through site we were assigned was very difficult for the size of our trailer, which I specified when making the reservation. Also, the night trains were extremely loud and unexpected. Very spotty wifi.

Train and highway noise. Biggest issue is that the sites are very close to one another and not long enough for a 30’ fifth wheel without just about hanging into the roadway. Had to park truck away from the trailer as trailer barely fit on the sight.

The campground is clean and big! Lots of things for kids and adults to do. The petting zoo is a hoot! The splash park and hot tubs are so nice. The band was amazing!

Nice people and sites.

Your camp ground needs some serious upgrades, shower curtains hanging on by two loops to the strange arangement of urinal to sink. The restroom/shiwers need serious renovations and upgrades. Is it now policy that KOA's dont carry beer or wine. It was an 8 mile drive to the nearest refreshment stand. I was appreciative that there was a place to park my unusual vehicle, but the cabins are way to cl

Was good for an over night stop

stayed one night during travel. Easy to get our 5th wheel in and out and the site was nice and big.

Good overnight for us Easton and off the highway.

Too much noise. Interstate and train very close

The campground is clean and well mowed. The spaces are really narrow and difficult to get into and out of for a 44 foot class A. The freeway noise and trains are too much. We scheduled a 2 day stay but due to the sleepless night listening to trains and the freeway, we left after night one. We were given a refund for the second night which was awesome. The campground does offer free earplugs.

The bathrooms need much updating and some kind of veneration. The sites are very small and kind of on top of each other. I would not recommend his place to anyone unless they do some much needed maintenance

This campground appears to have been completely redesigned since I was here in 2017. Thank You. I will be back again next time I'm traveling through the area.

Fantastic camp ground! Staff amazing and very clean!

It’s adequate for an overnight stay while passing through. We had all the windows closed and a fan running in our camper van and the passing train whistle woke us up from a dead sleep 4x thru the night. The restrooms were cringe worthy to be polite but I gave an extra point for planned renovations in spring 2025. I would choose a different stopover based on the train noise during the night alone

Trim you trees

Nice mostly shady place, friendly staff , clean and nice store.

Overnight stop. Be prepared for the trains. You can get earplugs at the office

We only stayed overnight. The campground was clean and well kept. Our pull through site was level and was easy to maneuver in and out. Easy access to the freeway.

I love staying there. I have a nice spot for my tent showers. The bathrooms access to hiking. Yes I will come again.

Beautiful campground. Nice amenities and things for kids to do. Unfortunately it is right next the highway which is frustrating because you hear it all night. Apparently the highway was built after the campground was built and they built it right through their campground. Aside from that a really nice campground

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We are used to freeway and railroad noise when traveling and normally no big deal. However, this freeway and train noise was way beyond reason at our campsite. Get a campsite on the far south side and it is not bad at all. There is a lot of toys and an 80 foot bounce pillow for the kids and they keep the campground clean.

Nice in & out campground. Only issue is the train which nothing you can do about. Cute that the office offers free ear plugs.

2 nights too much...make it an overnight only. LOUD with trains and traffic and there is NOTHING in Big Timber.

Nice long pull through.

Campsite was advertised as tent site with water. There was not water at the site. The "things to do" listed rafting available and they would be happy to help set it up. When checking in both employees at the desk appeared to have no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the rafting. It was clean and well taken care of which was a positive.

I would pass on this KOA next time simply due to RxR noise.

It was a good stay but the pool was dirty with floating bugs and the wifi was not good. The big trees were really nice, the property was clean, trains are a bit of a nuisance but a nice setting.

Our visit to the Big Timber/Greycliff KOA was fantastic! The staff was fantastic and friendly. We originally arrived prior to check in and inquired about coming in early but were unable to. We were TOTALLY okay with that knowing that the official check in time was. The employee still went out of their way to go outside and look around and see if there was somewhere we could park onsite until our reserved site opened up. Even though there wasn't, we greatly appreciated the effort given and care shown by the gesture! Our site was beautiful! We had full hookups and a very easy to navigate back in site next to a cute little creek. The sound of the creek was very calming when hanging out on the site and overnight when sleeping. There were many trees, a nice picnic table, and a fire pit available on our site. The bathrooms and showers were very nice and well maintained. We only stayed one night, but the experience was fantastic. Prior to the visit we had to call to update our reservation and the employee was extremely helpful over the phone as well. I know over the phone people aren't always as cordial since they're not face to face, but that was not the case here.

An absolutely wonderful stay! As a cancer survivor currently cycling around the world to raise funds for the World Cancer Research Fund, getting a quiet, restful night's sleep is incredibly important for my recovery each day. This KOA delivered exactly what I needed. The campground was peaceful, and the restrooms and showers were spotlessly clean. Beyond the great facilities, the hospitality was outstanding. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind, especially the wonderful team at the reception desk who welcomed me with open arms. Thank you for providing such a comforting rest stop on my journey. Highly recommended!
