"Think Outside"...and just forget about the box! While staying at the Big Timber KOA, you'll be only minutes away from some of the most refreshing and breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities Montana has to offer. Just a little over an hour's drive south and west, through historic Livingston and a meandering drive down the aptly named Paradise Valley, you'll run straight into Yellowstone National Park. 
Drive an hour south and east, and you'll be treated to the rolling hills of the Beartooth Mountains, up through the wonderful mountain town of Red Lodge, and over Beartooth Pass....rated the #1 most scenic drive in America. Really.
An hour to the west will take you over Bozeman Pass and down into Bozeman, Montana, home of the MSU Bobcats, the Museum of the Rockies, Bridger Ski Resort, and shopping and dining on one of the quaintest and most diverse main streets in Montana.

Natural Bridge State Park

Take a beautiful 45 minute drive "up the Boulder" to Natural Bridge State Park.  Take McLeod St (pronounced Mc-Cloud...so you sound like a local) straight south out of Big Timber.  The road will lead you on a breathtaking scenic drive along the Boulder River Valley, then straight into the park.  Keep your eyes open for pronghorn, mule deer, turkey, and the occasional bear or moose!
