I was very disappointed. We chose this location coming back to Ohio because it had a pool. My daughter really wanted to swim. The pool was closed and never re-opened because of trying to get the ph levels right. Also, there was supposed to be Wi-Fi. It didn’t even work. None of our devices would connect. Grounds in need of attention. Trees need trimming for big rigs. Advertised restaurant on site, has not been in operation for 2 years.

The park is beautiful. The problem is it is a big park, with only 1 bathroom which could use some updates. It smells musty , you have to walk up a hill, handicapped people have problems going up and down the hill.

Closes at 5:00. Really? During the summer? Our reservation had no name in box on it— just a bunch of sites for several in there.. pool wasn’t open, or if it was, it was nasty… no number to call for emergency, or help— decent enough place, convenient, gentleman who answered nice— but not what you’d expect from a KOA..

In the past, we've really enjoyed staying on the pond side. But this time, we stayed on the highway side. The highway is right there so it's very noisy and it's just not nearly nice asthetically as the pond side. It's like two different campgrounds. We'll only stay on the pond side, which is beautiful, from now on. All the people there are very nice and helpful. The bathrooms are also clean.

Would’ve been nice to know pool wasn’t open, plus the main driveways through the park were gravel not paved so made it hard for young kids to ride bikes and scooters

The advertisement of the KOA isn’t accurate. The pool was available and the restaurant wasn’t available. Both of them need to be taken off the site. The people were nice especially that worked Friday evening after 6:00.

Great family owned campsite very friendly willing to help you in anyway this campsite has two locations. Try to stay away from the interstate. It gets a bit busy. We stayed next to the fishing pond. A lot quieter.

Just an overnight stay, but it was a very nice one. The staff in the office/store were very friendly and very accommodating. Our site was level as long so we didn’t have to unhitch our toad. Our site was very shady from the trees. We were real close to the highway, so there was some noise from the highway, but we trade that for the convenience of being right off the Hwy for an overnight stop.

The park is beautiful!! The personnel were super friendly and very helpful. This park looks more like a Holiday than a Journey. The sites are large and level and the wifi worked first try. Thanks for a great stay!!

Friendly staff and mostly clean park. NOT FOR BIG RIGS! Advertised food service, but has not had for OVER TWO YEARS. This was the reason we chose this RV park Tree limbs not for Big Rigs - scraped roof three times on the way to our site and once on departure. 50 AMP electric WAS NOT! Could not run two ACs at a time - NEVER a problem at any other KOA. If creek running thru park was filthy!

We had the best spot on the whole campground, right by the pond and dog run. I loved this place. It would have been nice if the pool had been openand my boys were disappointed at rhe 12 ft basketball goal and i definately wouldnt stay on the store side of the campground because of highway noise but overall our stay was great and cant wait to go back!

This is an older but nice KOA. We enjoyed our stay. The slots are long enough the we didn't need to unhook our tow vehicle. The directions for arriving were very clear.

We were very disappointed at the site conditions. We specifically chose it for the pool and internet. Both did not work! Pool had no water and was closed. The internet did not work. The park looked very old and outdated. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We made several stops traveling to buy swim suits. The KOA in Memphis everything worked. We won’t come back to the Benton site.

We had thought we found a gem of a place two years ago. However, this recently stay was a little disappointing. Everything was over grown and the pond was over taken by all of the Lilly pads and hanging tree limbs. We did have an escort but, would love to have garbage pickup.

The location is great. The sites are a good size. The campground needs some TLC but it was great for an overnight stay.

This is a great camp site tucked away in a nicely forested area. I love that the tent sites have a dedicated area far enough away from the RVs/vans (I had a camper van, but still appreciated this). The wooden caricature signs are also a fun touch. The only caveat is to NOT use GPS when driving to this location, since it will take you on a longer route. Use the directions on the KOA App instead

Very nice staff, very willing to help with all your needs. The campground was very clean as well as the bathhouse. The pool was not open but the staff put up two slip N slides for the kids.

Great access to the highway, however, that access comes with a whole LOT of noise. Not at all relaxing. I was also VERY disappointed that the pool was not open even though the website said it opened on Memorial Day (when we went). I had several VERY disappointed teenagers with me who I then had to entertain for 2 days. And then we were yelled at that they were driving the golf cart around!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the facilities for our stay. The pool was not up and running, which was not something that was communicated to us prior to our stay. There was only 1 working dryer in the laundry area (all the others were broken). The sites were very close together. Our kids did not have any hot water when they showered in the shower house on our first night.

The pool wasn’t open, just sitting there drained. The advertised restaurant wasn’t open either. The front store was closed at 4PM. The play ground was filthy and covered in ants. Some bug spray would go a long way. Our outdoor space was shared with the spot next to us, which we didn’t know until arrival. Leaves very little room. For almost 70 a night I’d stay somewhere else next time

Without a doubt - the KINDEST staff of any KOA my husband or I have been to. We stayed for the Eclipse and we're welcomed with a late check-in and amazing service from Becky the following day. Excellent amenities and our children LOVED the parks. If you're considering staying I am confident they are more accommodating than anyone in the area.

We spent a week traveling from Ohio to Kentucky and to Illinois, we stayed at KOAs exclusively and this was by far the most amazing KOA we have been at, and genuinely one of the best campgrounds we've camped at. The staff was friendly, the owner was wonderful, and the pond view was just awesome. This is a hidden gem of Benton for sure.
