Notice about the site across the road would help

Just an overnight stay, but it was a very nice one. The staff in the office/store were very friendly and very accommodating. Our site was level as long so we didn’t have to unhitch our toad. Our site was very shady from the trees. We were real close to the highway, so there was some noise from the highway, but we trade that for the convenience of being right off the Hwy for an overnight stop.

Restroom was pretty far away, office closed early and opened late. But campground was pleasant, all my paperwork was ready for me, it was not a bad stay.

The park is beautiful!! The personnel were super friendly and very helpful. This park looks more like a Holiday than a Journey. The sites are large and level and the wifi worked first try. Thanks for a great stay!!

Friendly staff and mostly clean park. NOT FOR BIG RIGS! Advertised food service, but has not had for OVER TWO YEARS. This was the reason we chose this RV park Tree limbs not for Big Rigs - scraped roof three times on the way to our site and once on departure. 50 AMP electric WAS NOT! Could not run two ACs at a time - NEVER a problem at any other KOA. If creek running thru park was filthy!

We had the best spot on the whole campground, right by the pond and dog run. I loved this place. It would have been nice if the pool had been openand my boys were disappointed at rhe 12 ft basketball goal and i definately wouldnt stay on the store side of the campground because of highway noise but overall our stay was great and cant wait to go back!

This is an older but nice KOA. We enjoyed our stay. The slots are long enough the we didn't need to unhook our tow vehicle. The directions for arriving were very clear.

We were very disappointed at the site conditions. We specifically chose it for the pool and internet. Both did not work! Pool had no water and was closed. The internet did not work. The park looked very old and outdated. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We made several stops traveling to buy swim suits. The KOA in Memphis everything worked. We won’t come back to the Benton site.

We had thought we found a gem of a place two years ago. However, this recently stay was a little disappointing. Everything was over grown and the pond was over taken by all of the Lilly pads and hanging tree limbs. We did have an escort but, would love to have garbage pickup.

The location is great. The sites are a good size. The campground needs some TLC but it was great for an overnight stay.

This is a great camp site tucked away in a nicely forested area. I love that the tent sites have a dedicated area far enough away from the RVs/vans (I had a camper van, but still appreciated this). The wooden caricature signs are also a fun touch. The only caveat is to NOT use GPS when driving to this location, since it will take you on a longer route. Use the directions on the KOA App instead

Pool not in working order Trash over flowing The whole campground is tired and needs revamp Roads uneven, and hard to walk, bench swings nice but full of bird poop Highway noise too I wouldn’t return

Very nice staff, very willing to help with all your needs. The campground was very clean as well as the bathhouse. The pool was not open but the staff put up two slip N slides for the kids.

Great access to the highway, however, that access comes with a whole LOT of noise. Not at all relaxing. I was also VERY disappointed that the pool was not open even though the website said it opened on Memorial Day (when we went). I had several VERY disappointed teenagers with me who I then had to entertain for 2 days. And then we were yelled at that they were driving the golf cart around!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the facilities for our stay. The pool was not up and running, which was not something that was communicated to us prior to our stay. There was only 1 working dryer in the laundry area (all the others were broken). The sites were very close together. Our kids did not have any hot water when they showered in the shower house on our first night.

The pool wasn’t open, just sitting there drained. The advertised restaurant wasn’t open either. The front store was closed at 4PM. The play ground was filthy and covered in ants. Some bug spray would go a long way. Our outdoor space was shared with the spot next to us, which we didn’t know until arrival. Leaves very little room. For almost 70 a night I’d stay somewhere else next time

We were just passing through but our neighbors were great and the location was perfect. Would have preferred tile floors in the shower and the water temp Was variable when others started their showers so had to be careful with that. But normally we would use our own shower.

The KOA is very close to the interstate causing a lot of noise. No fault of the campground. The host is super friendly and very helpful.

A friendly place to stay. We were on our way to Ga. from Mn. On our way home from Ga. , We checked in late , filled out after hour registration, had a good night's sleep , and left next a.m. Definitely is on our travel list. After hr sites excellent.

We really enjoyed the deluxe site we had with the lake view and extra amenities. It was unfortunate that we had to unhook our toad in order to make the turn while maneuvering to go across the road to the section where our site was. Otherwise everything was just fine. The nearness to Walmart was a big help

The men's bathroom needs some work. Only one toilet working, low water pressure in sinks and showers, overall cleanliness is lacking.

Tent camped one night while trying to arrange a car purchase in town. The campground was pleasant and the amenities were nice. The only issue, really, was the sound level from the interstate. Not much can be done about that, I suppose, but I was thankful I brought ear plugs.

This is a good RV park for one to two nights very close to Rend Lake Recreation. Facilities - ok.

Without a doubt - the KINDEST staff of any KOA my husband or I have been to. We stayed for the Eclipse and we're welcomed with a late check-in and amazing service from Becky the following day. Excellent amenities and our children LOVED the parks. If you're considering staying I am confident they are more accommodating than anyone in the area.

We spent a week traveling from Ohio to Kentucky and to Illinois, we stayed at KOAs exclusively and this was by far the most amazing KOA we have been at, and genuinely one of the best campgrounds we've camped at. The staff was friendly, the owner was wonderful, and the pond view was just awesome. This is a hidden gem of Benton for sure.
