Easy to get to. Lady at the check-in was very nice, gave good restaurant recommendations and places that also delivered. Had us follow as she guided us right to our cabin in the little KOA golf cart. Cabin is cute and bathrrom was full sized with plenty of space. Much nicer than a noisy hotel. Enjoyed sitting on front porch having coffee the next morning before we left.

We stopped overnight on a return trip. We had stayed the week before on the way through. This time the toilet kept having issues. Mechanism wired together with a paperclip type set up. Other than that all was ok. Something was making us itch the 2nd time though. Not sure what it was. Great the 1st time. Not as clean etc time #2

No spaces close to a bath house for persons with difficulty walking greater than 100 yds. Baths/showers need to be updated for the disabled.

This is a great campground with nice secluded spots by the pond. The staff was excellent and welcoming. The only reason I’m taking off a star is because of the multiple flushes it takes to clear the toilet bowls in the bathhouse by the pond. Something should be done to make those toilets work properly.

Great campgrounds. A little highway noise but we knew about that when we booked. Got use to it pretty quick. If we are ever back through that way, we'll be glad to stay there again.

We arrived late yet we were escorted to our campsite. We really appreciated this since it was dark. Restrooms are new and clean. Friendly owners. Alerted us to a water leak from the connector. Thank you so much.

Easy location to get to and excellent staff. The bathrooms/showers were very clean and updated.The grounds were spacious. This is right by the expressway so lots noise but doesn't usually bother us. There were strange particles floating down at night-not sure if it was highway smog or ash from a nearby fire(there were no campfires going). Sites were level and ours was gravel.

Owners were very nice and even trimmed some tree limbs because we were concerned they were too low for us to exit the next day. It means a lot when a campground understands that you don't want to damage your RV to park there. Big rig friendly is not only long sites and wide enough roads/ turning room, but also tree height. Good job Benton KOA!

We stayed here in our 38' motorhome. It was a last minute stay and the office was very nice and accommodating. We had a large pull thru level site. It was near the noisy interstate, but they did have some nice sites on a pond across from this side of the park. Staff was great!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. I feel this campground could use some tender loving care. Biggest problem I had was the noise from the Interstate.

This is the second time we stayed at Benton KOA on our return trip of five weeks. This time we stayed on the pond side and it was awesome. Plus, further it’s further from the interstate. Great people and staff. Thanks.

sites are level and easily accessed. People are very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely use Benton KOA again.

Fantastic. Someone there to Check you in, and lead you to your spot after a 7 hour driving day. Plenty of eating/drinking opportunities 5 minutes into town. Nice Pool. Would stay here again, coming through.

Benton KOA Journey is an easy overnight stop just off I-57. Since we were already familiar with the campground layout, we called ahead to ask if we could go directly to our site on the opposite side of the road from the office and check in afterward. The staff gladly accommodated our request. We stayed in Deluxe Full-Hookup Pull-Through Patio Site 65, which made it easy to center our 40-foot fifth wheel on the utilities. The site was slightly off level, but we did not need to use blocks. The gravel patio featured a huge wheelchair-accessible picnic table, fire pit with cooking grate, stand-up charcoal grill, wooden swing, and bench. We received one bar on Verizon and two bars on T-Mobile. There are mature trees around the seven pull-through sites across the road from the main campground, but Starlink should work in most of them if you're able to position the dish around the trees. For this overnight stay, we used our T-Mobile Home Internet, which averaged 358 Mbps download and 2.7 Mbps upload. The campground Wi-Fi was adequate for light browsing. A fenced dog park was conveniently located near our site, and being across the road from the main campground helped reduce interstate noise. Overall, this is a clean, well-run KOA with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and a good overnight stop returning to our home base in southern Illinois to rest and dump tanks.

Easy access off Hwy 57 great rates quite sites near pond Great people Jasmine was especially efficient over the phone and even provided escort services to site on late arrival. Very welcoming and strong Internet clean sites beautiful!
