I only stayed a night while driving through the state; however, my stay was probably my favorite KOA experience. The campsite was quite beautiful, my cabin was super nice (a tv and refrigerator!), and the camp had turned on my heater ahead of time so it was warm and cozy for me. The bathrooms were very clean and check-in/out was straight forward.

What a diamond in the rough! Beautiful campground tucked away by a pond with water lillies and bordered by graceful cypress trees. Very quiet and private. Bathrooms were clean and convenient.

Got in late after a 700 mile day of driving. It was asy to find my resevation information because they had good signage at the office. The site was clearly marked and easy to get to. The bathrooms were clean and the grounds were as well. The only issue I had was not realizing there was a cipher lock on the bathrooms doors and having to go back and get the code was exciting! Great place!

THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. THE CAMPGROUND AND CAMPSITE WAS VERY CLEAN. THE HIWAY TRAFFIC WAS A LITTLE NOISEY AT TIMES DURING THE NIGHT,BUT THAT'S NOT THE CAMPGROUNDS FAULT. WE'VE HAD WORSE PLACES. OVERALL A GOOD PLACE TO STAY.

We came in after dark. Really hard to find our campsite. There was no one around us. Only 2 bathrooms nearby. I’m not sure if that’s enough when it’s busy season. Restrooms were clean and good showers. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Campground has lots of trees and more of a natural setting. Only pulled in for an overnight atop. Close to highway but the highway noise was loud! Lots were nice size/spacious. Didn’t feel like you were on top of your neighbors. Our lot was #22. We would stay here again for a night or two.

Very easy check in and comfortable stay. We had a pull thru site overlooking the pond. Very clean and well-kept campground. Wanted to fish the pond, but it was very overgrown with lily pads. Lots to do in the area and good restaurants nearby in Benton. Cable tv at campsite was great too. Will be back next Spring.

We recently stayed on the pond side. We had a very relaxing weekend. The staff is great and always friendly. ! We love coming here and the staff feels like family. The campsites are well kept and clean. Look forward to staying here again. Jim & Cathy

Had a great week at Benton KOA. Utilities worked very well at the site and appreciated how many sites were pull through. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will keep this KOA in mind when we are traveling through the area.

Bath house was clean but needs upgrade. Campsite was good, however highway noise while outside was very loud and not pleasant.

Enjoyed our stay, however the staff living on site and or long-term visitors had no concern over the speed they traveled, where they traveled or what was going on around them. Stayed in a buddy site and had one vehicle use neighbor site multiple times a day above the posted 5 mph speed limit and we had kids playing on the patio. Camp Host was great and stopped to talk several times.

Overall it was pretty good. The cabin we rented had a horrid sewage smell and when we brought it up to the office they didn’t care. Even with the windows open it was unbearable

Just a brief overnight, got here late so it was super dark and very muddy from the weather (can’t help that). Bathrooms could use some attention. Probably won’t be back

Site is quite lovely but lots of trees ( info for Starlink people). Our site was not level. There were several sites that appeared to have permanent occupants. Also people did not obey leash rule for dogs

Fantastic. Someone there to Check you in, and lead you to your spot after a 7 hour driving day. Plenty of eating/drinking opportunities 5 minutes into town. Nice Pool. Would stay here again, coming through.

Benton KOA Journey is an easy overnight stop just off I-57. Since we were already familiar with the campground layout, we called ahead to ask if we could go directly to our site on the opposite side of the road from the office and check in afterward. The staff gladly accommodated our request. We stayed in Deluxe Full-Hookup Pull-Through Patio Site 65, which made it easy to center our 40-foot fifth wheel on the utilities. The site was slightly off level, but we did not need to use blocks. The gravel patio featured a huge wheelchair-accessible picnic table, fire pit with cooking grate, stand-up charcoal grill, wooden swing, and bench. We received one bar on Verizon and two bars on T-Mobile. There are mature trees around the seven pull-through sites across the road from the main campground, but Starlink should work in most of them if you're able to position the dish around the trees. For this overnight stay, we used our T-Mobile Home Internet, which averaged 358 Mbps download and 2.7 Mbps upload. The campground Wi-Fi was adequate for light browsing. A fenced dog park was conveniently located near our site, and being across the road from the main campground helped reduce interstate noise. Overall, this is a clean, well-run KOA with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and a good overnight stop returning to our home base in southern Illinois to rest and dump tanks.

Easy access off Hwy 57 great rates quite sites near pond Great people Jasmine was especially efficient over the phone and even provided escort services to site on late arrival. Very welcoming and strong Internet clean sites beautiful!
