Meet Your Hosts

Joanne Cates

Welcome to the Bear Lake/Marina Side KOA Holiday!

Joanne Cates grew up in upstate New York and spent many summers in the Adirondack Park. Marrying her husband, Barry, while he was serving in the United States Coast Guard, they raised four children. Twenty two years in the Coast Guard allowed them to travel and reside throughout New England, the mid Atlantic coast, Gulf Coast, Alaska and the Florida Keys. This love of travel, adventure and meeting people brought them to love the RV lifestyle and the campground community. A common goal for the Cates' and KOA family is to help you have an enjoyable and memorable experience while at the Bear Lake KOA campgrounds.
