We will stay here every time we come to Bakersfield!!!!Very nice clean and quiet. Very sad the restaurant closed since the last time we were here.

We had a 2 night stay at it worked well for us. The new manager was so helpful and kind, we enjoyed talking with her. We do have two recommendations for the Bakersfield KOA. 1. In the dog run it would be nice to have a water trough. 2. Have recycling bins available.

Site is well maintained and everything is kept very clean. Loved the team you have on site. They're very organized and responsive. They're as good as we've seen. My only complaint would be the limited entertainment on site. While they have a nice pool & spa, there isn't a game room and the once beloved restaurant and bar is closed.

We have stayed at this location many times over the past many years. It’s very sad to us what KOA has done to this beautiful resort. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it so empty, your long space looks like it’s been done by amateurs, again we are saddened by what KOA has done to this property

Further from Highway 5 than I'd realized, but a good stop-over for my journey. Manager was super-helpful when I called ahead, and stayed past normal office hours to check me in. Even offered to re-open the store if I needed anything! Restrooms were clean and stocked, electrical outlet at the site worked as needed. Campground is gated for security, but a code was available for after hours access.

This campground has deteriated since my previous stay. The on premise restuarant has been permanently closed. The grounds are is disrepair. Not a campground indicative of the Journey title. The trees are producing berries that will definately stain your vehicles. The staff are friendly and helpful is the only positive comment I can leave.

Nice facility and friendly staff. The main reason we stay here is because they have/HAD an onsite restaurant and did not have to unhook our toad. Now that the restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED, we will be staying somewhere else.

It was helpful to have a spot close to Highway 5, but it was also noisy. I heard truck idling noise at night, and in the morning you could clearly hear music and advertisements broadcasting from the nearby gas station loudspeakers. Also I was told by phone that there was no food within walking distance, when there was a food truck on the premises and a fast food restaurant two blocks away.

The place was easy to get into. The sites were fairly level and easy to pull into. Close to a lot of amenities in Bakersfield. Staff was very friendly.

We have stayed there a few times in our travels. Staff as always are very friendly and helpful. Spots are easy to pull in to and hook up. We do miss the restaurant though….

Very “resort” feel. Not inviting. Chased down by worker for “parking” location- i had literally been there 5 minutes & was still unloading car. Our site was on top of dumpster (I have pic) No chance for slide to open - too small. Dog park was behind building- full of mud and sand…I’ve been to many KOA - will not return ! Not the normal friendly feeling I’m used to from KOA- skip it.

Clean. Nice people. Over water for no need. Rented dog site. It was a swamp. My trailer was a muddy mess. Couldnt even keep chairs out . Everything got soaked.

We’ve stayed here a number of times. Location, and the Crest Restaurant were a prime reason. The restaurant is closed and the hot tub has significant dirt on the bottom as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Plus the knob for the jets was gone. We usually stay for two nights as a break but likely won’t in the future.

We stayed at this facility many times before it became a KOA. The restaurant was a big draw. Your web info and front door sign said it was open. It was permanently closed. In a nearly empty park you put us right next to someone else in an area with more street noise. We will likely look elsewhere next time unless the restaurant opens again. What a shame.

Always nice stay. Cherie was outstanding ! Had to switch spots as we needed a longer one. Came in after dark. She showed us the spot with her cart!

Great for traveling through stop but not really ideal location because it’s very close to busy highway. Pretty easy late check in. Nice to have septic at site. Also note Camping World is right up the street.

Nice campground, convenient to town, but too much road noise. I even asked for and received a space in the back, far away from the streets, and it still bugged me until midnight. Good utilities and plenty of room on the pull-through, but the utility riser courtesy lamp was not illuminated. Nice showers, but immediately turn it on so that the five minutes waiting for hot water is minimized.

This is a huge rv park. Lots of amenities. The laundry room is like its own laundromat & the best I've seen at a KOA. Nice office. If you go for a back-in site you'll have more shade. Most of the pull-throughs don't offer much shade. Hookups worked properly. Picnic table. Sites are an alright size. This was an overnight stop so not sure on what you'd do in the area. And this is Bakersfield lol. There's a gate so it feels safe.

First impressions, this place is gorgeous! Very clean, all the grass is green and mowed. No weeds, lots of trees for a little shade. The manager was very nice and professional. We felt very relaxed at this place. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night. Not all KOA's are this nice, this one is a Gem. I will probably book her again when I travel rhis way home.
