Friendly staff. The escort to the site was a pleasant surprise. Well maintained site and the bathroom/showers were very clean. It was a cold and rainy evening, so the heated bathrooms and hot showers were wonderful! We took advantage of the restaurant on-site for dinner after a long drive. Large servings, reasonably priced. and friendly folks.

Our Stay was wonderful. We enjoyed all that this Koa had to offer. Everyone was Wonderful and we look forward to coming back. Every aspect of what you had to offer was awesome. The Insight Restaurant was fantastic and the Service was Perfect.. Again thank you..

So sorry to see that this RV park sold out to KOA, Used to be one of our favorites but we will never stay here again. Prices went way up and some things have been removed. To many others in Bakersfield to choose from. SO sad!

For a single overnight stay, was not able to use restaurant, pool or other amenities. Office staff friendly and helpful, and escort to pull through spot appreciated. Pull-through spaces close together, but OK for overnight stay. Park is quiet and secure.

This is always our favorite KOA. We travel up and down the state of California KOA Bakersfield is a clean, safe campground for us to pull off the road and rest! The Crest restaurant on site is an added bonus! Awesome food and friendly staff!

This is by far the worst KOA Campground we have ever stayed at.... and we have traveled back and forth across the country, from California to Key West! The staff was rude and appeared to be under the influence and the grounds had dog poop everywhere! Additionally, the TRAIN goes by all night long and since the campground sits right on the track, you hear it loud and clear! Stay elsewhere...

It is ok for an overnight/weekend stay but that’s it. The manager, Cheri, is very rude that it is guaranteed she will ruin your time. The campground was full when we got there in November of full timers and families and was a ghost town when we left in January and in this lifestyle, we all talk and it was all because of management. Discriminate against full timers and families.

Had a breakdown on our car that required AAA to come give a jump start. The Rv park would not allow AAA road service to provide service on their property because they stated liability insurance could not be provided. We were left stranded. AAA us a national road service company. KOA needs to change their policy on allowing motorists the ability to have help when on KOA property. Dissatisfied.

I usually come in very late but everything is so well organized that it's very easy for me to check myself in. I don't like writing my credit card information on the envelopes. I actually had someone use my card information to pay for their stay at a KOA, so I usually try to pay cash if I come in too late. I arrived near 1am and was just too tired to fill out the envelope and pay in advance.

The staff are very pleasant, professional and helpful. Park was very clean. Staff were out everyday working on the parking, ensuring the park was clean and greeting the visitors. Can hear the trains from the park. Good place to eat in the park and around the park.

Nice facility, friendly people. Only downside is the general noise level, with the campground right beside two major roads, a car dealership, and the train tracks.

Excellent. This one of our favorite rv parks. KOA has done a great job with the refurbish and love the Camp K9. Staff were great as well.

We've stayed here many times before KOA. Price went up from $50 in March 2022 to $76 in Jan. 2023. What did we get? No cookies at check-in. Terrible cable TV with many channels that are snow or the Direct TV logo. Watched a movie and the picture went from clear to snowy and back to clear. Love the onsite restaurant, the main reason for staying at this park. The Crest is always a good meal.

Facility and staff were great! Dog park area was poor and no dog owners were using it. Traffic noise at night was pretty loud but nothing can be done about that of course. Bar/restaurant on site was a big plus!

KOA Journey Bakersfield is the finest camp that I have ever encountered in 5 years of travel nursing. Immaculate grounds with spacious pads, safe and gated community, pool, spa, store, fitness center, laundry facilities, put green, and an amazing restaurant with reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I will definitely sing their praises and return in the future.

Great place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and they have a restaurant on-site which is great. I picked up some food and was delicious. Dog park is large but a bit sloping. Was more fun just to walk my pup around the site which is pretty large.
