We asked for a spot with trees and did not get it. Pretty disappointed that there’s no more breakfast at the restaurant. That’s one of the reason reasons that we like to stay there when we’re in town.

No toilet paper in men’s bathroom stall. The sidewalk leading up to our RV door at our site was covered with bird poop. Cleaned it as best as I could, didn’t want to step in it upon exiting the door or track it into the RV.

���� Too many rules and regulations, doesn’t feel like real camp . Store doesn’t have enough fun merchandise, not kid friendly. Camp Campground palm trees need trimming feels like it’s more older adult and dog friendly more than family friendly, and we are in our 60s. The only reason we come camping here is because the crest bar and Grill .

Grounds are nice and clean. Staff is nice and friendly. Really like having a good restaurant on the grounds. Making reservations were easy for us and the friends we were traveling with.

We enjoyed our stay while we were passing by headed home from San Diego. The campground was beautiful, staff friendly and overall it was a pleasant stay. Definitely will stay again .

It was a wonderful stay. Enjoyed the pool & spa and the restaurant. The park was sparsely populated and the sites were spacious. The nightly rate was perfect. I was absolutely amazed and will stay here again when passing through.

One night. Pull through site. Beautiful campground. Loved the pool and hot tub. Restaurant was better than expected and they had good happy hour specials.

Had my coach washed while there, the next morning I had water from irrigation system on rear driver's side slide out 5 to 8 feet high. Absolutely unacceptable, had similar problem on a previous stay in different site.

Great park! Except we arrived 1 hour early. We had our RV in camping world for repairs. We picked it up that morning at their appointment time. We were charged 25 dollars for arriving early at the KOA. October is a very slow time for the Bakersfield KOA. There was no inconvenience for any employees for our 1 hour early arrival. Just saying���‍���

Convenient for a stop over. Reasonably priced and very nice facilities. The area around this park is sketch. We use this place when ever going south.

The facility is clean and well kept a nice facility. Unfortunately it’s a little noisy being in center of town. We stayed there coming and going the first experience was excellent the we arrived late the office was closed but the security guard, Ray was his name, got used signed in and in a space. Second stay had a lot dog barking that no one did anything about.

Just spent one night, but site was clean and the pull thru was super handy as we didn't have to unhook our toad. Restaurant on site served us a delicious dinner.

While we only stayed the one night we found the campground to be quite nice. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Would have liked less sand around the campsite as when the sprinklers came on at night, it was tracked everywhere. The restaurant was very nice, and the food good. Easy in and out

The grounds are NOT clean. The power box and water faucet has webs with black widow spiders. The area has weeds with stickers not allowing the kids to play outside. The host recorded on my profile that I was not respectful of their visitor parking policies without ever talking with me from a previous stay. Overall, I did not feel welcomed nor will I ever come back to this KOA site.

Always great to stay at the Crest Bakersfield Journey KOA!! The people that work there, from the Office, Maintenance and restaurant we always know we will be well taken care of.

Very nice campground in gated area. We had a site that was next to two dog pens and rubbish bins that both smelled badly. Dog poop and garbage. Noticed homeless person inside campground with shopping cart of their belongings.

Easy access and exit. Fairly busy street out front but my site was far enough from it that it wasn't an issue. Hookups at site were well-placed. The on-site restaurant is fantastic! Other reviewers said the same but I doubted it. It really was great.

Former RV resort that is now a campground. Maintained very well. Security was very good. We only stayed one night. Helpful and friendly staff. The onsite restaurant was pricey but the food was delicious!

It's bakersfield... but the campground was clean, quiet, and safe. Would definitely stay again when passing through.

This is a huge rv park. Lots of amenities. The laundry room is like its own laundromat & the best I've seen at a KOA. Nice office. If you go for a back-in site you'll have more shade. Most of the pull-throughs don't offer much shade. Hookups worked properly. Picnic table. Sites are an alright size. This was an overnight stop so not sure on what you'd do in the area. And this is Bakersfield lol. There's a gate so it feels safe.

First impressions, this place is gorgeous! Very clean, all the grass is green and mowed. No weeds, lots of trees for a little shade. The manager was very nice and professional. We felt very relaxed at this place. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night. Not all KOA's are this nice, this one is a Gem. I will probably book her again when I travel rhis way home.
